Während der Maifeiertage zog ich mit meiner Familie in das erste Banyan Tree Hotel in Guangdong. Das Hotel verfügt über eine ruhige Umgebung mit Vogelgezwitscher und duftenden Blumen. Sie können auch nachts und am frühen Morgen das Vogelgezwitscher vom Balkon Ihres Zimmers hören, sodass Sie sich so wohl fühlen, als wären Sie im Dschungel. Die Hotelhardware ist komplett und auch die Zimmersoftware ist vorhanden. Ich bin mit dem Service des Hotels sehr zufrieden. Am Tag vor dem Check-in rief mich die Haushälterin des Hotels Kelvin an, um mich über die Vorsichtsmaßnahmen vor dem Check-in zu informieren, die Hoteleinrichtungen vorzustellen, Unterhaltungsprojekte zu unterstützen und auch ausdrücklich zu fragen, ob es welche gäbe besondere Check-in-Anforderungen. Am Vorabend des Muttertags und des Jubiläums meines Mannes und mir arrangierte Kelvin im Namen des Hotels sorgfältig Blumensträuße und Grußkarten für die Zimmer der beiden alten Mütter. Er schickte auch Aromatherapie- und Drachenfrucht-Plüschpuppen auf unser Zimmer, um seine Gefühle auszudrücken Segen. Vielen Dank Kelvin für Ihren Service! Neben dem aufmerksamen Service der Haushälterin ist auch der Service aller Servicemitarbeiter im Hotel sehr lobenswert👍. Ein Hotel, in dem es sich lohnt, wieder zu übernachten...!

The location of this hotel is superb. It is only a short walking distance away from the Metro station. Within walking distance are several restaurants which serve excellent meals at reasonable prices. Opposite the hotel is a fresh fruits & vegetables market which is worth visiting. The front office staff are very helpful and will go all out to assist you. They gave useful advice on places to visit and good restaurants to go for meals.

Unfortunately, this seems to be a common issue in many hotels within the region, but it's definitely present and unpleasant here if you're sensitive to it. Breakfast: 1/5 – Strongly Not Recommended / Unhygienic Avoid the breakfast option. Hygiene standards here are very poor. I personally observed small cockroaches crawling on the tables in the breakfast area. This is completely unacceptable and a major health red flag. Do yourself a favor and skip it entirely. Thankfully, with McDonald's, Luckin, the mall food court, and the fantastic night market opposite, you have plenty of much better (and cleaner) alternatives nearby. Overall: This hotel is all about the location, location, location. If being in a super convenient, vibrant area with easy access to food, coffee, and shopping is your top priority, and you're on a budget, it serves that purpose. This is my second time staying at Kande Hotel. I typically stay for about 14 days each trip, so I have had plenty of time to really settle in and appreciate the experience. The location is incredibly convenient, right in the heart of Dongguan and close to everything you might need. What surprised me, though, is how quiet the rooms are despite being in the city center. There is no traffic noise or street disturbance, which makes a real difference when you are traveling for work and need to rest. The staff are excellent. They are friendly and professional, but what stands out is that they actually remember my preferences from my previous stay. Those small touches go a long way when you are there for an extended period. I also appreciate the pillow menu. I personally cannot sleep without a memory foam pillow, so having that option is a real plus. They also have a robot delivery service for food and parcels. It sounds like a small thing, but it is surprisingly convenient and adds a nice modern touch. The view from the room is beautiful, and breakfast is another highlight. There is always a good variety, but my go to is the 烧鹅濑粉. It is honestly the best I have ever had. Looking forward to my next stay.

Zwar wird gerne Nachschub gebracht, aber bei diesem Hotelstandard sollte das eigentlich nicht nötig sein. Die Minibar ist leider Geschichte – früher gab es eine tolle Auswahl an Snacks, Wein, Bier usw. Jetzt ist es nur noch ein Kühlschrank mit ein paar Flaschen Softdrinks. Apropos Alkohol: Die alte Carmens Bar mit ihren Billardtischen und der entspannten Atmosphäre ist geschlossen und wurde durch eine Lobbybar ersetzt, die eher einem Flaschenmuseum gleicht. Die Beleuchtung ist viel zu hell für eine Bar – es ist quasi Flutlicht. Wer also gemütlich etwas trinken möchte, kann das vergessen. In einem separaten Raum steht ein Servierwagen mit einer guten Auswahl an Spirituosen und Likören. Sie sollten die fast leeren Regale bestücken und zumindest versuchen, die Bar gemütlicher wirken zu lassen. Mein letzter Kritikpunkt: Das Personal in dieser hell erleuchteten Bar zeigt keinerlei Interesse an seiner Arbeit. An beiden Abenden, an denen ich dort war, kein einziges Lächeln, keine Regung. Nur ein leerer Blick, dann wieder zurück zum Handy. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, ebenso das Personal – sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Auch die Rezeption war super. Um jedoch internationalen Standards gerecht zu werden (sie planen, sich bald einer großen Kette anzuschließen), müssen sie ihr Englisch deutlich verbessern.
