Very clean hotel . Room cleaned and fresh towels daily . Staff pleasant and breakfast good . The only negative was the air con was either not strong enough or not working properly ( this was what people said it was )

Staff were very rude, abrupt and like they didn’t have the time to help with anything. Got up at breakfast to go and get a cup of coffee and they took breakfast away from the table before we had finished saying they were closed now. Watched a member of staff filling up the juice machine at breakfast when they opened it up it was full of mold inside. Black mold in the rooms. Very strict about eating and drinking anything not purchased at the bar around the pool, very rude when communicating this slamming a sign in our face. Deposit was €150 for the room this is staff discretion and depends on age i think. Atmosphere from staff was quite hostile. Will not be returning next year!!

Booked here for a lads holiday. All the staff were really friendly & went the extra mile for you, nothing was too much. The whole hotel is really clean & maids clean rooms everyday, shampoo & shower gel is provided in rooms. We had pool view rooms which were spot on all rooms have plenty of storage with hanging space as well as drawers , bedsides & dressing table Safes are available in all rooms but are chargeable, as are fridges. We had breakfast on our last day which cost 10€ & was paid at reception.....well worth it. Cereals, pastries, cakes fruit, full cooked breakfast with hash browns & black pudding, breads, toasts, hot & cold drinks. Hotel bar is great & well stocked with good selection of drinks Dont hesitate to book here the location is spot on with everything you need on the doorstep. We will definitely be back

Cannot believe I'm about to write this review. Having stayed in Benidorm several times with a positive experience, sadly this trip as far as the hotel goes is extremely negative. Once arrived, the reception staff seemed stressed and abrupt when checking us in, room wasn't ready until 3pm. 150 euros to pay incase any room damages which we did pay but wasn't aware of this beforehand. There were 15 of us and there was one room we weren't happy with. Upon asking at reception we were told we had to pay a further 27 euros to change rooms which is insane but after hours of travelling we just paid to keep peace. 2nd night in we returned to the hotel and realised we had been locked out of one of the rooms due to someone not taking the key card out so we went to ask at reception for an additional key card to let us in. There was 2 couples checking in at the time so we waited behind them. The man on reception asked one of us how can he help? We said we're locked out and he replied well I'm serving these so you'll have to wait your turn go and wait in the corner. We said well you just asked us we were happy to wait. After the couples before us had checked in we got the key card and stated that he was very rude to us and that it was not good customer service. He then continued to tell us to f**k off calling one of us a b*tch. One of us recorded this as we were just absolutely appalled and no one would have believed this was happening to which he said he was calling the police because that was illegal and again told us to f*ck off. Never in my life have I witnessed behaviour like this from reception staff. The other man he was working with was clearly embarrassed by his colleagues behaviour. This hotel should seriously question who they have on front of house, it was absolutely disgusting. On a side note the bar staff downstairs were lovely very smiley and helpful. Hotel is clean and tidy with room service but unfortunately never ever will we visit here again.

This was my 4th stay at the Perla and unfortunately my last. The staff were rude and unhelpful. We had to pay €150 euro a room deposit which will be refunded in 7 to 10 working days so we asked for the staff to come check our rooms when we checked out to resolve any queries and they wouldn’t which seems difficult to prove no damage when back in UK, so make sure you take photos. The walls are so thin we heard every noise and it was extremely noisy so take ear plugs if you want to sleep. The whole party of us were bit by the pool so take insect repellent. If you want to sun bathe don’t stay here there is no sun until 2/3pm. It’s cash only in the pool bar which was very confusing as you could pay card in reception bar. Drinks are expensive and you are not allowed own drinks or snacks by the pool. We had water and crisps confiscated like naughty children. Such a shame to write this but we felt like the staff ****** the fun out of us this time. Also don’t use the shop opposite reception he just makes up his prices and they are ridiculously insane. The takeaway opposite was amazing and they were friendly and also cannot fault Miguel at breakfast he was always happy.

I have been visiting Hotel Perla for many years with my elderly parents, and every stay reminds me why we keep coming back. The staff go above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for, and it truly makes all the difference to our holidays. The reception team especially Silvia and Katia take so much stress off our shoulders, organising mobility scooters and transfers for us before we arrive every year. It’s such a thoughtful touch that allows us to simply relax and enjoy our time stress free. Every single member of staff is amazing, but I also have to mention Manuel , his energy and positivity never waver. No matter what’s going on, you’ll always hear his cheerful “hello, hola, happy, happy, fresh bacon, fresh sausage!” greeting. He brings a smile to everyone’s face and makes every morning brighter. Andreas is also a legend out on the front bar, with his nonstop happy charisma that never fails to brighten the atmosphere. Hotel Perla feels like a second home to us, and we always look forward to our yearly visits. See you next year guys. Terry, Agnes and Tommy x x x

I don’t know why this hotel as some bad reviews …I normally stay in 5 star Egypt so wasn’t expecting too much but it was lovely the only downfall was the pool in the shade but that’s not the hotels fault it’s the building in front …anyways Easy check in and very friendly staff …we paid extra for pool view as we wanted the quiet side 6 euros per night well worth it for 3 nights …room 503 on the top floor …bought breakfast from here 2 mornings as it was all you can eat buffet 8/10 for an all you can eat …buy your bottles of water at the hotel bar ( large ones ) much cheaper than supermarket ( don’t use the one over road it’s a Rip off ) shout out to manuel and andres and the cleaners …rooms were spotless cleaned everyday …replaced towels and always stocked up on toilet roll …overall a lovely hotel …only reason I wouldn’t stay again is because of the shady pool ( I’m a sun worshipper ) I spent the 3 days on the beach and had to pay for sun loungers …other than that if your not bothered about the pool get this hotel booked 🙂

Cannot fault this hotel.most of the staff were friendly especially one of the waiters on a morning happy happy.the hotel was immaculate, rooms were cleaned everyday.the food choice was great for breakfast, something for everyone.we had 2 rooms overlooking the pool.it was a great location, supermarkets really close and play area across the road for families.would recommend a room at the back of the hotel as it could get abit noisey at nt.the hotel has a bar out the front which is great for people watching..great location.i did expect to be asked for a deposit but wasnt.would definately stay here again.

The hotel is clean and presentable, with good facilities. The bar staff are all very friendly, and the pool area is really nice. That's the good part. The bad part: the reception and cleaning staff struggle to hide their contempt for British holidaymakers. In some ways, I can't blame them, but you need to remain professional. We stayed for three nights, and were slightly surprised to find that our rooms were to be cleaned every morning. We hadn't kept the rooms that tidy, and the cleaners complained to the reception staff. The next thing we know, our room cards stopped working. When we went down to reception to query this, the first thing they said was "you've left your room very messy". We asked if that was why the cards stopped working, but they denied it. Air conditioning in the room also didn't work, and they were not interested in fixing it. Finally, they required a deposit of €150, which we put on our cards. We were told that this would be returned within 4-5 days following checkout. It's not been well over a week and it's still a pending charge. I did a bit of digging, and it transpires that it could actually be 10 working days before we get the money back. Tip - pay the deposit in cash, and you'll get it back at checkout.
