You can walk to the beautiful Hyannis Marina; and from there the high-speed ferries can take you to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Islands in an hour. Veterans beach and Kalmus beach, which is a favorite amongst windsurfers, are 1.5 to 2 miles away.
