From the 1st minute we walked in to be met by the grumpiest, rudest receptionists, we knew this wasn't going to be the best experience 😒 We asked if we could get pool towels, and the safe for our room, he grunted that we were to go to our room and to come back for them?? No idea why?? So we did that, he was sitting eating his lunch at the reception when we went back down! The room was spacious but has no doors from living area to bedroom, the blackout blinds were useless so you couldn't have a long lie! All the walls were heavily marked and in desperate need of a clean or a lick of paint. The bedroom walls had what looked like blood and noodles on them! (see pics)🤢 The living area walls also had food like marks on them 🤢 The couch was filthy and the glass table was not cleaned at all the whole week we were there. There was a mark on the mirror which was eventually cleaned after day 4! The bed was made daily, but not changed. The bathroom was not cleaned at all the whole time we were there(see pics) The dirt that was there when we arrived was still there when we left! The towels were thin, dated and had stains on them. We were all inclusive, which was horrendous! Food was lukewarm, and nothing went together! Bolognese sauce with no pasta? Mashed potatoes and peas beside it?? Struggled to get an actual meal, it was like when you're trying to run your freezer down and have to just throw anything and everything together!! The leftovers from lunch were put in with that night's food! There was a pool bar, which had no staff, just self service for juice or beer! You had to trail up and into the main bar in the hotel if you wanted anything else to drink. We came back to our room when the maid was there one day and she never even acknowledged us even though we said hello! She stood at the end of the beds on her phone! The only good thing about this hotel is Giorgi at the main bar, she is lovely, friendly and always smiling, a credit to the hotel! The other staff were pleasant enough aswell. This hotel is a 3* at very best and that's me being very generous! We stayed in Benidorm last September at the Presidente which is a far better 4*
