Erstens ist das Hotel so schön. Es sieht aus wie ein Garten. Ich genieße es.
Dann sind die Speisen köstlich und einige von ihnen sind erstaunlich. Wichtigster Grund
ist, dass das Bett so groß und weich ist, dass ich nicht jeden Morgen aufstehen möchte.
Es ist wunderbar hier. Ich kann es nicht glauben, dass ich gehen muss. ich will hier leben

Das Zimmer ist nicht groß, aber sauber. Das Wasser in der Dusche ist nicht glatt. Der Hotelservice ist nichts Besonderes. Unterhalb des Hotels befindet sich ein Einkaufszentrum, das zum Einkaufen und Essen bequemer ist.

Walk 7 minutes in one direction and you are at Checkpoint Charlie. Walk 10 mins in the other direction and you are at the Mall of Berlin. Walk 20 mins in another direction and you are in the Museum area of Berlin. Loads of restaurants, supermarkets and stores right next door to the apartment. Wonderful location. Can walk everywhere, plus the subway station is right outside.
Room
Large. Clean. It's a studio apartment, so in one room you will have your bed, sofa, coffee table, desk, wardrobe and TV. Then in another room you will have your kitchen and another room is your bathroom.
Bedroom
Bed is comfortable, but for some reason, despite having a 1 double bed, the duvets supplied were for 2 single beds, rather than one big bed.
Plug sockets near the beds are useful, but they are not VERY near, but close enough.
The room is large and clean.
The TV is small and because of the size of the room, it's almost hard to see. Yes it's on a wheeled table so you can bring it closer to the bed, but the power cord limits the range of movement. It is a Smart TV though so you can cast your android phone to it. Not iOS
There is a balcony area with tables and chairs which is nice.
The AC is wall mounted as if it was a TV. It did cool the room which is surprising as the room is big.
Bathroom
Super clean. Towels and such changed daily. It's a bathtub with a shower combined. And now I am going to be SUPER picky when I say this......do NOT let this impact your decision to stay here or not, but the water pressure is good but not great. But that may be because I like to feel like the water is really shooting at my skin. Also, the shower head holder kept sliding down. Annoying, ever so slightly, but not a deal breaker
Kitchen
So useful. It's a large kitchen with a fridge plus freezer. Induction hob with 2 rings. Sink, dishwasher. Plates, bowls, cups, tea saucers and cups, cutlery, cooking pots, frying pans, utensils for them, cutlery for eating, kitchen knives, tea towels, sieves... all great and all provided. There was one review that said it only offered 1 plate set.... we had several and it was very very useful.
Laundry
The apartment has a laundry room. 3 washing machines, 3 drying units, an ironing board and good steam iron. Even the powder is provided and having a laundry room was super useful. It's on -1 floor of the West side of the building.
Breakfast
The breakfast room, on the 8th floor does have an amazing view, and the room is lovely - everything is white with stone-coloured chairs, super clean... as if designed by Apple
It's a half-buffet style, cereal, pastry, cheese, and cured meats are all help yourself. Eggs, tea and coffee are on request. I didn't like this. The staff are wonderful and very polite and well trained, but, for me, I prefer less interaction and would have preferred a full buffet-style where I can help myself to whatever I wanted without having to ask.
Gym and Sauna
Also on the 8th floor. The gym has wonderful views, there is a seated bike, treadmill, rowing machine, weight bench and some dumbbells. Max weight was 10kg for the dumbbells so really its more of a cardio room.
Service.
We arrived around 11pm, but reception is not open. You have to scan a QR code, fill in all your details, upload a photo of your passport.... then wait after it successfully registers you you can open the doors. Or you can pop into the security office where the guy will hand you a key. Much easier, but you are not explicitly told.
But, the service is good here. Everyone is very polite, very helpful, all speak English. Cannot fault them at all. Just wish the reception was 24 hours
The location is great, the room is large and clean, the laundry room is useful and the gym and breakfast room have great views. It is expensive which is the only hesitant thing about returning here, but it is comparable in price to other similar hotels but here you get a much larger room with a kitchen. Great stay!

GGastnutzerSehr gut. Die Lage ist auch sehr gut. Es ist für Geschäftsreisen geeignet. Es ist ein Niveau höher als das Inlandsniveau. Die unterstützenden Einrichtungen sind auch sehr vollständig. Das Schwimmbad und die Sauna sind vorhanden. Ich werde das nächste Mal wieder hier übernachten

GGastnutzer”Mein Aufenthalt im DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Berlin war fantastisch. Von der ersten Minute an fühlte ich mich in diesem Hotel rundum wohl und willkommen. Der Empfang an der Rezeption war außerordentlich freundlich und der Check-in verlief reibungslos.
Mein Zimmer war sehr geräumig, modern und stilvoll eingerichtet. Es war makellos sauber und verfügte über alle Annehmlichkeiten, die man sich wünschen kann - vom bequemen Bett über den Flachbild-TV bis hin zur Nespresso-Maschine. Der Blick aus dem Fenster auf die umliegende Umgebung war wunderbar.
Das Badezimmer war ebenfalls tiptop in Schuss und mit hochwertigen Pflegeprodukten ausgestattet. Ich habe fantastisch geschlafen und mich rundum wohl gefühlt.
Das Frühstücksbuffet im hauseigenen Restaurant ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die Auswahl an leckeren und hochwertigen Speisen war riesig - vom Rührei über frische Brötchen bis hin zu Obst, Säften und Müsli. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und aufmerksam.
Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls hervorragend. Es befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Kurfürstendamm mit seinen zahlreichen Geschäften, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Auch die Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr ist erstklassig.
Insgesamt kann ich das DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Berlin wärmstens empfehlen. Ich hatte einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und werde definitiv wiederkommen.”

AAndreaWir waren jetzt schon zum wiederholten Mal im nhow Hotel und sind jedes Mal begeistert! Die Zimmer sind nicht nur stylisch und modern, sondern bieten auch einen richtig tollen Ausblick auf die Oberbaumbrücke und die Spree – einfach mega! (Muss man allerdings auf kleinen Aufpreis buchen) 🤩 Die Atmosphäre im Hotel ist einzigartig, und der Service lässt keine Wünsche offen. Immer wieder gerne!

GGastnutzerEin modernes Aparthotel mit kleinen Abstrichen
Das Aparthotel ist modern und schick eingerichtet und bietet freundlichen Service. Die Ausstattung ist komplett und die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Das Zimmer war ordentlich und sauber.
Allerdings ist die Lage etwas ungünstig, da die nächste gut angebundene Haltestelle 10 Minuten Fußweg entfernt ist. Wer mit viel Gepäck reist, sollte am besten mit dem Auto ankommen. Außerdem ist die Adresse auf Maps falsch angegeben, das Aparthotel befindet sich rechts hinter dem ABBA Hotel unter der Adresse 89A. Das Doppelbett bestand aus zwei Einzelbetten, die zusammengeschoben wurden und manchmal auseinandergerutscht sind.
Aber bei der Preisklasse würden wir gerne nochmal herkommen.

Service at reception
The full payment including city taxes have been paid via my credit card upon booking. The payments paid and breakdown including city taxes are stated very clearly on the booking voucher. However despite this, I was asked to pay a deposit of amount close to Euro 600 which was the full amount of my stay that was paid using my credit card. Upon asking, I asked the trainee/Lena why I have to pay so much again when I had paid the full amount via credit card.
Lena then checked with the another lady receptionist on the deposit that should be secured. However, this lady receptionist informed us to pay a deposit of euro 50 which I have no issue. However, she rudely informed me that I have to pay city tax. I told her that it has been paid and I showed her the booking voucher which clearly shows that city taxes have been paid. But she informed rudely that the amount was charged in other currency, not Euro. Seriously, when I heard this, I was shocked with the “intelligence” of this lady receptionist. She needs to be educated on what is “foreign currency equivalent” and to have some common sense. I disputed this and insisted that i had paid the full amount including city taxes, which was stated very clearly on the booking voucher. Lena agreed with me and reiterated to this lady receptionist that the booking voucher indeed stated that all payments including city taxes have been paid. Thereafter, the lady receptionist left rudely without any apologies.
The receptionists should be trained and their service should be improved. Firstly, they should have checked that I have fully paid and should not secure a a deposit of almost euro 600. Only when I asked, they rechecked, but no apologies. Secondly, even after they rechecked, they did not check clearly that city taxes have been paid and insisted me to pay city taxes. No apologies either when they found out. The service from the lady receptionist (shorter girl with curly hair) was so rude and no apologies even though she was wrong in the first place.
I highlighted this issue and feedback to the shiftleader, Andreas Levi and made known to him about the receptionists. He immediately went to check and confirmed that all payments including city taxes have been paid earlier via credit card. Thanks Andreas Levi for checking and making our stay better.
Bed
Not sure why some beds have comforters/topper while some beds without. The beds with comforters are so comfy! Our bed without comforters.
Breakfast
For Europe’s standard, I think the breakfast in this hotel is considered good. With few hot food such as overcooked bacon, overcooked sausage, baked bean, and eggs. The omelette is nice (thanks to the chef!) Some selections of bread, lots of choices of good quality teas. Few selections of juices. Coffee machine. Fresh honey comb.
Complementary water
It is odd that complimentary water is only provided to the guests for the first night despite I stay 3 nights. This is the first time I experience this in Europe. Perhaps guest should make different booking for each night.
Proximity to trains and attractions
Close proximity to train stations and some main attractions.
Summary
Overall service was good (except for 1 rude lady receptionist). I will still recommend this hotel. Take the breakfast.

MMarina1403Die Herberge liegt weit vom Zentrum entfernt, aber die Anreise ist einfach. Neben dem Hostel befindet sich eine Straßenbahnhaltestelle. Das Personal ist freundlich, die Herberge ist geräumig und sauber. Es gibt einen kostengünstigen Wäscheservice. Das Frühstück ist ziemlich dürftig. Ein paar Haltestellen vom Hostel entfernt gibt es einen großen Lidl-Laden. Prinzipiell ist es für das Geld eine gute Option, aber die Nachteile sind: Die Matratze ist unbequem und die Hörbarkeit in den Zimmern ist gut.
