Not close to the train station or lift station. Requires a pretty good uphill walk. About 15-20 min walk uphill from train station, and about 10-15 min walk from the ski lift/gondola. But once you get there, the location is beautiful. The hotel does offer a shuttle/e-car/bus transport. It's quiet, overlooks the town, views of the mountains, perfect secluded space. Hotel is clean, rooms are beautifully designed, compact but functional. Beds are comfortable, loved the rooms. We had a family room which was perfect for our family of four. The family room consists of two separate rooms across from each other in the hallway. In the hallway, there was a private entrance that brought you into the space where the two rooms were located. We loved this, because it turned our hallway between the two rooms into a foyer. Service was attentive and detailed. Loved the welcome beverage at check-in - nice touch, set the tone for the rest of the stay. Bar was cute and menu was creative. Patio deck restaurant was a perfect place for lunch. Amazing view of town and mountains, outdoor kitchen. Restaurant was great - food and service were wonderful. Breakfast was lovely. We do wish they would have changed up a couple things each day, because it was the same thing every day. Pool/Spa area was amazing. It had everything - sauna, steam room, plunge pool, two lounge pools, hot tub, showers. Caution: remember we are in Europe, some people may enter some of the facilities nude. We are personally not accustom to that, so it was definitely a little alarming for our children to see grown adults around naked. It would not be a bad idea for the hotel to have a policy around nudity or at least warn guests at check-in, on the website, or with signage. Wengen was our favorite place we visited on our tour of Switzerland, will be back, and when we come back it will be at this hotel.

The front desk staff were very warm and humorous. I checked out during the day and asked them to store my luggage. When I went back to pick it up in the evening to catch the last bus, I was in a hurry. They comforted me, saying there was still time, and gave me a bottle of water. They also wished me a pleasant journey. I was really touched. I wish the hotel would do better and better and the staff would be happy every day.

The Aarburg Hotel & Café is a charming little spot in Interlaken, just a 15-minute walk from Interlaken West train station. While it’s tempting to take the shortcut, I’d recommend sticking to the main road, especially in snowy weather—it’s much easier for pulling luggage. Check-in was smooth and efficient, but do note there are no lifts in this cozy hotel. Carrying heavy bags up the narrow stairs was a bit of a workout, so pack light if you can. One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the coffee—it lived up to all the glowing Google reviews. Breakfast was simple but wholesome, with fresh bread, croissants, yogurt, and healthy toppings like dried berries, almonds, and chia seeds. The café is pet-friendly, so don’t be surprised to see a few furry friends around. The room itself was modest but comfortable. However, as the building is wooden, sounds tend to carry. We wondered if we were bothering other occupants but thankfully, no complaints! The location is peaceful, away from the main road, though the church bells that sound at intervals through the night was a little disturbing on the first night. With a supermarket near the train station for quick snacks and essentials, this hotel is both convenient and quiet. Perfect for couples looking for a laid-back stay. I’d happily book here again if I return to Interlaken.

Although the weather didn't quite cooperate during my stay, the hotel's fantastic service more than made up for it. The hotel's interior design is simply stunning. Every aspect of the decor exudes elegance and sophistication. The attention to detail is evident, and it creates a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the premises. The architecture and furnishings are tastefully chosen, providing a luxurious and comfortable ambiance for guests. One of the highlights of this hotel is undoubtedly the breathtaking view. Unfortunately, I encountered some bad luck with the weather during my stay, which limited my ability to fully enjoy the surroundings. However, even through the mist and rain, I could sense the beauty that lay beyond the hotel's windows. I can only imagine how magical it would be on a clear day. The service at this hotel is truly exceptional. The staff members are attentive, friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The hotel's commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in every interaction, making the stay truly enjoyable. breakfast was simply delicious! The array of options available was impressive, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. this hotel left a lasting impression on me. The well-designed interiors, the mesmerizing view (even through the rain), the exceptional service, and the mouthwatering breakfast made my stay truly remarkable. If you're looking for a hotel that combines elegance, comfort, and impeccable service, this is the place to be.

Das Hotel bietet einen atemberaubenden Ausblick auf das malerische Städtchen Wengen und das Jungfraujoch. Das Personal war überaus zuvorkommend, und der Service entsprach voll und ganz dem Vier-Sterne-Standard. Bei unserer Ankunft informierte uns die Rezeption über das Zimmer-Upgrade und hatte den Zimmerschlüssel bereits vorbereitet, sodass wir schnell einchecken konnten. Ein Begrüßungsschreiben mit unserem Namen und ein paar Willkommenssnacks lagen bereits auf dem Tisch im Zimmer bereit und sorgten für eine herzliche Atmosphäre. Obwohl das Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen war, hatte es eine gemütliche Stimmung. Das Frühstück war ein typisches kontinentales Frühstück, wie es in Europa weit verbreitet ist. Das Hotelrestaurant war ebenfalls sehr gut, preiswert und der Service hervorragend.

Es liegt direkt am Bahnhof Interlaken Ost, nur 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Es ist wirklich praktisch, um zum Jungfraujoch zu gelangen. Und keine Sorge, wenn Sie morgens keine Zeit haben, Essen zu kaufen. Das Frühstück ist hier inbegriffen. Für die hohen Preise in der Schweiz ist es wirklich großartig

Everything is good except when check out there is only 1 staff working. I would like to suggest during peak hour arrange more staff for handing check in & check out. I almost miss my train to Montreux.

Wir hatten einen so wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Lake Lodge Hotel und lieben unsere Erfahrung hier wirklich. Die Rezeption war absolut erstaunlich so warm, freundlich und wirklich hilfreich. Sie hat uns sehr freundlich von einem Einzelzimmer auf ein Queen-Size-Bettzimmer, das wir tief geschätzt. Seine Gastfreundschaft machte unser Aufenthalt wirklich extra besondere. Das Hotel bietet einen fantastischen Wert für Geld. Unser Zimmer kam mit einem Balkon mit Blick auf den See und die Aussicht ist einfach erstaunlich. In einer goldenen Stunde wird die Landschaft absolut wunderschön. Wachen in dieser ruhigen kleinen Stadt, gegenüber dem ruhigen See und den Bergen, fühlt sich wertlos. Es ist ruhig, schön und wirklich entspannt. Das Angebot Kaffeebrett im Frühstücksbereich ist absolut kostenlos. Migros ist etwa 12 km entfernt, so planen Sie vor, wenn Sie Gepäck brauchen. Es gibt keinen Aufzug im Hotel, aber wir haben nicht gedacht, unsere Gepäck auf den oberen Stock zu tragen. Für leichte Schlafzimmer ist es wert, festzustellen, dass Sie einige Aktivitäten von nahe gelegenen Zimmern oder von oben und unten hören können. Das Hotel ist jedoch sehr bedenklich und bietet Ohrschneider im Zimmer, das wir geschätzt haben. Das Badezimmer ist geteilt, und zunächst waren wir uns darüber nicht sicher. Aber es ist nur wenige Schritte vom Zimmer entfernt und war überhaupt nicht ungünstig. Es gibt einen Waschbecken im Zimmer, das die Dinge einfacher und praktisch macht. Wir fühlen ehrlich, dass dieser Ort unterbewertet und verdient mehr Anerkennung und positive Bewertungen. Es kann einfach sein, aber es bietet Charme, Wärme und eine der schönsten Seeblicke, die Sie aufwachen können. Manchmal brauchen Sie keinen Luxus nur ein sauberes Bett, ein Pool, einen Balkon und einen atemberaubenden Blick. Wir liebten es so sehr und würden absolut zurückkehren. Es ist ein schöner Ort, der wirklich mehr Anerkennung verdient.

Die Lage ist super praktisch, direkt neben dem Bahnsteig 1 des Bahnhofs Interlaken West. Gegenüber gibt es einen großen Supermarkt, wo man Lebensmittel kaufen und in der Wohnung kochen kann. Auch viele Restaurants und Geschäfte sind in der Nähe. Wir hatten ein Apartment, das sehr geräumig war und dessen Ausstattung noch sehr neu und gut gepflegt aussah. Obwohl wir Ende Mai ankamen, hatten wir leider eine europäische Hitzewelle mit Temperaturen von 27-28 Grad. Da das Apartment keine Klimaanlage hatte, war es wirklich unangenehm. In den Kommentaren hatte ich gelesen, dass das Hotel auf Anfrage zwei Ventilatoren pro Apartment zur Verfügung stellt. Ich rief sofort die Rezeption an und fragte, ob wir einen Ventilator bekommen könnten. Die Rezeption antwortete, dass nur einer verfügbar sei. Da wir zwei Zimmer hatten, fragte ich, ob wir zwei haben könnten, worauf die Rezeption direkt antwortete: „Nein, Sie können nur einen Ventilator anfordern.“ Die Einstellung wirkte etwas unfreundlich. Außerdem sollte in Apartments ohne Klimaanlage ein Ventilator als Grundausstattung angesehen werden und nicht erst auf Anfrage zur Verfügung gestellt werden müssen.
