Nestled on the quieter side of the ancient town, it is close to many famous temples. The service provided by the staff was impeccable! There are 2 breakfast options, both of which are equally sumptuous. Guests staying for 3 nights receive complimentary transport to the train station or airport. A hidden gem indeed, I had a very pleasant stay!

Ich übernachte immer hier, wenn ich geschäftlich in Quanzhou bin. Es liegt in der Nähe des Geschäftsreiseziels, ist bequem mit dem Hochgeschwindigkeitszug zu erreichen und bietet einen Wäscheservice. Es ist wirklich eine gute Wahl für längere Geschäftsreisen und ich werde es auch in Zukunft empfehlen.

Das Personal war freundlich und willkommen, und ich mag die Architektur des Hotels, die traditionelle chinesische Elemente mit modernem Design schön vermischt. Das Zimmer war geräumig und komfortabel, und das Hotel befindet sich in der alten Stadt, so dass es sehr bequem für Einkaufen und Fußexploration. Eines ist, dass es etwas weniger bequem sein kann, ein Cab zu nehmen, da Autos nicht in bestimmte Bereiche erlaubt sind und Fahrer müssen kurze Entfernungen vom Hotel zu stoppen. Es gibt auch ein schönes Dach, wo Sie die coole Abendbrise und die Aussichten am Abend genießen können, was ein großer Bonus war. Freie Dessert auch jeden Abend!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They provided useful itinerary suggestions, and food recommendations. As a foreign guest, the staff proactively shared their WeChat ID and it’s recommended to share yours as well, as they are cautious about scams. Communication through WeChat was smooth and very helpful. A RMB 200 deposit is required, but as a foreigner there was no issue with the transaction. They were also kind enough to help me operate the washing machine, which I really appreciated. The room was clean and well-kept. The bed was comfortable, and I especially liked the pillow—it suited my preference well. One small thing to note is that it took a bit of time to figure out how to maintain a consistent shower temperature, as it would sometimes be too hot or too cold. Also worth mentioning: part of my room had a low ceiling. You’ll need to be careful when standing up—I bumped my head a few times during my stay 😅. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable experience with very attentive service. I would still recommend this homestay, especially for travelers who value helpful staff and local guidance.

Hotel a little old but still very good. There was a free upgrade for one of the rooms to accommodate an extra bed that was already put in place when we arrived, which was fantastic. Service was good and fast, the free bottles of water and towels. Toilet could do with better soap though. Breakfast wasn’t the best. Location perfect. Next to plaza and lots of shopping areas

Mein Aufenthalt war sehr gut. Ich habe ein warmes Willkommen von Jasmine erhalten, die während meines Aufenthalts fantastisch war. Sie hält mich auf dem Laufenden und prüfte regelmäßig, ob ich irgendwelche Hilfe benötigt habe. Ich hatte auch ein paar Geschäftspapiere zu drucken, und sie half mir freundlich, sie zu drucken und zu liefern. Die Zimmer waren sauber, geräumig und hatten alles für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück war insgesamt gut, obwohl ich empfehle, eine größere Auswahl an frischen Weidereien hinzuzufügen. Insgesamt war es ein fantastisches Aufenthalt und ich würde sicherlich nochmal bleiben.

Grand Honor Hotel is definitely the best hotel in Shishi, but it’s not quite the same level as a luxury hotel in a bigger city. Generally the hotel is clean, but it’s the little things that I noticed, ie when I checked in, there were some sweet wrappers next to the bowl of sweets that weren’t cleared away. That said, the sense of space is evident in the hotel lobby, lifts, corridors and most importantly, the hotel rooms. Rooms are very spacious and well-designed, although the closet area can definitely do with brighter lights. Most amenities are provided but what put me off is that many items that would have been free in other hotels at this price-range aren’t free at Grand Honor. There is a Chinese tea set on the table and usually the loose leaf tea is provided for free but it cost ¥15 per packet. Honestly it’s not a lot of money for us, but on the flip side, surely the hotel can provide a bag of tea leaves for their guests. There are the standard free single-use packet tea in the drawer so at least there’s that. In-room slippers are not to be taken out; they’d charge you if you do - and that’s fine, but the slippers are actually really uncomfortable to wear. The small plate of fruits (banana, plum and mandarin) given at 5pm every day is a nice touch. The hotel breakfast is probably the highlight. Set on the 22nd floor with panoramic views of the city, breakfast is very enjoyable. The food quality is pretty good, but a real surprise here is the sheer diversity of food. The bread selection alone has 5-6 choices (pastries, brioche, baguette, square toast, etc), the cooked food section is almost endless (and there’s cooked Chinese vegetables! 👏🏾) and then there’s the fruit selection at the end too. My only gripe is that the coffee machine is a bit slow, and there’s only one machine so there can be a wait for coffee. Location of the hotel is a little odd; good restaurants and the main mall is about 15 mins’ walk away. There aren’t many good shops to wander around nearby. Generally, this is a solid hotel for this price point. Excellent service with very fast food delivery (using the ubiquitous delivery robots) and friendly front desk staff.

Das Zimmer ist groß und hell, an der anderen Seite ist der Westsee, das Museum der Tai Tai ist sehr nah, die Weststraße ist sehr bequem, die Wand zerbrochen und empfehlen Busfahrten. Der Hotelservice ist auch sehr nett, das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und der Verkauf von Robotern ist auch schnell (eine schnelle Leuchte ist noch viel). Der Halle ist kostenloser Kaffee, der Burden ist großartig und persönlich hält es für eine zweite Wahl, nach Hangzhou zu fahren.

Mọi thứ đều ở mức cơ bản và tối giản, trang thiết bị kiểu cũ, tuy nhiên cũng không có điểm nào chê, nếu so cùng mức giá này ở Quảng Châu thì ở Quảng Châu tốt hơn nhiều. Nói chung ở ngắn ngày vẫn ok, vì gần trung tâm thương mại, gần sân bay, gần một số chợ nguyên phụ liệu...
