The Berida is a hotel that embodies all the “old world” qualities of a home away from home. It has warmth, charm and personality. It may be a little worn around the edges - but nothing that affects its comfort - and it doesn’t have an elevator, so luggage has to be lugged upstairs. These are the only negative comments that come to mind. Service is friendly, accommodating and genuine. The restaurant is proficiently run and the food has been consistently of good quality on each of the several times we have stayed there. Overall it is a hotel of character that has a welcoming ambience seldom encountered in modern hotels.

Fantastic place with authentic decoration. Food at the restaurant was amazing at diner, as well as at lunch. Very good service at the reception and accomodating for our needs. Beds were very confortable. We will come back next time we are in Bowral!

Absolutely beautiful property in an excellent location. Lovely staff at reception, and in the bars and restaurants. Room was perfect - huge, warm, and comfortable. Bathroom is small, but has everything you need. Will be staying again for sure - highly recommended.

We had booked for three nights in late August , however due to health reasons we had to postpone for a couple of weeks. The front office staff were excellent. Not only did they accommodate our needs but displayed a genuine interest. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed and felt very special. During our stay we found all the staff to be very efficient, professional and accommodating. Obviously well supervised by the hands on General Manager.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this heritage, boutique hotel. The rooms are airy and stylish. It's excellent for groups, food is farm fresh tasty and the service is excellent. Six Tesla destination chargers were a big added bonus. We'll be back ❤️👍

Top class service, especially first from Baxter and then from Gill. When my friend became ill and had to go to hospital they organised a new downstairs room for the remainder of our stay and we were looked after as if we were regular guests, which I hope we will be into the future. Lovely ambience too, particularly loved the colour schemes and wallpaper, great to have a good restaurant on site open for every meal.

We spent 3 nights at this lovely ‘countrylodge’ styled hotel. Very handy to mainstreet Bowral. The rooms are compact. Nice decor. Comfy beds and pillows. Great water pressure in the shower. Air conditioner heat pump in the room. Only con is, there is not great sound proofing - like many hotels we have stayed at. A lively hotel with lots of nooks to settle and relax with a friend and a drink. We ate one night at the hotel restaurant. Good food and service. The hotel staff are absolutely lovely. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The accomodation was ok, I wouldn’t say it was worth how much we paid. It was quite disappointing that we were not advised about a lot of the amenities being unavailable until the week before the booking. They were advertised as available when it was booked months in advance, it would have not have been as much as of issue but this is why we booked here as the other accomodation we were recommended the same facilities were being renovated but this was advertised on their site. The room was not properly cleaned and was overall disappointing compared to the pictures online. Great location and the restaurant was lovely but would probably not stay here again.

The Berida Hotel was certainly special with lots of interesting nooks and crannies boasting well thought out designs and artwork. The new restaurant/bar manager, having arrived two days before I did, was very accommodating when dealing with guests and requests. Also the bartender in the Whiskey Bar & Lounge knew his job well and was amenable and again, accommodating. Not wanting a large dinner, the bar serves interesting and good “small plates” which hit the spot. My understanding is that the hotel had a new housekeeping manager as well and kudos to him. Our room was unique and one with the cool weather, how nice it was to be able and open the windows to let the fresh cool air in.
