GGastnutzerFloral hotel Nanjing review Hotel has unique character. Located in a private complex so it is quieter with no public car / scooter allowed to get in. Kids are happy playing and running outside the complex. Very clean, quiet and charming area. Location: fantastic location at laomendong old town (3 mins walk to the main old town - all the main actions), 10 mins walk to the city wall. We arrived at night and it was late (11pm) so it was a bit hard to find the accomm. 3 luggages and 2 kids made it hard-but I imagine using taxi outside the airport would make it easier and more convenience. The taxi will drop you off just outside the complex. It was 2 mins walk to the hotel. The hotel is easily found inside the complex. Check in process is super easy. To travel around, there are 2 metro stations you can use. We usually use the wumending stations - around 15-25 mins walk depending on the kids mood. However we never have problem commutting. The walk to the station is dotted with shops (food, snacks, convenience stores). Room: Clean, spacious and modern A family of four. We have plenty of space. Amenities are very modern. Plenty of storage space inside the toilet for your toileteries. Bed is massive (king size) and comfortable. We booked 2 beds to accommodate our family. Daily housekeeping and water bottles replacement. Communication: The owner will add you on wechat on check in day. All communication can be done via wechat. The translation app in wechat is a god sent. The staff has minimal english - but we dont have any problem communicating through wechat conversation. You can ask them for information etc through wechat. They will reply straight away. Services: Impeccable, above and beyond. The owner and all of the staffs are super helpful. Always keen to help. The owner took and showed us the restaurants around laomendong which are worth going - as there are plenty of restaurants around the areas. Because it is a boutique hotel, the service is very personalised. Breakfast: Set meal for breakfast every morning. Serve at 8am. It is not buffee with hundreds of selections but they give you healthy and nourishing breakfast. We stay there for 4 days and everyday is different menu. We absolutely enjoy our breakfast. Bits and pieces: There is a friendly and well behaved corgi dog inside the residence. My kids are generally scared of dog but they could not help themselves petting and playing with the dog. They missed the dog when we left Nanjing. I ve seen other hotels in major areas when we walked around. But the street is very busy and wont suit us. Also hotels in cbd areas - no character surrounding the cbd. It would be perfect for business people but I think this hotel is very suited for leisure and family. The hotel provide laundry service too. You just need to drop it off to front desk. They will wash, dry and fold them for you!!! My daughter vomitted on our second night. The sheets would be stained from the vomit but they did not charge us for the damage. The hotel can order you taxi if you dont have didi apps for taxi. My didi apps did not work as i did not set it up properly back home. You dont even need to pay the taxi driver either-they will sort it out and the hotel will charge you later. The price might be a bit higher than the surrounding hotels, however its definately worth every penny. In conclusion: Your accommodation choice can really impact your trip. Floral hotel has been amazing and I believe this hotel was an excellent choice for family / leisure trip. We really enjoy our Nanjing trip because of Floral Hotel. Thank you Floral hotel for everything and we will definately stay at your hotel again next time we come to visit Nanjing.

ZZhaogeshijianjiuyaowanDies ist mein zweiter Aufenthalt! Ich habe dieses Hotel aufgrund seiner Lage, Ausstattung und seines Services ausgewählt! Sauberkeit: Der Bodenbelag im Zimmer war gepflegt und sauber, ohne die allergischen Reaktionen, die ich sonst bei Teppichboden hätte. Er wurde jeden Morgen gereinigt und bei Bedarf gewartet. Ausstattung: Bad und Dusche sind getrennt, was für einen trockenen, komfortablen Raum sorgt. Der in die Badezimmerdecke integrierte Duschkopf sorgte für angenehmes Duschen. Das Waschbecken ist geräumig und befindet sich in der Nähe des Eingangs. Das Bett war bequem. Der Schreibtisch, die Minibar und zwei Stühle – einfache und praktische Annehmlichkeiten – machten den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer. Service: Da ich Lärm scheue, wurde mir freundlicherweise ein Zimmer im 9. Stock zugewiesen. Es war sehr ruhig und die Schallisolierung war hervorragend für mich. Ambiente: Das Ambiente war insgesamt sehr schön. Das tägliche Frühstücksbuffet bot sowohl chinesische als auch westliche Gerichte, darunter Spezialitäten aus Tianjin und Nanjing. Ich habe die Entenblut-Fadennudelnsuppe drei Tage lang genossen! Wasser und andere Getränke können jederzeit nachgefüllt werden, sodass ich einige Tage lang kein Wasser kaufen musste. Das Personal an der Rezeption war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe von Ausgang 20 der U-Bahn-Station Xinjiekou und ganz in der Nähe von Deji.

Da das Hotel das Zimmer bei Ihrer Ankunft noch nicht aufgeräumt hatte, haben wir Ihnen ein kostenloses Frühstück geschenkt. Insgesamt ist das Wohnerlebnis recht gut und die Transportmöglichkeiten sind auch sehr bequem. Nehmen Sie die U-Bahn von Nanjing South nach Hedingqiao für zwei Haltestellen. Sie können durch den unterirdischen Gang vom Ausgang 2A direkt zum Hotel gelangen, ohne dem ausgesetzt zu sein Sonne.

I felt a sense of excitement that I haven’t felt at many other hotels or resorts in Nanjing. One highlight was watching the staff perform a K-pop dance—it was a fun and memorable surprise! As a foreigner, communication was smooth and easy. All the staff spoke both Chinese and English fluently, which made everything more comfortable. Checking in alone with my two young children was a bit challenging, but I’m especially thankful to Kelly at the front desk for her kind and thoughtful help. I’ll definitely be coming back again! .

GGastnutzer## Lage Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, direkt am Qinhuai-Fluss-Szenengebiet gelegen. Man muss nur die Tür hinaus, links abbiegen und schon ist man direkt gegenüber vom Eingang des Touristenviertels. Das Hotel wirkt von außen nicht riesig, aber die Einrichtung ist ansprechend. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer gebucht, aber das Zimmer verfügt über ein ausklappbares Sofa, das sich zu einem Bett umfunktionieren lässt. Das ist ideal für Familien mit Kindern – ein großer Pluspunkt! ## Sauberkeit Die Zimmer waren sauber. ## Ausstattung Das Hotelfrühstück verdient ein großes Lob! Obwohl es kein Buffet war, sondern à la carte serviert wurde, war der Geschmack wirklich hervorragend. Ehrlich gesagt, war es besser als das Frühstück in den Hotels, in denen wir später übernachteten. Die Suppe der Yangchun-Nudeln war eine Rinderknochenbrühe, und auch das englische Frühstück war sehr lecker. Man konnte sogar Nachschlag bestellen – definitiv ein Highlight. Es gab jedoch auch einen negativen Punkt: Das Hotel verfügt über keinen Waschraum. Die Waschmaschine auf der Dachterrasse sah leider nicht sehr vertrauenerweckend aus, sodass wir unsere Wäsche im Zimmer von Hand waschen mussten. In diesem Punkt hinkt das Hotel im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Hotels in derselben Preisklasse etwas hinterher. ## Service Der Service war hervorragend, fast schon wie ein Butler-Service. Probleme mit dem WLAN oder dem Screen Mirroring im Zimmer wurden umgehend gelöst, und Dienstleistungen wie das Beziehen der Betten wurden auf Abruf prompt und gewissenhaft ausgeführt.

GGastnutzerDas Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich und hat uns sogar ein Upgrade auf ein Kingsize-Zimmer ermöglicht. Obwohl das Hotel sehr zentral gelegen ist, war es überraschend ruhig und wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Die Betten waren äußerst bequem. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier buchen. Die Lage ist fantastisch: Der Qinhuai-Fluss ist direkt vor der Tür. In der Umgebung gibt es unzählige Restaurants. Wir haben dort unter anderem Krabbenrogennudeln, Barbecue, Entenblut-Suppennudeln und Dampfnudeln genossen.

GGastnutzerOur trip to Nanjing left us with beautiful memories and a very positive impression. Largely attributable to the very pleasant stay at Swisstouches Hotel. We stayed in the suite from end May to early June. 1. Very clean and comfortable suite - About one of the most comfortable rooms I have had stayed in recent memory. Spacious, clean, well - kept, well - maintained. Reasonably priced. Whole place smelled good, no hint of musky odour, no tobacco smell, children had zero issue with allergy. Sound proofing was great. I do wish the kitchenette is better equipped with microwave oven, utensils and simple crockery. Not that we cook in the room, but I guess it is more convenient to have simple utensils available in the kitchenette. 2. Courteous, attentive and responsive service - Reception was courteous, patient and reliable. Restaurant staff were obliging and prompt (requests were attended to promptly, room cleaning staff were responsible and detailed. (I accidentally left the Do-Not-Disturb sign on, they left a note reminding me about that, and took the initiative to return in the evening to clean up the room - all without any request from me. I thought of just going letting the room cleaning pass for 1 day). Such conscientious work attitude is hard to come by. 3. Food was hygienic and ample - The buffet breakfast was amply stocked and spread was decent. Not an emperor's feast, but way enough to surpass expectations for most people. 4. Location was decent, safe - The hotel is situated in the outskirts of Nanjing city. So you get the tranquil, but you wont have the hustle and bustle. There are convenience stores and eateries well within a stone's throw. Ride hailing taxis are easily available too. But if you are expecting to walk to the tourist spots, you will have to stay in the heart of the city. I personally prefer a location like Swisstouches' . 5. Facilities - I only tried the swimming pool and gym. Very decent. Good enough for exercise and workouts during travel. Gym was well equipped, albeit a little messy. But that's more of gym users rather than the set-up. Swimming pool was well maintained and monitored at all times. Great for lane swimming. All in all, fantastic stay. Go back again? Big Yes.

Although check-in was at 3 PM, the staff kindly accommodated us with an early check-in for an additional fee. Accommodation We stayed in two types of rooms during our visit: Single Room - Spacious and located in a peaceful, quiet area of the property. RV Room - Situated near the camping area where families and friends gather around a large bonfire for singing, BBQ, and games. **Ratings** Staff: 8/10 - Friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Shuttle Service: 10/10 - The driver was exceptionally pleasant and always smiling. Since my daughter has asthma and walking long distances is difficult for her, we frequently requested shuttle service between locations. This was especially helpful as ride-share drivers typically drop off at the entrance, which is quite a walk from the rooms and facilities. Breakfast: 10/10 - Excellent variety of traditional Chinese dishes. They were accommodating when my husband requested takeout. Cleanliness: 10/10 - Both rooms were clean, including the beds, towels, and bathrooms. As my daughter’s asthma is triggered by dust, I was pleased that the rooms were clean enough that she didn’t experience any sneezing or symptoms. We all slept well for the entire five days. **Things to Consider** It’s highly recommended to have your own car, as the property is quite far from the city center. If you enjoy nature and outdoor activities, this place is ideal. Activities include: - ATV rides - Fishing area - Playground (note: adults are charged rather than children, so it’s more economical for only one adult to enter) - Small animal area featuring rabbits, ostriches, and llamas (15 RMB entry) - Train ride (30 RMB) The coffee shop has a wonderful atmosphere and aesthetic appeal, making it popular for photos. The property itself is spacious and perfect for leisurely walks. There’s also a temple nearby, approximately 20 minutes away by car. **Challenges We Faced** My daughter developed a fever and experienced diarrhea during our stay. When I called the front desk for help, the staff member wasn’t very accommodating and suggested my husband go buy medicine. This was difficult for us as foreigners who don’t speak the language well. I felt sad and helpless, especially when we couldn’t get any taxis or cabs to pick us up. We wanted to take her to the hospital, but no cabs were available. However, the next morning, a staff member spoke with me who was extremely kind and accommodating. They even offered to drive my daughter to the hospital, which I declined because we needed to catch our train and she was feeling better after taking medicine. They drove us to the South Railway Station and thoughtfully gave my daughter bags and drinks. It was a very kind gesture that we truly appreciated.
