It may not be a shiny new hotel but it does have its own lived in charm . Mike and Pam were the best of hosts and can’t do enough for you. They obviously work hard to get it to function as staff in Bluff are hard to come by. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open due to no chef, this was a common problem in Bluff as neither did two other places we tried to eat at. Hence they do it all themselves. It is quite old and worn in places but unlike others in this ilk it works very well . Value for money you can’t touch it. Help yourself to teas and coffee, even toast and cereal laid on at breakfast to start you off. It’s been a very long time since I shared facilities at a hotel , I wasn’t looking forward to it but need not have worried, it went smoothly. The bed was comfy, the place was warm and clean .
