Schönes Hotel mit schönem Pool und direktem Strandzugang. Die Zimmer sind groß und ordentlich ausgestattet. Lediglich der Frühstücksraum war am Morgen etwas überfüllt. Das Frühstück war aber gut, abwechslungsreich und lecker.

Dies ist unser zweiter Besuch als Familie bei Sand and Sandals. Das Resort ist schön und ruhig, mit einem friedlichen Strand. Die Restaurants sind ebenfalls ruhig und friedlich – sie bieten westliche, lokale, japanische und chinesische Küche. Es gibt auch ein kleines Café. Das Servicepersonal und die Rezeption sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer ist groß, mit einer großen Dusche und bequemen Betten, und Seife und Shampoo sind vorhanden. Das Frühstücksbuffet des Hotels ist groß und bietet eine gute Auswahl an Speisen, und es wird ständig aufgefüllt. Insgesamt ein ausgezeichneter Ort, wenn Sie einen ruhigen Kurzurlaub verbringen möchten, um sich zu entspannen und ohne Menschenmassen zu faulenzen. Der Transfer zum und vom Fährterminal verlief ebenfalls reibungslos. Wir würden für einen erholsamen Ausflug wiederkommen.

First time staying at Sands and Sandals resort and I think we would definitely visit again one day! Had a surprise decoration, thank you to the hotel staff for the balloons and cake and the beautiful set-up. Check in and check out was a breeze too, probably as we were not affected by the peak period. Breakfast was good too! Our second morning was more crowded but there were more choices too and it wss delicious. Room was comfortable and everything is provided, like towels, bath essentials, dental essentials. The connection of the tv was also a bit iffy but we didn't mind. Parking was also easy for us and location felt safe. Near to tourist attractions like Adventure Waterpark and Woodfire too! Thank you for the great service!

We used to enjoy Sand & Sandals. Our first visit in 2020 after COVID was pleasant, clean, and well-maintained. Sadly, the standard has dropped every year despite higher prices. During our recent stay, we were shocked to find rodent droppings on the balcony. Even worse, the balcony was cleaned without our knowledge or permission while we were out which is a clear breach of privacy. We came with 3 young children, and this is completely unacceptable. Minor issues like poor toilet cleaning or weak TV signal can still be tolerated, but rodent feces is a serious health risk. This place is no longer well-maintained and no longer safe. Definitely our last stay. I would not recommend this property to families with children.

Everything was great, the room was clean, and all the necessities were provided. The only issue was that we got a room with a damaged door, but it wasn’t a problem as long as it could still be locked. Definitely will come again.

Stay was comfortable, room was spacious. Restaurant Spices and Herbs served good spread of breakfast choices. Ordered food for lunch and dinner and was pleased with the quality of dishes. However, Chinese restaurant was too expensive charged RM33 for poor quality shrimp dumpling soup.

Arrival already bad. Didn't offer umbrella when we were arrived at lobby. We had to take down the luggage then park at the open car park without umbrella. Gave us rooms that smell badroom 320 and really run down. Luckily they changed the rooms for us after we complained. Rooms are Not maintained at all. Room service staff redesigned to do painting at the public area. Rooms not cleaned after more than 3 to 4 hours of informing verbally, called and even with signs on the door. Staff not friendly. Breakfast very bad, food taste bad, not fresh. Got flies all over. The staff at breakfast was the worst. Use really bad tone and we're giving us bad look like we shouldn't be there. The bathroom design was bad. The wc floor will always be wet as its next to the bathroom. Have to be careful. They share 1 door. Ordered grab as they don't allow grab to come into the lobby. Didn't offer umbrella again as it was raining, and staff is laughing about that. So I told them its not funny and requested umbrella or someone to take for us. The corridors to the rooms are very slippery when it rains. Not sufficient signage at all. Really rundown and again staff service really bad. Came 6 years ago had great time. This 2nd time really bad. Definitely will not be back.

Check-in was very smooth. The facilities were great. Breakfast was good, too. The only downside was that the outdoor bathtub was filled with mosquitoes when we arrived. We also extended our stay for another night.

Our family of 5 (3adults and 2 seniors) stayed for 2 nights at Sands & Sandals Desaru during June school holiday. The room charges are affordable as other hotels were so expensive. The room size is very big and they gave us connecting room. The beach is just in front of the hotel and you can see beautiful sunrise in the morning.

Booked for superior twin. However due to fully booking, the hotel kindly upgrade my stay to couple suite with seaview and bathtub☺️ Kids love the private beach and pools. Overall we had a wonderful stay. Definitely will repeat next time.

The room so huge and worth it every penny. Short vacation with friend to take rest from the KL city. Feel so relax and calm with the beach desaru. Love it!

Selected this hotel to stay over after a session of golf at Els Club Desaru during the weekend. It's decent and more budget friendly compared to other hotels in the area. It has its own private beach to hang around at. No complains for the price.
