Brilliant hotel, friendly staff. Check in stated after 4pm but checked in earlier at 2pm. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Ideal hotel to book in bath as it’s walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. Hotel allowed us to keep out luggage after check in as we were still sigh seeing till late afternoon. Will definitely book again if I plan to return to the area.

8 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof Bath SPA entfernt, wirklich schöner Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Freundliches Personal, tolles Frühstück, saubere Zimmer und eine praktische und komfortable Lounge. Nur wenige Gehminuten bis ins Stadtzentrum von Bath und Starbucks ist gleich um die Ecke. Werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Central location helps to overcome the cramped feeling staying in the annexe. The car was parked at the other end of town and drop off was difficult to say the least but it is what it is. I had no reason whatsoever to check out the main building reception, breakfast area perhaps a bar and lounge area too because nothing pointed me there! So generally, it was a room in a loft space built to an ”average” measure. I never like shower cubicles where I tend to bang elbows and worry about breaking something when I drop the soap. Breakfast price was horrendous so no inclination to walk in on the hop to check it out for the 2 nights stayed. I felt detached, cramped and in a bed-sit like accommodation. It is what it is.

The hotel is an incredible building which must take some maintenance. We booked a double room for one night and arrived at lunchtime with the intention of sightseeing in bath for a couple of days. The hotel was happy for us to park all day both days which was great. The check in process (after 3pm) was very easy and we had a very clean room with plenty of towels, 2 robes and slippers for the spa/pool. The double room had a king size bed which was very comfortable. The hotel pool was crowded and looking a little tired but was as expected. The outside heated pool was very nice and relaxing. We didn’t have any spa treatments or use the gym but both looked well kept and the gym had good modern equipment. We didn’t eat in the restaurant preferring to find a restaurant in bath itself. Breakfast was a bit of a chaotic affair with several hotel staff doing various jobs with no apparent coordination. The wait for a table, then coffee was long and then we had to wait again to order breakfast. The whole process of breakfast took well over an hour which is poor. It was clear that there was no clear process as some tables were getting their cooked breakfast before us even though we were taken to our table 30 mins before them. The little waiter man with his paper pad was a bit useless. When the ‘full English’ breakfast came it was a small plate of well cooked food but not really as described in the menu. In terms of portion size it was more like a kids breakfast. We weren’t served any toast either and had to ask for it unlike other tables who received it with their drinks order which seemed a bit weird. The continental buffet was a bit scarce with no bowls or spoons so we had to use our fruit juice glasses for the yogurt and fruit. The whole thing could be improved with a breakfast buffet under a hot plate if they haven’t got enough staff to serve it.

Das Hotel liegt auf einem Hügel oben außerhalb der Stadt Bath, bietet das, was wir für einen Nachtaufenthalt benötigt haben. Das einzige Hemdgewebe ist, dass wir in die Stadt zum Abendessen fahren mussten, da wir etwas anderes wollten als das Hotelrestaurant. Neben der Lage waren wir froh mit unserem Aufenthalt.

Das Abbey Hotel Bad war so bequem mit sehr hilfsbereitem und freundlichem Personal gelegen. Wir buchten einen zusätzlichen Tag und sie waren so hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war wunderschön, das Bett bequem und ich würde jedem empfehlen, dort zu bleiben. Es liegt in der Nähe der Abbey, der Romanen Badeort, Sally Lunn’s Buns und viele schöne Geschäfte und Gebäude. Ein wunderschöner und wunderschöner Ort, um während des Besuchs von Bath zu bleiben!

Amazing experience and great receptionist talking Spanish Eduardo and her Colleague from Chiclayo Perú(I don't remember the name, I am sorry) and the rest of colleagues has been very kind and helpful all the time. Of course I am going to recommend this hotel to my friends.

Es wird von drei Familien erwachsenen Personen verwendet, einschließlich Frühstück. Das Zimmer ist wunderschön und einzigartig, und mein Sohn hat spannende zusätzliche Speisen verwendet, wie ein verstecktes Zimmer. Es gibt ein Spiel. Unser Paar hat ein Doppelbett. Beim Frühstück können Sie Benedikt-Eier, Eier in der Schale, gebratene Eier und Eierblätter wählen, die alle sehr lecker sind. Die Rezeption ist auch sehr freundlich und der Kundenservice ist sehr bescheiden. Bitte besuchen Sie den Henryetta Park direkt außerhalb des Hotels. Wenn Sie Glück haben, können Sie die Songs sehen. Sie können einen Waldschrank waschen und die Mühe der Reise befreien!

Attended on Tuesday 27th Feb. Paid a little extra for room with a bath as like the couple ****** we are, we wanted a bath in Bath. My wife's first time ever visiting here. The hotel is a lovely setting, there is history here and all the staff have been wonderful. Close to the station, literally in front of it, and close to everything. Had the great pleasure of having many encounters with Tim, one of the reception staff and I believe concierges. Super pleasant and always helpful. We had breakfast included and after having that this morning can honestly say it's bang for your buck, with hot food to order including steak and eggs, (best steak my wife has had in the UK), a breakfast grill and a selection of others plus a typical selection of baked goods and fruits. The bar is pleasant and we enjoyed drinks last night before heading up to our room. Strawberry daiquiri we have had many times but the Amaretto sour was an interesting twist with a strong lemon zest. The only downside to the visit would be the bath/shower experience. Lukewarm bath and cold shower when we attempted it last night. This morning we got hot water for a total of ten mins to share before it went cold again. Not the worst thing all in all but a downside considering the extra pricing for a bathtub room. I was however assured that had I brought it to the desks attention I would have been assisted and I had just done the British thing of not wanting to fuss. One last perk that made an impact to me; free luggage storage. We checked out early so we could make the best of our time exploring Bath before we ride home. We were offered free luggage storage for even after we checked out so we could come back in quick before our train at 3pm and grab our bags and go, no extra charge. Fantastically useful as the Abbey tour does not allow luggage inside and we wanted to go. Anyway, thank you to Tim and all the staff at The Royal for making us feel welcomed and our time there special, we will definitely be coming back someday soon and will stay again. - Liam and Jenny Stephenson, Room 109. Die Lage ist nicht sehr bequem und nicht sicher, warum aber die Busse, die vor dem Hostel halten, nicht auf der Google-Karte oder Apple-Karte zeigen, so dass ich erst nach der Ankunft des Hostels fand dort direkt Busse. Aber statt Busse zu nehmen, empfehle ich sehr, ins Stadtzentrum zu gehen, da Sie durch ein wunderschönes Graslandfeld gehen. Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig, gemütlich und ruhig. Sehr empfohlen!
