Katmandu is an Original 1930 Twain Harte cabin which has been lovingly restored in cabin decor with modern upgrades. Knotty Pine interior with soaring ceilings, 4 bedrooms, one with a new king size bed, one with queen size bed, (both of these are bedrooms are downstairs) the other 2 have full size beds and are upstairs, all have new comfy mattresses. (The two bedrooms upstairs have steep stairs going to them as shown in the photo's) 2 bathrooms, 1 w/ tub and shower, the other has a walk-in shower, both are recently remodeled. A rock fireplace with a wood burning stove, ceiling fan, cable T.V., wireless high speed internet, cd player, forced air heater, air conditioner for the warmer summer months. Kitchen has a newer gas range, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker. Fully equipped kitchen with every accessory you will need. Front load Washer & Dryer. Large wrap around deck with gas BBQ, table and chairs. Enjoy beautiful, private, Twain Harte Lake. Lake opens Memorial Week-end and closes after Labor Day. In all the closets you will find extra floor fans. Our cabin, much like other cabins of the 1950s era, does not have central air conditioning and it does get hot. During the summer months, place the fans on the window ledges right when the sun starts to go down and the room will be nice and cool! this is the coolest room in the house! Both in temperature and in vibes!Upstairs you will find the "Cubs Den" furnished with 2 full beds and a 60" TV with ROKU! Turn on the twinkle lights and this makes the perfect theater room for the little ones!Across the hall is another bedroom with a queen bed, rocking chair and pack-n- play in the closet! This room also has a portable AC unit. Please attach the vent to the screen and plug it in, prior to turning on the power button.
