We stayed at Kuolanting Inn for two nights and had a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by three friendly women. Although language was sometimes a barrier, we always felt well taken care of. The hosts patiently used a translator whenever we needed anything, which made communication smooth and reassuring. Mr. Gang was exceptional. Even before our arrival, he provided us with all the information we needed. He managed all our transportation—from Harbin to Snow Village and back to Harbin—and even arranged our transfers between Snow Village and Snow Town seamlessly. During our stay, he joined us in activities and recorded our moments using his 360° camera, which was such a thoughtful and special touch. The lady who cooked for us was lovely, and every meal she prepared was absolutely delicious. We felt full, comfortable, and genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Would I recommend this place? Certainly,yes!

Service: very good. They reply really fast and really helpful. Before, during and after the staying, they really helpfull. Activity: they prepare activity for free which is tanghulu making and water splash ( which trow water and it turn into ice for great picture) The surrounding: the view is really pretty and it near convinient store and restaurants. Infront of the hotel have place to play snow, it not beside the main road so it safe to play there. U can walk around at night and take pretty picture. Extra service (talk to the owner, not include with hotel price, need to pay extra): 1. we need to eat halal food. Since there no halal restaurant here, the hotel cook for us (lunch & dinner) 2. They help us book transport from harbin city to here and from here to harbin city 3. They help us book the horse ride to watch the scenery

Wir waren fünf große und zwei kleine Familien. Sobald wir in den Gästezimmern waren, kam der Boss und holte uns aus dem Auto. Es gibt ein wenig Gepäck, aber der Boss war sehr enthusiastisch und hat uns geholfen. In den Gästezimmern ist das Zimmer unerwartet groß und die übrigen vier Personen können noch Feuer verbrennen. Nach dem Aufenthalt hat der Boss direkt die Leute für uns einen Grill und einen Kleidung geliefert, die Kinder nicht essen, oder der Boss lehrt, wie man essen soll. Das Badezimmer ist sauber und es ist neu dekoriert. Die Lieblingsfenster im Zimmer, neben dem Schnee, ist sehr groß, man kann die Schneelandschaft draußen und die Landschaft im Dorf sehen. Das Abendessen ist direkt im Gasthaus zu essen. Die Speisen im Menü sind nicht teuer, wir sind vier Leute, die zwei Speisen bestellen, genug zu essen. Das Gericht ist sehr groß, der Boss hat sehr gute Handhabung und der Knochen wird uns vorab fragen, was wir wollen. Die Gäste bieten kostenlos warmes Wasser für das Eis, und Kinder spielen Schneespielzeug, die Schnee draußen spielen, die Kinder spielen sehr glücklich, der Boss hat uns auch Fotos gemacht. Ich mag die Atmosphäre der Gastgeber, hier erleben Sie die Begeisterung der Menschen im Nordosten.

After taking 5 hours Journey on a 40 seater public bus that cost me 100 yuan i arrived at a beautiful homestay run by family, the homestay is the 1st at the entrance of the village. Room is comfortable with huge bed and heated bed and floor, eventhou the bed is just a thin mattress (its call a Kang Bed) but i still can sleep soundly every night. Only things need to change is the toilet because our toilet bowl is right at the center so i cant shower or use the basin (no space to stand)😀 They provide toothbrush and disposable face towel only so you have to bring your own towel and toiletries. Restaurant, reception counter and living room are together, this is a place for the owner and all guests to have meal and gathering. You will see them all day at the living room. We also have some activities such as making tanghulu (fruits coated with syrup), making dumpling and just chit chat eating popcorn and frozen persimmon and pear. Food is so yummy, no need to eat outside because you can order from this homestay. Breakfast is free. Its a simple and healthy- plain porridge, bun and pickles. The northern people are not so much into sugary or fancy drinks, even like tea or coffees. plain hot water is what they had most of the time. Lunch and dinner you can choose from their menu. Few activities you can do in town such as walk around town and enjoy the beautiful scenery like what i did, i also took the sleight horse (200 yuan) to go to the national forest and also stroll along the river for sightseeing. If u want to have ski, snow mobile, tubing there are 2 private own mini park that you can go just by walking distance 5-15 minutes. There is a bigger park Rime Ridge, also known as Wu Song Ling, is a place in Harbin, China where you can see rime and snow scenery, and participate in winter activities this will cost 400 yuan. At night there will be campfire and singing at the village. You can join for free. Go for a walk at night to see lots of villagers selling foods by the road side. I also enjoyed experimenting the ‘boiling water thrown into the sky’ ..beautiful effect from the ice steam. Most important please bring extra cash incase the alipay not working you will still have money. There is no bank or atm machine in the village. Its all solely depending on online payment such as allipay/wechat. I have problem with my alipay payment and I didn’t bring much cash so i cant spend so much at the village. The homestay owner knew about my problem so she worry i dont have enough money to eat so she cook meals for me FREE.. such a nice person. We love staying at Snow Village so much and decided to stay there for 4D3N. Chosen Xinfu Inn after long consideration. We are family of 6 with young kids so we prioritize a place where kids can enjoy playing snow to the fullest. The view was so nice. There is frozen river in front of the inn and a hill at the back of the inn with the snow slides made by the host with a nice landscaping. The host really helpful and treated us like their family-guest. Communication before the stay and during the stay was using WeChat and Google translate 😅. They helped to book bus from Harbin-Xuegu (Snow Village), pay direct to them (CN¥80 one way) using Alipay. They have 2 inns. The first room we booked was the new inn which around 800metres from the main inn. The new inn has modern kang bed and toilet but no play area and lawn to play snow, we have decided to move to the main inn and the host and hostess are happy to move us to the main inn. But the room in the main inn more traditional. The kang bed using old fashioned heating method - wood-burning-stove with bricks that retain the heat. It was very hot with just a layer of thick quilts. Feels like a hot sauna when laying on it. So we can't really sleep at night when the heat still ”fresh”, especially at the side of the bed where the wood is burned. If you sleep at the end of the bed it is much better. And for us personally with one layer of quilt the bed is so hard and not comfortable but it is good experience to live like the locals. The kids really love the snow slides built by the host at the back of the inn. Since we are Muslim, we informed the hostess to prepare food that we can eat - rice, eggs and tofu. The hostess all really understanding and always friendly and loves to play with the kids. The host helped took a nice picture of us with firework but we missed to have a picture playing hot water turned ice. The host helped to book a bus to Snow Town on the third day. Departed at 1pm and back to the Snow Village at 8pm. All the charted bus from Harbin or to Snow Town will come pickup at the front of the inn. Really convenient. We did not go to Wusonglin, instead we went to the local play area where we can play anytime anyday with only one time entrace fees. It just besides the new inn and there are skis, snowboard, snow mobile, ice skating and many mores. With kids, it is really recommended. We truly enjoyed staying at Xinfu inn and will come back in future maybe in other seasons to enjoy the view of the river.

Wuchang Snow Valley verglichen mit Xuexiang Snow Town. Buchen Sie unser charteriertes Auto durch den Innkeeper für RMB2400 für 3 Tage Harbin- Wuchang Snow Valley - Xuexiang Snow Town - Volga Manor. Das Inn hat keine Badewanne geliefert, so dass ich Ihnen empfehle, Ihre eigene Badewanne zu bringen. Sie können nur kleine Gesichtshandtücher. Der Ort wird von der Familie geführt.. Sie sind so nett.. Wir haben am Abend Bilder in der Nähe des Innenhofs gemacht oder der Vater spielt das Rundfeuer für uns, um Bild in der Nacht zu nehmen. Am Morgen des nächsten Tages buchen wir eine Reise nach Wu Song Ling für RMB400/pax von dem Innkeeper Sohn, den wir ihm Titi nennen (junger Bruder).. Es war die lustigste und erinnereligste Aktivitäten unserer gesamten Harbin-Reise von 8 Tagen.. Wandern in der Schneejungel war das Beste, was wir geliebt haben. Titi hat uns auch Ski lehrt, aber ich spreche nicht Chinesisch, so dass ich die Anweisung nicht verstehen kann. Ich habe aufgegeben, zu schlimmen auf meinem dritten Fall hahaha ... Insgesamt empfehlen wir Ihnen, Snow Valley für natürliche Snow-Experienzen zu besuchen.

The host was warm and helpful, always asking where I wanted to go and driving us there. Since i were alone, the host may not have realized that i needed breakfast, so i should have asked first. However, overall, the host was kind and provided me with the best advice. Thank you.

Das Glücklichste an unserer Reise nach Xuegu war die Wahl dieses Gasthauses! Die Gastfreundschaft der Familie des Besitzers ist die typische Herzlichkeit der Nordostchinesen. Sie haben uns nicht nur proaktiv bei der Planung unserer Tour zum Wusongling geholfen und Tickets reserviert, sondern uns auch das „Eis-Spritz-Erlebnis“ gezeigt. Zum Neujahr haben wir gemeinsam Feuerwerk gezündet und kandierte Haws gegessen. Selbst für unseren frühen Morgen auf der Piste haben sie uns ein Lunchpaket gepackt, sodass wir uns um nichts kümmern mussten. Die Zimmer waren eine echte Überraschung: neu renoviert, top ausgestattet, Fußbodenheizung und ein beheiztes Kang-Bett waren so warm, dass wir keine dicke Kleidung brauchten. Die Bettwäsche war sauber und duftete frisch, und die Dusche hatte reichlich heißes Wasser. Ein besonderes Lob geht an das Eisengusstopf-Gericht – es war butterweich und so geschmackvoll, das beste, das wir auf unserer ganzen Reise gegessen haben. Nach dem Essen gab es kostenlos gefrorene Birnen und gefrorene Kakis zur Erfrischung. Das Gasthaus liegt günstig, direkt vor der Tür liegt eine wunderschöne Schneelandschaft, und man kann traditionelle Baumwolljacken anziehen, um Fotos zu machen. Abends war es ruhig und friedlich, sodass wir wunderbar schlafen konnten. Egal, ob man alleine oder mit Freunden reist, hier fühlt man sich wie zu Hause. Beim nächsten Mal in Xuegu werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten!

The owner and staff were great. Just the room's toilet will have a water puddle after the shower. The water flow can be improved. Overall it was a great stay! Managed to do dumpling and bingtanghulu. 😊

VLFKLTREXS WANAFKLTCS The house was quite modern with key card access. Clean, appropriate room size, but my room was bad smelled of cigarette, coming from the dining area. The room had necessary amenities, but no towels. They provided disposable towel instead. There were a dining area and karaoke. I chose this place because I wanted to soak in a hot spring in sub-zero temperatures after long journey from the city and several hours walking in Snow Town. It was very relaxing. The breakfast was good with varieties. The area around the house was nice for walking and taking pictures. The staff here were not very talkative or attentive, unlike other homestays which were run by local families.
