I stayed at Grand Sovereign Hotel Kuta Bali from Jul 11th to Jul 14th. The hotel was great, the service was excellent, etc, with only one miss: I forgot my laptop charger and left it in hotel meeting room. After I flew back home to Java, I finally realized that I forgot my charger and immediately look a way to contact the hotel. Well, the response was quick and one of the hotel staff, Ms. ANGEL/ANJEL kindly help and sent the charger back to me (I include the pics of the charger and the receipt of the delivery service). What a great post service! With this kind of service, I really recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. Thank you Grand Sovereign, Matur Suksma Ms. ANGEL/ANJEL. 👍👍🙏🙏

Dies war mein erster Aufenthalt an diesem Standort des Sheraton. Jede einzelne Minute unseres Aufenthalts war absolut unglaublich. Anggi checkte uns ein und war so freundlich und gastfreundlich, sie hat wirklich eine sehr herzliche Ausstrahlung und ist in der besten Position vor dem Haus, um neue Gäste zu begrüßen. Unser Zimmer war noch nicht fertig, und als es fertig war, kontaktierte mich Anggi umgehend über WhatsApp, und als wir im Zimmer ankamen, war unser Gepäck bereits da, was sehr praktisch war. Der Frühstücksservice ist tadellos. Das Personal begrüßt Sie immer mit Namen und ist sehr hilfsbereit, wenn es darum geht, Ihre Kaffee- und Essensbestellungen entgegenzunehmen. Wir genossen die Sundowner an der Bar auf dem Dach sowie die Happy Hour im Pool. Der Service war immer großartig. Alles war immer frisch, gut zubereitet und köstlich. Das Hotel ist mit einem Einkaufszentrum verbunden, was sehr praktisch ist, und liegt auch direkt gegenüber vom Strand von Kuta. Diese Straße ist zwar wahnsinnig befahren und der Verkehr ist ein Problem, aber dieses Hotel und die Gastfreundlichkeit des Personals machen das mehr als wett. Ich kann dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen. Wenn ich nach Kuta zurückkomme, werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten. 

Die Hotelumgebung ist sehr ruhig, besonders geeignet für den Urlaub. Sie ist mit Vogelgezwitscher, Blumen, verschiedenen Blumen, Bäumen und kleinen Fischen ausgestattet und das Wichtigste ist, dass es keine Käfer und Geckos gibt. Ich liebe dieses Schwimmbad wirklich. Es ist sehr sauber und es gibt nur sehr wenige Leute, die ich in zwei Tagen schwimmen gelernt habe. Auch das Frühstück im Hotel ist super, alles, was man bestellt, ist besonders romantisch. Das Candle-Light-Dinner im Restaurant am Abend, gepaart mit süßer Musik, ist besonders romantisch. Auch der Service der Brüder und Schwestern ist großartig.

Overall experience was good. We have a pleasant stay. Directly attached to a mall, nearby full of restaurants and shops, very close to the beach. Very nice staff who greet you every time. Breakfast is decent. There are still rooms for improvement. Appreciate if the hair dryer can be permanently available in all rooms but not on request and need to request on daily basis. Sound proof is on poor side especially during peak season and there are some guests who like to make noise at 3am and hotel repair work that is done at midnight. The jam outside the hotel main road is super bad, a disaster if you need to travel outside.

My best friend of 20 years and I recently went on our first ever girls trip (we are now both 40) and booked our first 3 nights at Sun Island Hotel and Spa Legian. Upon arrival we were both delighted with the architecture and presentation of the hotel, both clean and modern, yet still authentically Bali and traditional. Check in was a breeze, and every staff member we encountered was not only friendly and helpful, but genuinely cheerful. It says a lot about a place when ALL the staff are that happy all the time! Particular mention goes to the Restaurant manager who welcomed us warmly by name every morning with the most beautiful smile and upmost of care. We stayed on the ground floor in a twin share room, which was spotlessly clean, with fantastic aircon. It had a small balcony big enough for one person to stand on to vape, and the absence of any cigarette smoke on the premises was a DELIGHT. The pool areas (there are 2) are truly spectacular! We stayed away from the rooftop as we are both sun sensitive and it is better suited to sun worshippers working on their tan. The 4th floor pool bar suited us perfectly, with plenty of shaded areas for relaxing on sun lounges. Yes, the decking is in need of maintenance, but from what I understand works are set to replace the decking starting June. I can't wait to return to see the upgrade. Although the pool bars were not permanently staffed throughout our stay, a quick call using the bar phone, had whatever we required delivered quickly to us with no issue at all. It was actually such a luxury to have that pool area to ourselves most of the time. The view from the 4th floor Infinity pool is pretty special, and I thoroughly enjoyed living my best mermaid life splashing about. Breakfast every morning was basic, but delicious, consisting of fresh cooked eggs to order, alongside a buffet of noodles, rice, fruit and pastries. Food service was consistently great every morning. At the end of our 3 night stay we were both so sad to leave as the location of the hotel is absolutey PERFECT. Close enough to be walking distance to all the action and nightlife, we felt completely safe at all times, yet far enough away to be silent of a night time when we needed to sleep (in super comfy beds mind you). After a hiccup at our next hotel within a couple of hours of arriving,that we both couldn't look past, we made the decision to check out and return to Sun Island. To our delight, not only were we welcomed back with literal open arms, we were offered the same rate we had been paying (was an early bird rate when we booked and this was now a weekend) but put straight back into our freshly cleaned original room. Above and beyond doesn't even come close to the service we received. A small issue with the aircon was attended to as soon as we made mention of it and the remainder of our stay just felt like home. We both can't WAIT to return to Sun Island Legian on our next Bali adventure!

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer sind sauber und riechen gut. Jeden Tag im Make-up-Raum. Lage in der Nähe von überall. Das Frühstück ist recht gut. Nur ist es für Kinder noch nicht verfügbar. Im Großen und Ganzen bin ich zufrieden

Really nice hotel in the ITDC area of Nusa Dua, easily accessible, safe and with a long pool and an Indonesian Style buffet breakfast. The rooms are a good size and very clean, well worth the price. Staff are super friendly and helpful, they are incredibly polite and accommodating to guests . Special shout-out to Dewak who was very very helpful throughout my stay here and helped me out without fail. He knows the area well too and so gave me good recommendations for coffee places and places to get good food and drink! Will stay here again for sure!

Der Raum ist tatsächlich sehr klein. Wenn es sich um eine große Kiste handelt, gibt es im Grunde keinen Platz dafür. Das Servicepersonal hat eine sehr gute Einstellung. Sie begrüßen die Gäste beim Einchecken mit einem Lächeln. Beim Einchecken bezogen sie sich auf die Bewertungen früherer Gäste und baten darum, im Gebäude 1 zu übernachten. Es erwies sich tatsächlich als viel bequemer. Danke Bitte wenden Sie sich für den Vorschlag an den vorherigen Gast. Das Frühstück im Hotel ist sehr gut. Nachdem wir satt gefrühstückt haben, können wir grundsätzlich auf das Mittagessen verzichten und dann quasi hier zu Abend essen. Nach drei Mahlzeiten darf nicht jeder BBQ essen. Es ist teuer und es gibt nur wenige Sorten. Gibt es Nur ein Begrüßungsgetränk. Saft und Wasser sind ziemlich schlecht. Es wird empfohlen, Laksa und Ochsenschwanzsuppe zu bestellen. Beide sind sehr gut. Sie können sie abwechselnd auf der Speisekarte bestellen. Insgesamt ist es gut.

This is my second stay in 2023 and it did not disappoint. I usually come with my husband and family but had a week solo and chose this hotel. Not only have we had wonderful holidays here in the past, being on my own, I liked the idea of security at the gate. I stayed in a pool view deluxe and although these rooms are a little dated, it was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Having a welcome platter of fruit was a lovely touch and much appreciated. The lovely staff are another reason we return again and again to this hotel. Lintang is a wonderful asset to this hotel and makes me feel like family. Wirik in the restaurant realised I was travelling alone and went out of her way to ensure I was comfortable and had a friendly smile and chat for me each morning. She does an excellent job and also makes me feel like family The pool is one of the best in Sanur. Perfect temperature and huge, so you never feel crowded and can move around freely. It would be good if there were more lounges though. Pool bar staff are lovely and efficient. The hotel is located a short distance from the beach and has numerous excellent restaurants out front. It’s an easy walk to night markets as well Lastly, the security guards were wonderful. Very diligent at their jobs and so friendly and helpful to me. The Swissbel is my go to hotel in Sanur. It’s such great value for money and its buffet breakfast is great. Try a themed dinner night as the food is sensational and great value being “all you can eat”! Thanks again Swissbel, we will be back!

Erstens war dieses Hotel wirklich sehr, sehr schön. Das Personal war freundlich und die Lage war weit weg von der Stadt, aber es gefiel mir, also blieb ich dort, also war es kein Problem. Es war schön, das Schwimmbad bis spät in die Nacht zu genießen. Für diejenigen, die keine Bugs mögen, ist es jedoch definitiv nicht zu empfehlen. Es gibt viele Ameisen... und Eidechsen... viele. Sogar im Zimmer... kommt rein... Ansonsten ist es eine perfekte Unterkunft.
