It was a very pleasant stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too. The room was generally clean but the reason why I gave four for cleanliness is because the pillow was somehow a bit dusty. One thing to address was that at times the lift smelled bad and the corridor we stayed on smelled as if someone was smoking in the room. I understand tho guests’ behaviour is sometimes not necessarily under their control. Hence, it didn’t affect my ratings. I would definitely stay again because it was good value for money!

We stayed there only for one night during Easter holidays and spent around £150 one night without breakfast. The room allocated was at the bottom of the townhouse; we are not sure if the air conditioning was working or not. A bit cold during the night…the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. No other comments. Nothing bad or great to mention.

Trip.com confirmed to me that this hotel is welcomed for children to stay with parents free of charge (with no additional fee) during hotel accommodation, but the hotel manager Ron said extra charges of GBP100 would be added if children are staying. This time we had quite a bad hotel accommodation experience but anyways, we did obtain hotel manager’s kind arrangement for complimentary breakfasts as well as late check out although we checked out on time by 11:00am. Well, forget it for this kind of bad experience soon I hope. Thank you!

Quick and smooth check in no problems. Parking quite full but still got parking even though it was 6pm. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Not in the centre but bus stop less then 2minutes walk and about a 5 minute journey. Great value hotel.

Erstaunlicher Service, alle Mitarbeiter, der Manager Concierge, Restaurant-Personal, kann sie einfach nicht stimmen. Ich würde ihnen 100% geben. Paid for all your needs , Selbst die Gegend, die es ist wunderschöner Blick. Jeder hier bleiben? Nun genießen Sie ihren Aufenthalt würde ich es definitiv fünf Sterne nennen. Der Spa war auch erstaunlich. Wird sicher wieder hier sein .

It was a wonderful experience in the hotel. Firstly I would like to really appreciate the service of the receptionist named “Nina “. She made our stay really great by managing arrangements for our anniversary day with her smile. The view was great from the balcony in the hotel room. It was clean . Memorable stay , humble staff. Considering that the official website’s prices were quite similar, I went with the trip.com booking. I reserved a cozy room for 1 adult without breakfast for £113. Money-saving tip: I used TopCashback to access trip.com, earning $7.67 cashback for this booking. After I checked out, trip.com triggered an immediate discount of £10.46, which I applied to my next train ticket purchase. ❤️ Third-party Marriott members get perks, too! This hotel falls under the Marriott Tribute Portfolio, embracing a boutique hotel approach. The entire establishment dates back to 1739, boasting a historic exterior. It’s conveniently situated just about 3 minutes’ walk from the Roman Baths and across from Sally Lunn’s. With my Marriott Platinum Card, even with a third-party reservation, the hotel upgraded us to a larger ground floor room facing the street after matching our account, but it’s not advisable due to potential noise. They also offered complimentary à la carte breakfast. Breakfast slots had to be reserved during check-in, and we chose a table at 10 AM. The breakfast was abundant, and the restaurant had a charming and lovely atmosphere. The experience was excellent (the best things are free!). Unfortunately, I don’t have space for more photos, but I’ll post one of the restaurant later. The room was quite small, designed in a modern British style, with a movie-themed decor according to the posters on the wall. All the amenities were provided, with local brand toiletries available for purchase at the front desk for £25 for two bottles. They were decent, but nothing extraordinary to consider bringing back home. The minibar had coffee, various teas, semi-skimmed milk packets, and biscuits. The bottled still water was in an aesthetically pleasing canned form. 🌟 There’s an Elemis sleep kit on the bedside: temple balm/sleep mist/eye cream, placed over a hotel postcard, looking quite exquisite. The bed was very comfortable. ❌ However, there were a few drawbacks to this place… a bit unnerving… I’m not sure if I just had bad luck. The hotel corridors were somewhat confusing, and I accidentally opened the wrong room door once using my own room card. Strangely, the next day around ten o’clock, while I was in the bathroom and my son was on the bed, despite securing the latch on our door, someone managed to open it slightly, presumably seeing my son on the bed, and then closed the door. Perhaps it was a housekeeping staff member wanting to clean the room? Regardless, it felt quite odd… a little unsettling, to be honest

I had a fantastic stay at this 4-star hotel! The receptions were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the start. My room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with modern amenities, and the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of delicious options I enjoyed the hotel’s historical building.The location is convenient for exploring the city, making it a perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers. Overall, a wonderful experience—I highly recommend it and will definitely stay here again!

Central location helps to overcome the cramped feeling staying in the annexe. The car was parked at the other end of town and drop off was difficult to say the least but it is what it is. I had no reason whatsoever to check out the main building reception, breakfast area perhaps a bar and lounge area too because nothing pointed me there! So generally, it was a room in a loft space built to an ”average” measure. I never like shower cubicles where I tend to bang elbows and worry about breaking something when I drop the soap. Breakfast price was horrendous so no inclination to walk in on the hop to check it out for the 2 nights stayed. I felt detached, cramped and in a bed-sit like accommodation. It is what it is.

Erstens sind Hotels sehr schwer zu finden. Apples eigene Navigation ist falsch. Zweitens ist das Badezimmer im Laden extrem klein und es gibt nachts immer noch Wassergeräusche im Abwasserkanal. Es besteht das Problem, dass im Raum Nr. 3, der zu spät gemeldet wurde und nicht von selbst gelöst werden kann, kein heißes Wasser zugeführt werden kann. Schließlich ist der Parkplatz klein. Obwohl die Parkplätze in Bath sehr klein sind, ist dies das einzige Hotel in Großbritannien, das mir 15 Pfund pro Nacht berechnet hat. Ernsthaft nicht zu empfehlen.
