Hotels mit Balkon in Monterey

Ich war schon oft in Monterey und habe immer überlegt, etwas mehr auszugeben, um hier zu übernachten. Mein Aufenthalt war in Ordnung. Das Zimmer war sauber, die große Badewanne und die separate Dusche haben mir sehr gefallen. Die Bettdecke war sehr bequem, aber die Kissen waren nur dünn und boten keine Stütze. Ich war enttäuscht von meinem „Meerblick“, der sich als Blick auf die Backsteinmauer des Nachbargebäudes mit einem fragwürdigen Metallbalkon entpuppte. Wer mutig genug war, hinüberzuschauen, konnte das Meer sehen. Das Parken kostet über 50 Dollar pro Nacht, egal ob man den Parkservice nutzt oder selbst parkt. Uns wurde nicht gesagt, welche der nahegelegenen Parkhäuser zum Hotel gehören, und so landeten wir in der ersten Nacht im falschen und mussten doppelt zahlen. Wenn ich wiederkomme, würde ich das hoteleigene Parkhaus meiden und stattdessen das in der Foam Street für 20 Dollar pro Nacht nutzen. Wir haben das Restaurant nicht besucht und können daher nichts dazu sagen. Die Gegend ist schön, die Nähe zum Aquarium gefällt mir sehr. Direkt draußen auf dem Strip gibt es viele kleine Touristenläden und Cafés. Für den Preis plus die zusätzlichen Parkgebühren würde ich hier wahrscheinlich nicht noch einmal übernachten. Die vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen, daher erscheint es mir persönlich sinnvoller, etwas außerhalb zu übernachten und weniger auszugeben.

The location was good, a short walk to Asilomar Beach which is a wonderful coastal trail with deer, bunnies & lots of birds in the early morning (before 7am). Was a bit disappointed that no bottled water was available in the room, and the lobby was locked before 8am and after 9pm when we wanted to get a drink. The coffee maker has water tasting of coffee, which is not ideal for non-coffee drinkers like myself. Toothbrushes not provided. My emails prior to the stay went unanswered. It was suggested that we pay $20 for laundry, and we had to ask multiple times where they either told us it was too early / too late and then to look for housekeeping to ask on our own. Night time is quiet but day time is noisy once housekeeping commences, and in the afternoon we had several calls and knocks on our door from housekeeping when we were trying to rest. They did not wait for us to answer but kept calling. I'm likely to choose a different place for future stays. There are several in this same location that are not as costly. I only chose this because the reviews seemed great.

Unangenehmes Aufenthaltserlebnis. Zum Zeitpunkt des Check-in gab es keine Tür*** am Eingang. Jemand stand vor der Registrierung. Nach dem Verlassen der Frage ergriff das Personal an der Rezeption nicht die Initiative, sie entgegenzunehmen. Ich habe auch darum gebeten, dass die Initiative voranschreitet. Dabei gab es kein Lächeln. Wenn ich beim Einchecken ein Kinderbett beantrage, ist eines schlecht, und ich sehe es erst, wenn ich es verlasse. Das Frühstück wurde aufs Zimmer gebracht und es fühlte sich an wie ein Fast Food, Besteck aus Plastik. Als ich beim Auschecken fragte, ob ich eine Rechnung ausstellen könnte, warf das Servicepersonal zwei Blatt Papier zur Hand. Ich war schockiert. Ich fragte, ob es einen Umschlag gäbe und dann warf ich ihn. Die Details eines solchen Services ließen mich denken, dass ich in einem normalen Hotel wohne. Übrigens erhebt das Hotel eine zusätzliche Umweltgebühr von 30 US-Dollar, da das Hotel in einem Naturschutzgebiet gebaut wurde...

It was an excellent hotel & resort. The room was nice and tidy, with a bathroom with good shower water pressure. Its breakfast was also excellent with good and friendly service. Only thing it lacks was elevator, so I recommend the first floor room with patio.

The Hilton Garden Inn Monterey offers a convenient, comfortable stay in the heart of this scenic California town. While lacking some local charm, it provides reliable, well-priced accommodations for both leisure and business travelers. but one of the reception woman(seems like manager) is not very polite.

I really enjoyed my stay. The property was beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained, and the facilities provided everything I needed for a relaxing experience. I especially appreciated the cleanliness and the overall atmosphere. The service was friendly, professional, and attentive, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

Nice stay, nur wenige Minuten zum Meer, sehr ruhig, obwohl es kein Frühstück gibt, der Kaffee auf der Rezeption ist großartig, die Kinder haben auch Milch gekauft

It was a nice hotel the pool is heated. The breakfast says continental but it really just pastries, fruit and juice but it was good still. Be aware there is no microwave at least not in the room we got and the doors use old fashioned keys instead of key cards and have to locked by pushing the button on the inside when leaving a mistake we didn't realize till later. Otherwise its a nice hotel and a short walk into town.

Charming inn with large, well-appointed rooms. It was very convenient for walking to Cannery Row and the Aquarium. Breakfasts have a good selection of food options and Wine time was a nice addition before heading out to dinner. Parking was convenient with the elevators to take our luggage to and from our room.
