All of these towns feature beautiful restaurants and really cool shopping, and the surrounding areas offer beautiful farms with fresh produce, honey, and of course, there are perfect hikes everywhere. We are closest to the town of Jeffersonville. It has a great supermarket for all your cooking supply needs, a VERY cute cafe with excellent coffee, a general store with plenty of vegan and specialty items, and some new, very cute shops.This is the heart of the Catskills, only 2 hours (110 miles) from NYC, and the perfect place to enjoy a slower pace, partake in some non-city events, enjoy all the upstate seasonal events, or just enjoy the tranquility of this A-frame in the trees.This cabin has two bedrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. The primary bedroom downstairs has a queen-sized bed, beautiful views of woods and stars, beautiful light and artwork. The full bed upstairs is super cozy and open to all the quiet reading nooks in the A-frame space. It feels really special and from another era, where everything was handmade. The bathroom is located downstairs on the first floor, and is modern and beautiful, with a full bathtub for soaking.The house has a full kitchen with everything you need to have delicious meals together overlooking Briscoe Lake, or just make a perfect latte to bring out onto the deck for some fresh air and star gazing.The whole house overlooks greenery and water. There are so many beautifully designed spots to curl up with a book, create a kind of writer-retreat vibe, or hang out with family and friends around a fire, play games, or watch a movie.
