GGastnutzerNot close to the train station or lift station. Requires a pretty good uphill walk. About 15-20 min walk uphill from train station, and about 10-15 min walk from the ski lift/gondola. But once you get there, the location is beautiful. The hotel does offer a shuttle/e-car/bus transport. It's quiet, overlooks the town, views of the mountains, perfect secluded space. Hotel is clean, rooms are beautifully designed, compact but functional. Beds are comfortable, loved the rooms. We had a family room which was perfect for our family of four. The family room consists of two separate rooms across from each other in the hallway. In the hallway, there was a private entrance that brought you into the space where the two rooms were located. We loved this, because it turned our hallway between the two rooms into a foyer. Service was attentive and detailed. Loved the welcome beverage at check-in - nice touch, set the tone for the rest of the stay. Bar was cute and menu was creative. Patio deck restaurant was a perfect place for lunch. Amazing view of town and mountains, outdoor kitchen. Restaurant was great - food and service were wonderful. Breakfast was lovely. We do wish they would have changed up a couple things each day, because it was the same thing every day. Pool/Spa area was amazing. It had everything - sauna, steam room, plunge pool, two lounge pools, hot tub, showers. Caution: remember we are in Europe, some people may enter some of the facilities nude. We are personally not accustom to that, so it was definitely a little alarming for our children to see grown adults around naked. It would not be a bad idea for the hotel to have a policy around nudity or at least warn guests at check-in, on the website, or with signage. Wengen was our favorite place we visited on our tour of Switzerland, will be back, and when we come back it will be at this hotel.

Xxiaofei jiaThe front desk staff were very warm and humorous. I checked out during the day and asked them to store my luggage. When I went back to pick it up in the evening to catch the last bus, I was in a hurry. They comforted me, saying there was still time, and gave me a bottle of water. They also wished me a pleasant journey. I was really touched. I wish the hotel would do better and better and the staff would be happy every day.

AAnonymer BenutzerThe Aarburg Hotel & Café is a charming little spot in Interlaken, just a 15-minute walk from Interlaken West train station. While it’s tempting to take the shortcut, I’d recommend sticking to the main road, especially in snowy weather—it’s much easier for pulling luggage.
Check-in was smooth and efficient, but do note there are no lifts in this cozy hotel. Carrying heavy bags up the narrow stairs was a bit of a workout, so pack light if you can.
One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the coffee—it lived up to all the glowing Google reviews. Breakfast was simple but wholesome, with fresh bread, croissants, yogurt, and healthy toppings like dried berries, almonds, and chia seeds. The café is pet-friendly, so don’t be surprised to see a few furry friends around.
The room itself was modest but comfortable. However, as the building is wooden, sounds tend to carry. We wondered if we were bothering other occupants but thankfully, no complaints! The location is peaceful, away from the main road, though the church bells that sound at intervals through the night was a little disturbing on the first night.
With a supermarket near the train station for quick snacks and essentials, this hotel is both convenient and quiet. Perfect for couples looking for a laid-back stay. I’d happily book here again if I return to Interlaken.

Is pleasure of staying at a wonderful hotel that left a lasting impression. From its impeccable design to the delectable breakfast, my experience was delightful overall. Although the weather didn't quite cooperate during my stay, the hotel's fantastic service more than made up for it.
The hotel's interior design is simply stunning. Every aspect of the decor exudes elegance and sophistication. The attention to detail is evident, and it creates a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the premises. The architecture and furnishings are tastefully chosen, providing a luxurious and comfortable ambiance for guests.
One of the highlights of this hotel is undoubtedly the breathtaking view. Unfortunately, I encountered some bad luck with the weather during my stay, which limited my ability to fully enjoy the surroundings. However, even through the mist and rain, I could sense the beauty that lay beyond the hotel's windows. I can only imagine how magical it would be on a clear day.
The service at this hotel is truly exceptional. The staff members are attentive, friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel's commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in every interaction, making the stay truly enjoyable.

SShanshan74Es war mein erster Aufenthalt in einer Jugendherberge und es hat sich sehr gut angefühlt. Die Lage ist gut, nur wenige Schritte vom Bahnhof entfernt. Die Hygiene ist gut. Obwohl die Bäder und Toiletten öffentlich sind, sind sie sehr sauber. Die Rezeption hat eine sehr gute Einstellung und ist sehr rücksichtsvoll bei der Zimmereinteilung. Sie verteilt die Zimmer grundsätzlich nach Ländern. Das Restaurant im Erdgeschoss bietet preisgünstige Tagesmenüs. Volle Punktzahl.

AAnonymer BenutzerBevor ich dorthin ging, habe ich einige negative Bewertungen auf Ctrip gelesen und fühlte mich sehr unwohl. Beim gesamten Check-in-Vorgang traten jedoch nicht die in anderen Bewertungen erwähnten Probleme auf. Alles verlief reibungslos und glücklich. Es wird derzeit von AccorHotels verwaltet und die Rezeption ist sehr freundlich. Ein weiterer sehr netter Concierge-Mitarbeiter führte uns zuerst zu einem Zimmerbesuch und erklärte es ausführlich. Er half uns sofort beim Parken des Autos und schickte unser Gepäck aufs Zimmer. Die Lage ist sehr günstig, man kann Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußläufig erreichen.
Der Gesamtstil des Hotels ist sehr europäisch. Ich muss erwähnen, dass das Frühstück gut schmeckt. Wenn Sie Freunde haben, die früh aufstehen, ist die Option, bei der Zimmerbuchung das Frühstück einzubeziehen, eine sehr kostengünstige Option.

GGastnutzerDas Hotel bietet einen atemberaubenden Ausblick auf das malerische Städtchen Wengen und das Jungfraujoch. Das Personal war überaus zuvorkommend, und der Service entsprach voll und ganz dem Vier-Sterne-Standard. Bei unserer Ankunft informierte uns die Rezeption über das Zimmer-Upgrade und hatte den Zimmerschlüssel bereits vorbereitet, sodass wir schnell einchecken konnten. Ein Begrüßungsschreiben mit unserem Namen und ein paar Willkommenssnacks lagen bereits auf dem Tisch im Zimmer bereit und sorgten für eine herzliche Atmosphäre. Obwohl das Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen war, hatte es eine gemütliche Stimmung. Das Frühstück war ein typisches kontinentales Frühstück, wie es in Europa weit verbreitet ist. Das Hotelrestaurant war ebenfalls sehr gut, preiswert und der Service hervorragend.
