I had a frustrating experience at Hotel Sans. I specifically booked a double exterior comfort room, but upon arrival, they initially placed me in a tiny single room. After complaining, they moved me to a bigger double room with a balcony—but it still wasn’t the exterior room I had booked. When I returned to reception to address the issue, they outright refused to give me the room I had paid for. Extremely disappointing service, and I will never return to this hotel!

Good for one night, especially if you need to go on the train at Barcelona Sants. My room was small, but just for a couple of hours sleeping comfortable. I liked the area, it’s an authentic neighborhood.

I booked a single room with a balcony, but it wasn’t a balcony, just a window that opened. Staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions, even at 3am.

The hotel has a convenient location, close to the metro station, but it is very noisy at night with huge sound from the roadside, and you can constantly hear people open and close the door.

The room and its unclean and even had ants, but after negotiating with the store was given the opportunity to change the room, but it was still very disruptive

Cheapest option you could find, decent place, but noisy surroundings. Metro and bus to the centre is very close

Vary well located near Sans Station.

Very thin walls, I heard everything people were talking about in the next room. Strange rule about leaving your room keys at the reception when you go out for a walk. Great location close to the train station.

Room was clean, tidy and spacious. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The hotel is also located close to Barcelona Sants train station (1 metro stop away) and it's easy to get to the city's main attractions from there (especially what I felt to be the very underrated Parc Ciutadella). Only caveat I think I would mention is that given the hotel's proximity to the subway, you'll hear a lot of gentle rumbling from the trains passing underneath. This didn't bother me much but may bother other more sensitive guests. Still, as a budget hotel Hostal Sans really stands out!
