Glass House has a constant breeze blowing from the ocean that gives you an option to cool the unit with just wind - just open the sliders! The second floor delivers better views and the privacy from anyone walking on the beach as well as the security to sleep with the sliding doors open to the breeze if you prefer that over the air conditioning. You can fall asleep hearing the waves crashing on the beach and wake up to the most beautiful sunrise you have ever seen with St. John and The British Virgin Islands framing your view. And in the morning, enjoying your coffee on your balcony will make you feel as you are floating on your own super yacht on the Caribbean Sea. You could not be any closer – you can smell the ocean air and hear the waves land on the beach. And, since the sun clocks around the building on the right side - it lets you indulge in the late afternoon light long after other units lose their sunlight. The turquoise crystal-clear swimming pool, overlooking the sea, is a short stroll to your left. Stop at the Marina and see what fresh fish they caught that day and take some to the condo to grill and enjoy on your balcony with a glass of chilled wine. Go for a boat ride with any of the charter companies located at the Marina’s resort to your right. Or simply take a stroll after dinner around the marina and look at the pretty yachts. Sapphire Beach Bar - a part of our Sapphire Beach Resort is located down the beach by A Building. They serve great drinks, sandwiches and fresh Mahi Mahi burgers. They have beach service, so you can order a drink without leaving your lounge chair! Beach Bar is a fun stop to enjoy great music, crowd watching and beach gazing. A coffee and ice cream shop, The BeachBuzz and a pizza and mojito bar, Paradise Pie, are all a few minutes walk right at Sapphire Beach. Where else would you want to grab a breakfast sandwich, a delicious smoothie or a specialty coffee but right at the beach! Lunch with a gourmet pizza and a specialty cocktail is also a must while visiting. Beautiful views at the all new upscale restaurant, SeaSalt, is a must with ocean-centric dining and a commitment to fresh, sea to table fare. A true example of water front dining! Within a short walking distance to the right of E building, inside the Sapphire Village Complex - there is a new restaurant - Sudi's Caribbean Bar & Grille - with great food and awesome reviews on Trip Advisor! Red Hook, a charming Nautical little town on the Harbor that offers grocery shopping and restaurants is only 4 minutes away and a $6 taxi ride (available at the taxi stand at our resort). Red Hook also has Ferries to St. John and the BVIs. One Beach Road is an architecturally stunning multi-level villa with 6 bedrooms, 5 ½ baths and extensive common spaces for relaxing, sunning, and eating. The beach front villa is secluded behind electronic gates on Pelican Point at the East End of St. Thomas and just ¾ mile from the small marina town of Red Hook. We recently added all new state of the art smart televisions in all bedrooms and living room, high-speed wireless internet throughout with a password protected router and a back-up ISP for redundancy. Sonos audio is in the living room, bedrooms, apartment and outdoors poolside along with new speakers throughout for premium sound. The main villa has 5 bedrooms (4 brand new king mattresses) a bunk room and 4.5 baths. The separate entrance bungalow private suite has a brand new king bed, brand new queen sleep sofa, a bunk bed, kitchen and full bathroom. Four of the five main villa bedrooms have amazing views of the turquoise ocean and white sand beach from each of their private balconies. Three spacious bathrooms are en-suite and there is an additional full bathroom that is perfect for the fifth bedroom and the bunk room. The bungalow private suite the sixth bedroom suite sleeping 6 people. The state-of-the-art modern kitchen has a gas stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher and the cabinets stocked with all the necessary tools to create your own dinners. Or, ask us for a private chef recommendation! There is dining table inside or choose to eat Al-fresco on the covered porch poolside. Of course, there's a beautiful poolside large BBQ where you can grill up dinner for a dozen guests. A beverage refrigerator is adjacent to the outside table, so you won’t have to go far for a cold one! A very comfortable patio, perfect for enjoying coffee every morning or drinks as the sun goes down, leads to the infinity edge pool. The beach is dotted with swaying coconut palms, sea grape trees and lounge chairs to relax. Also, a table under the shade of the sea grape trees offers a great place for a casual lunch after snorkeling or kayaking.One Beach Road sits on its own private white sand beach encompassed by a unique sand covered stone jetty. Explore the lively coral reef right in your backyard where you can see colorful tropical fish, coral, sea rays and turtles. An automatic stand-by generator supports the entire property in the event of a power outage. You will probably never notice an interruption as it kicks on in less than 4 minutes. One Beach Road is only a 5-minute drive to Red Hook where there are many bars and restaurants to choose from as well as shopping and grocery stores. The ferry to St. John is also located in Red Hook making a day trip an easy experience.Concierge-style services are available to you before your arrival and during your stay.
