Wunderbar
AAnikeBathen House is simply phenomenal from the mixture of old and modern aesthetic that screams class, elegance and luxury to the squeaky clean, serene environment and the oh so polite staff that were always available to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible. It was such a remarkable experience and I would definitely go back again. I absolutely loved my stay at Bathen House and I swill always recommend. It was the best Easter Holiday and Experience.

GGastnutzerCentral location helps to overcome the cramped feeling staying in the annexe. The car was parked at the other end of town and drop off was difficult to say the least but it is what it is. I had no reason whatsoever to check out the main building reception, breakfast area perhaps a bar and lounge area too because nothing pointed me there! So generally, it was a room in a loft space built to an ”average” measure. I never like shower cubicles where I tend to bang elbows and worry about breaking something when I drop the soap. Breakfast price was horrendous so no inclination to walk in on the hop to check it out for the 2 nights stayed. I felt detached, cramped and in a bed-sit like accommodation. It is what it is.

GGastnutzerIt was an amazing experience. The hotel was clean and the staff was phenomenal. The only thing was that the main guy at the front desk was not welcoming after many encounters. The breakfast was great too and the bed was extremely comfortable. Do be aware that late checkouts after 12PM will be a charge of 15£, which is not ideal for some travelers. Overall a great stay and an amazing location.

Alles, was ich sagen kann, ist, dass sie buchstäblich sicher gemacht, dass ich nicht ablassen und die Zeit durch die Überschreitung und über alles, was sie tun mussten, um meinen Aufenthalt schön zu machen nach meinem Fehler ......Das Essen war wunderschön und auch alles war wie es in den Bildern war, wenn nicht besser etwas für sich selbst zu sehen, sollte man vorwärts gehen und einen Aufenthalt ....... buchen

Aannamimi體驗非常好的一家酒店，入住時送了歡迎卡及紅酒，離店時送了奶酪及配奶酪的小餅乾及無花果醬，冰箱裏的飲料及啤酒免費喝，每天客房打掃非常乾淨，每天臨睡前還會把瓶裝水、玻璃杯放在床頭，另外在被角放一衹脣膏和一衹助眠香氛。據説是巴斯唯一一家有天然温泉的酒店，泡温泉的感受很好，身體很多部位都可以噴水按摩，泡完温泉還有幹蒸、濕蒸、紅外蒸。房間的被子很舒服，輕便且保暖，應該是鵝絨的。英式早餐，奶茶不錯👍
可以改進的地方是衞生間洗澡不是乾濕分離，很小心地洗完澡地上依然很多水！
地理位置非常好，就在巴斯浴場和巴斯修道院附近，周邊餐飲也很多。
前台的一位年輕帥哥母親是中國香港人，會説點中文，下次入住巴斯還會選擇這家酒店🏨

I booked this hotel in Bath through trip.com. I took advantage of two promotions on the platform: a £5.99 railcard purchase and £5 off train tickets, both requiring booking a European hotel within 26 days through trip.com. Considering that the official website’s prices were quite similar, I went with the trip.com booking. I reserved a cozy room for 1 adult without breakfast for £113. Money-saving tip: I used TopCashback to access trip.com, earning $7.67 cashback for this booking. After I checked out, trip.com triggered an immediate discount of £10.46, which I applied to my next train ticket purchase.

This hotel falls under the Marriott Tribute Portfolio, embracing a boutique hotel approach. The entire establishment dates back to 1739, boasting a historic exterior. It’s conveniently situated just about 3 minutes’ walk from the Roman Baths and across from Sally Lunn’s. With my Marriott Platinum Card, even with a third-party reservation, the hotel upgraded us to a larger ground floor room facing the street after matching our account, but it’s not advisable due to potential noise. They also offered complimentary à la carte breakfast. Breakfast slots had to be reserved during check-in, and we chose a table at 10 AM. The breakfast was abundant, and the restaurant had a charming and lovely atmosphere. The experience was excellent (the best things are free!). Unfortunately, I don’t have space for more photos, but I’ll post one of the restaurant later.
The room was quite small, designed in a modern British style, with a movie-themed decor according to the posters on the wall. All the amenities were provided, with local brand toiletries available for purchase at the front desk for £25 for two bottles. They were decent, but nothing extraordinary to consider bringing back home. The minibar had coffee, various teas, semi-skimmed milk packets, and biscuits. The bottled still water was in an aesthetically pleasing canned form.
🌟 There’s an Elemis sleep kit on the bedside: temple balm/sleep mist/eye cream, placed over a hotel postcard, looking quite exquisite.
The bed was very comfortable.
❌ However, there were a few drawbacks to this place… a bit unnerving… I’m not sure if I just had bad luck. The hotel corridors were somewhat confusing, and I accidentally opened the wrong room door once using my own room card. Strangely, the next day around ten o’clock, while I was in the bathroom and my son was on the bed, despite securing the latch on our door, someone managed to open it slightly, presumably seeing my son on the bed, and then closed the door. Perhaps it was a housekeeping staff member wanting to clean the room? Regardless, it felt quite odd… a little unsettling, to be honest

AAnonymer BenutzerAufgrund der Straßenverschließung dauerte uns 5 Minuten Fahrt 25 Minuten statt dorthin zu bekommen und es war ziemlich schwierig in der Dunkelheit.
Das Hotel selbst war ok, ein wenig veraltet. Ich fand das Frühstück ziemlich teuer, obwohl alles, was Sie essen können, nicht sicher, es war wert £50 für 2 Morgen.

LLiam and JennyAttended on Tuesday 27th Feb. Paid a little extra for room with a bath as like the couple ****** we are, we wanted a bath in Bath. My wife's first time ever visiting here. The hotel is a lovely setting, there is history here and all the staff have been wonderful. Close to the station, literally in front of it, and close to everything. Had the great pleasure of having many encounters with Tim, one of the reception staff and I believe concierges. Super pleasant and always helpful.
We had breakfast included and after having that this morning can honestly say it's bang for your buck, with hot food to order including steak and eggs, (best steak my wife has had in the UK), a breakfast grill and a selection of others plus a typical selection of baked goods and fruits. The bar is pleasant and we enjoyed drinks last night before heading up to our room. Strawberry daiquiri we have had many times but the Amaretto sour was an interesting twist with a strong lemon zest.
The only downside to the visit would be the bath/shower experience. Lukewarm bath and cold shower when we attempted it last night. This morning we got hot water for a total of ten mins to share before it went cold again. Not the worst thing all in all but a downside considering the extra pricing for a bathtub room. I was however assured that had I brought it to the desks attention I would have been assisted and I had just done the British thing of not wanting to fuss.
One last perk that made an impact to me; free luggage storage. We checked out early so we could make the best of our time exploring Bath before we ride home. We were offered free luggage storage for even after we checked out so we could come back in quick before our train at 3pm and grab our bags and go, no extra charge. Fantastically useful as the Abbey tour does not allow luggage inside and we wanted to go.
Anyway, thank you to Tim and all the staff at The Royal for making us feel welcomed and our time there special, we will definitely be coming back someday soon and will stay again. - Liam and Jenny Stephenson, Room 109.

GGuest UserPositive - hervorragende Empfangsmann (Vipin) und ohne seine Hilfe hätte ich wahrscheinlich früh geprüft. Hat Parkplatz. Vernünftige Lage und Zugang zum Zentrum des Bades. Hat eine elektrische Kessel und ein Paket von Cookies.
Nicht so positiv - In dringender Notwendigkeit, die Bodenspitzen zu schaffen, das Bad außerhalb des Badezimmers waschen. Es ist nicht für arbeitsbezogene Reisende, da Sie nicht einmal ein Eisen verwenden können, ohne den gesamten Gebäude-Hauptschalter abzuschieben und wenn das geschieht, gibt es keine 24-Stunden-Aktive Rezeption. Kein Fan oder Eisen im Zimmer, so müssen Sie fragen. Kleine Computer-Monitor verwendet als Make-Switch-TV, die Sie aus einem Schrank ziehen müssen. Kein Trinkwasser im Zimmer. Wert für Geld gibt es nicht so viele bessere Orte verfügbar zu gleichen oder niedrigeren Preis.
