Hotels mit Pools in Okres Bratislava I

Am Rande des Dohan-Flusses, mein Zimmer ist am Rande des Dorfs, kann auch ein wenig Flussschauer sehen. Ich kann die Nacht über die Straße gehen und die Nachtszene des Dohan-Flusses sehen. Sie sind nahe dem Schloss und der alte Stadt. Neben der Stadtbahn 4 (100 m) und 1 (400 m) sitzen und diese Stadt sehen!

Das Grand River Park Hotel is ein weiteres grundsätzlich empfehlenswertes Hotel aus der Luxury Collection Serie von Marriott. Es liegt etwa 15 Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt, gleich an der Donau, die Zimmer und Executive Lounge sind wunderbar, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und professionell und grundsätzlich verdient auch der SPA eine Empfehlung. Eine große ENTTÄUSCHUNG ist aber, dass Marriott für dieses Hotel (wie etwa auch im Wilson, Genf) den SPA outgesourct hat und den Gätsten 40 EUR für die Nutzung berechnet. Mit einer Behandlung (die sehr gut war) gibt es zwar kostenfreien Zutritt, aber wenn ich ein Luxury Collection buche, erwarte ich schon, dass zumindest Pool und Sauna inkludiert sind -- insbesondere wenn damit auf der Homepage geworben und nicht ausreichend deutlich gemacht wird, dass man für diese Annehmlichkeiten extra zahlen muss. Einen versteckten kleinen Hinweis finde ich unzureichend, zumal da man anderes gewohnt ist. Das trübte den ansosten sehr gelungenen Eindruck.

Having fully renovated the rooms means NOTHING if you don’t think things through. Our experience was bad, but just because the management didn’t clearly make sure that everything was working as it should be in a 120€ a night hotel which offers “executive rooms”. Upon check in, our room was cold and we couldn’t turn on the heating, even though on the istructions provided on how to manage it looked so easy. It wasn’t. At some point someone at reception activated it… but all the way up! The room was SO warm at night we had to call reception at 1AM to ask to solve the issue or be moved in another room, which eventually happened. As compensation we were offered a bottle of prosecco which was given to us… room temperature and upon checkout (two mornings after), when we had to go at the airport! Where were we supposed to drink it??? Anyway, Those newly renovated rooms are ANYTHING but soundproof as unfortunately we could hear voices in the corridor in the morning and from another room next to us. The design of the bathroom/shower is poor as the spash screen is too small and water spills out on the floor. Also there are no wall plugs right by the bed which is also absurd. You need to get out the bed to use one. The breakfast is ok but poor considering the quality this hotel presents itself to be. Therefore, £100/€120 a night for a room feels WAY overpriced (and remember it’s still 20 mins walking from town center). To the readers, I’m not saying “avoid at all costs”… but consider my honest review in your choice.
