Just .5 miles off of RT 100, 22 min to Sugarbush, 20 min to Mad River Glen, and 39 min to Stowe Mtn Resort. 13 min to Waitsfield or Waterbury, 23 min to Montpelier, and 43 min to Burlington.The spaceInside our fully log cabin you will find a bedroom with 1 queen bed and a small workspace with a desk, 1 full bathroom, a full kitchen stocked with pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses and utensils, a small dining area, and a living area with a loveseat sofa and a Roku TV with guest mode where you can easily and temporarily sign-in to all of your personal streaming services. If you have a baby we do have a pack and play available in the laundry room at all times. There is also a screened-in front porch at the front of the cabin featuring tables and seating.Heat and AC are provided through 2 mini split pump heads - one in the living area and the other in the main bedroom. They can be adjusted via the wall mounted controllers for your comfort.A washer and dryer are available for guests in the hall as well as an iron/ironing board and hair dryer. Free and clear detergent is available.A drip coffee maker is available along with complimentary packets of coffee grounds and tea bags.All bed sheets are 100% cotton. Towels are provided for guests. Liquid hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are available in the bathroom as well as rolls of toilet paper. Liquid dish soap, a new sponge, and a paper towels are available in the kitchen.We have a strict no pets policy. Please refer to our house rules for more information.We look forward to hosting you!Guest accessYou will have access to the cabin via keypad. A door code will be provided prior to your arrival. There is also a Ring video doorbell located next to the front door for security and communication. Ringing the doorbell will call me directly. You will have the entire cabin to yourselves. Guests are welcome to walk through the back woods where trails are currently being cut.Other things to noteTo access the house, you will need to drive up a dirt road. Enjoy easy drives to neighboring towns like Stowe, Waterbury, and Waitsfield allowing you to be minutes away from your outdoor adventure or meal. Our 1800's cottage was fully renovated to fit the needs of modern comfort while maintaining its vintage charm. The open floor plan on the first floor offers an abundance of light and brings the tranquility of the outdoors in. Enter through the side of the home into a sitting area with a TV. Ditch your boots and coats and head into the living space which opens into the kitchen and dining room, making conversation easy regardless of the room you're in. A centrally placed gas stove spreads warmth and cozy vibes for all to enjoy. The first floor bathroom boasts an open air shower with views of the pines or unwind in the claw foot tub. The stairs to the second floor are steeper (and maybe a little creakier) than usual and take you to the landing which all bedrooms are accessed from. The rustic floorboards lead you to either a Queen room (x2) or the Master with a King bed and walk in closet. There is a brand new full bath upstairs. The backyard offers a stone patio to enjoy summer meals under the stars There is a 'stream' that runs through the property adding peaceful background noise in addition to the other sounds of nature you'll find here.
