Great location and close to everything we wanted to do while visiting. Easy walk to many restaurants. Good hotel breakfast with lots of selections. Shout out to Mayerly Vasquez; always very attentive and coffee cup was never empty. We also utilized the gym which was nice to have; however, it definitely needs some improvements - no TV, very warm, sometimes no water available and equipment is old. I recommend this hotel and will go back for sure.

Auch wenn es meiner Meinung nach kein 5 Sterne Hotel mehr ist ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis gut. Wir haben 120€ für ein Doppelzimmer für zwei Nächte bezahlt. Mehr wäre es mir aber auch nicht wert. Der Poolbereich ist perfekt zum entspannen. Frühstück war in Ordnung aber nichts besonderes. Zimmer war auch sehr schön. Manchmal hat man das Gefühl das Hotel läuft seinem alten Ruf hinterher, da es an manschen stellen schon etwas heruntergekommen ist. Man merkt einfach das es seine besten Zeiten schon hinter sich hat. Das Hotel ist eher nicht geeignet für Raucher!! Wir mussten zum rauchen das Hotel immer komplett verlassen.

I just ended a month’s stay in Barranquilla as a Diamond member of the Hilton Hotel and IHG’s Diamond Elite. I’m utterly in awe of the service I received at Estelar Alto Prado Barranquilla. The attention to detail, and the care given to each guest makes them without a doubt number one in Barranquilla. A first rate service in everything, the administration, reception, the rooms, the pool, and the restaurant and the attention to detail as I Mentioned Before, makes them unique in Barranquilla. I want to offer my warm congratulations to Mr. Jorge Michaels the hotel manager for his excellent job and the reception manager Mr. Yheis for making me feel important and as if I were home.

After staying more than a week in mediocre hotels as a tourist this Ibis is a whole relief. Back to European standards with a modern designed hotel and modern rooms, buffet breakfast, so all you can eat, instead of the tiny breakfast at most B&B's. Location close to a modern big mall. Standard room is ok with a good bathroom, bed a bit too hard and the biggest downside you can't open a window, which is noticeable in the hallways as well, a particular smell as there is never fresh air coming in. Free indoor parking available, good wifi.
