The Astor Hotel

The hotel was very clean warm and plenty of hot water and very quiet room where a nice size and on suite the staff were very friendly and helpful short walk from centre or near a tram stop very pleasant would go again good value for money………………..

omg... been going to Blackpool for 30 years, all i can say is that we were very disapointed on first impressions and it went down hill from there poor poor poor, room poor service poor bed and furnishings poor ....so bad in fact we didn't even last an hour and moved to another hotel which was spot on...didn't know places like this still exited.

It’s not the Ritz, but it is what you pay for. We found the rooms a little tired but clean and comfortable. We thought it was great value for money and we would definitely stop again. The owner / manager was so friendly and could not do enough for you

The hotel overall is average at best the whole place could do with a refurbishment, the rooms are basic but comfortable, the hotel workers are friendly and helpful. Budget hotel and probably wouldn't recommend here, the rooms are small and we payed for a quadruple room 2 double beds and we got one double and bunk beds which was disappointing.

Well where do i start! We stayed a few weeks ago and was a lovely lady and her family who had it and was clean well ran and so friendly. Now it’s awful , smells when walk in , the man whom is here to run it is not presented well, he looks dirty and in his socks walking around. He spoke to me and my family so rude, The rooms are not what was, they are dirty, bedding as previous guests hair and stains , no towels ,, no soaps no tea coffee etc , The rooms not hoovered bins not empty , previous guests waste in the toilet , There was an awful smell and we found a dirty nappy under the bed . I felt sick , we went to complain but no staff around then we found him asleep in the so called dining area , woke him and he was very snappy so clearly was not pleased been woken up, Do not go here you will regret it yes it’s cheap but you expect clean and politeness

This is a real budget hotel and if you know Blackpool, you will know what the budget hotels are like. It's cheap and cheerful but the rooms are extremely clean. We stayed one night and would have no hesitation on going back. The common areas are very dated and a bit dirty and there is a terrible smell, however, the rooms are clean (dated) but comfortable. Excellent check in facilities. About a four minute walk to a car park which was £11 for 24 hours. It's not near the Pleasure Beach, it's the other end of the Golden Mile. We just needed a room for one night..... would we use this place again? Definitely. Slight problem you probably never see on a review.... both taps in the bathroom were hot. It's normally the lack of hot water, but here, you get hot water out of both taps!
