During the Christmas season, I spent several delightful days at the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi, the very same Park Hyatt where Liu Yifei once stayed, and it turned out to be my favorite place where I lingered the longest during this trip. Coincidentally, the room number was the same as my birthday (a rare occurrence for someone born in January). *Highlights: The hotel boasts its own private beach, free from the hustle and bustle of tourists, offering a tranquil and comfortable atmosphere with a great vibe. *Relaxation: There are multiple swimming pools, restaurants, and a library, all exquisitely beautiful, and you can enjoy the sight of eagles during breakfast. *Activities: Morning yoga classes are available, along with tennis courts, a golf course, a gym, and a spa. *Service: The welcome gifts included a large box of chocolates and a fruit platter—the chocolates were absolutely delicious. The staff were all very warm and provided attentive service. *Amenities: The toiletries were from Le Labo, a brand that I adore. *Location: The Louvre is nearby, making it convenient to visit. *The rate during the Christmas season was approximately $1100 per night. *Drawback: It was so comfortable that I ended up staying in the hotel for several days without venturing out, missing many of Abu Dhabi's attractions.

This hotel features a unique style with its sandy yellow architecture reminiscent of old Dubai, making it a very comfortable stay. The terrace rooms offer beautiful views of the hotel pool and beach, and from a distance, you can even see a mosque. April mornings are delightful for sunbathing on the beach. The seafood buffet for two at AED 390 is a great deal, though the taste is just average, and dining options nearby are limited, mostly consisting of hotels and upscale residences. It's a 15-minute drive to the mosque and 30 minutes to the Louvre Museum. After 11 AM, you can enjoy a small boat ride around the hotel, which can be a bit dull but adds to the activities available. The gym is separated by gender, which might be a slight inconvenience for couples. Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay at the hotel.

Everything is really nice with the hotel, they even accomodated us to a one bedroom suite when requested. The only drawback was the overcrowded breakfast buffet and the arrangements being accross three rooms that was very annoying and not a pleasant experience. But the property is beautiful and location is perfect would recommend anyone to stay here.

Insgesamt war es passable. Aber für Yas Insel Hotel und Markenname von Park Inn, wir erwarteten viel besser.

Really spacious room, lots of closet space, and huge bathroom. Amenities wise, it was really upsetting that the adult-only pool was too full so we got rejected and had to use the family pool. And next to the family pool, there was a really loud construction happening so it wasn't a relaxing time by the pool.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and professional. Check-in was quick and smooth, and they made me feel valued as a guest. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day. The hotel's facilities were outstanding, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and luxurious. Breakfast offered a great variety of fresh and delicious options, and the service throughout the hotel was consistently excellent. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and transportation. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and exceptional service. I would definitely stay here again.

Insgesamt ist das Anwesen in seiner Größe und architektonischen Präsenz zweifellos beeindruckend. Die Qualität der Materialien und der Verarbeitung im gesamten Resort ist offensichtlich, und es ist deutlich erkennbar, dass erheblich in die Schaffung eines luxuriösen Ambientes investiert wurde. Die Ausstattung ist hochwertig und gut gepflegt. Trotzdem wirkte das Angebot an Einrichtungen und Erlebnissen trotz der Weitläufigkeit des Resorts nicht so umfangreich oder überraschend, wie ich es mir ursprünglich vorgestellt hatte. Angesichts der Lage und des guten Rufs des Anwesens besteht möglicherweise die Möglichkeit, markantere oder einprägsamere Elemente einzuführen, die das Gefühl von Entdeckung und Begeisterung für die Gäste steigern. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist das Restaurant-Serviceteam. Ihre Herzlichkeit, Aufmerksamkeit und Professionalität haben den Aufenthalt deutlich bereichert. Oft sind es die menschlichen Faktoren, die den stärksten Eindruck hinterlassen, und in dieser Hinsicht haben Ihre Kollegen im Bereich Gastronomie hervorragende Arbeit geleistet. Mit der bereits vorhandenen soliden Basis – sowohl in Bezug auf die Infrastruktur als auch auf die Servicekultur – sehe ich großes Potenzial, das Gästeerlebnis weiter zu optimieren und noch unvergesslichere Momente zu schaffen.

Unser einziger Fehler war nicht länger zu bleiben. Dieses Hotel war wunderschön und die Aussicht auf den Balkon war erstaunlich. Das Frühstück war lecker mit viel westlichen und lokalen Optionen. Nächstes Mal sind wir in Abu Dhabi wir werden definitiv wieder bleiben

Alles lief super! Ich hatte einen Nachtflug und war sehr müde. Die Rezeption hat das bemerkt und mich ohne Aufpreis früher eingecheckt. Vielen Dank! Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich. Mein Zimmer lag nur im ersten Stock und man konnte das Fenster nicht öffnen, um ins Sonnenlicht zu kommen. Das Frühstück war gut, aber der Kaffee war nicht so gut.

Dear Hotel Management， I would like to start by saying that staying at your hotel was generally a pleasant experience, but I feel compelled to share the deeply frustrating and upsetting incident I encountered at your Asian restaurant, Cho Gao. This experience left a very sour taste in my mouth, and I believe it requires your immediate attention. Upon arrival at Cho Gao, the first waitress who served us displayed a level of indifference and rudeness that left us feeling unwelcome. At first, I tried to brush it off, thinking I might be overly sensitive, but when my mother—who doesn’t speak a word of English—expressed that she, too, felt uncomfortable and unwelcome, I knew this wasn’t just my perception. As someone who has lived abroad for over a decade, I understand the importance of cultural sensitivity, but what transpired felt more like an intentional disregard for our presence. To add insult to injury, when my mom requested hot water, the waitress initially offered Jasmine tea and Earl Grey instead. I patiently explained that in Chinese culture, we prefer hot water before meals, but the waitress’s response was condescending, as though she couldn’t comprehend this simple request. After insisting we only wanted hot water, we waited for half an hour before it was finally served. I am a pescatarian and asked if the shrimp dumplings contained pork, as it is common in China. The waitress’s response was baffling and dismissive. She couldn’t seem to understand why I was asking such a question and even said, “I don’t understand your language.” This was particularly infuriating given that I’m a journalist and fully capable of communicating clearly in English, despite my accent. Her lack of understanding was not a language barrier—it was sheer indifference and poor service. We arrived at 8 p.m. and didn’t order much, yet we were informed that we would have to wait at least 20 minutes because regulars were being prioritized. While we understood this, the tone with which this was conveyed was rude and unprofessional. We never saw the original waitress again, and the remaining staff members, thankfully, were far more courteous and competent. While the service from the other staff members was better, the damage had already been done. It’s not just about the specific actions of the waitress; it was the overall tone and attitude, which felt dismissive, condescending, and unwelcoming. The fact that my mom, a Chinese tourist who doesn’t speak English, was ignored and treated differently from other guests was a glaring example of cultural insensitivity and, frankly, ******. In my experience, many Chinese tourists—especially those from older generations—are sensitive to how they’re treated abroad. They come from a background where such trips are rare and precious, and they do not deserve to be treated with disdain. The treatment we received was not just disappointing—it was insulting. As someone raised in a culture of respect and tolerance, it is painful to witness the mistreatment of others, particularly our elders. I am not one to exaggerate, but this experience was far from trivial. The waitress’s dismissive tone, the long wait for a simple cup of hot water, and the overall lack of hospitality left a lasting negative impression. Yes, she didn’t outright do anything “wrong,” but the attitude was blatantly off-putting, and it deeply impacted our experience. My mom, who is typically very forgiving, still tried to defend the waitress, teaching me the importance of patience and kindness when traveling. But after all that happened, I’m left asking: How can you expect us to remain calm and tolerant in the face of such disrespect? To be clear, the Cho Gao restaurant experience did not define our stay—this hotel overall was far better than the Grand Hyatt we stayed at earlier. But this incident stands out, and I sincerely hope that you take the time to address these concerns.
