Die Hotelanlage ist sehr schön und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, vor allem zu nennen sind: Miturshan, Mateeshs,Dimitri Boss,denet,okitha und seneth. Es ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert! Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Außerdem bietet das Hotel einen tollen Infinity Pool, von wo aus man wunderbar den Sonnenuntergang beobachten kann.

Eine der besten auf der Insel.
Sehr freundliches Personal, eine kleine Anzahl von Zimmern. Obwohl im Menü, aber sehr lecker und vielfältig Frühstück. Panorama Pool mit herrlicher Aussicht. In der Nähe - einer der besten Strände der Insel ohne Wellen - Jungle Strand. Ich empfehle sehr, diesen Ort zu wählen. Andererseits, wer einen Blick auf den Garten bekommt, ich empfehle nicht zu stören - das Meer von dort ist auch sichtbar. Insgesamt, ein schönes Boutique-Hotel.

The owner, Anu, is incredibly friendly and always ready to help, even late at night. His wife prepared delicious breakfasts and kept the rooms spotless. The colonial-style guesthouse was a wonderful place to relax, especially on the veranda in the evenings. I recommend choosing rooms on the second floor, as the first floor lacks proper windows and has poor sound insulation. Also, be prepared for cold showers on rainy or cloudy days, as the water is heated by the sun. In the future, it would be great to maintain the current visual style while adding small details to the rooms, such as shelves, lamps, plants, or chairs if possible. Overall, this guesthouse is a great budget option for a visit to Sri Lanka. Thank you, Anu, and I hope to return someday!

Die Mitarbeiter und das gesamte Hotel gefällt mir sehr gut! Die Aussicht aus der Suite II ist atemberaubenden. Der Pool ist immer sauber, das Essen in restauran ist bezahlbar und sehr lecker. Laundry service zu fahren Preisen und Roller Vermietung ebenfalls wurde ohne Aufpreis besorgt. Danke an das gesamte Team.

GGastnutzerDas Hotel liegt auch in der Nähe des Unawatuna-Strands und umgeben von vielen Restaurants und Boutiquen. Durch die Naivität des Designs macht das Hotel einen versteckten Paradies im Zentrum der Stadt. Zimmer sind gut eingerichtet und sind sehr ruhig im Vergleich zu den meisten Unawatuna Hotels. Wir hatten Frühstück vom Hotel, das frisch und lecker war. Ideale Basis für Unawatuna! ***an ist ein großer Gastgeber und fühlt sich schön an.

GGastnutzerI can't recommend this place highly enough. Spotlessly clean, comfortable rooms, effective aircon & good WiFi. Superb location for the beach and all the shops and restaurants in Unawatuna. The family that run the guest house go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the guests enjoy their stay. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the Sri Lankan breakfast is an absolute delight. Complimentary tea and biscuits on arrival and complimentary tea, pancakes and home made Christmas cake on Christmas day. Lovely, genuine people who want you to enjoy your stay.

Ein tolles Hotel mit überaus freundlichem Personal. Das Frühstück (vor allem das Sri Lankan Breakfast) war extrem köstlich und die Portionen sehr gross. Ich habe mich als alleinreisende Frau wohl gefühlt. Während den Stromausfällen ist unmittelbar der Generator eingesprungen. Das Zimmer 14 im Zwischengeschoss ist sehr laut. Ich konnte dieses jedoch problemlos nach der ersten Nacht wechseln. Von den aktuellen Unruhen ist nichts zu spüren.

8 of Us ladies visited Angel Beach for a stay over night and the night full board was magnificent. Two ladies were from overseas and they are frequent visitors to Sri Lanka from the US and Britain. ”Heshan” our server is a young 21 year old man with a permanent smile which we saw even the following day after a heavy night service in the hotel. The Bar attendants, room service , entrance greet from the receptionist was quite pleasing that made us feel home away from home. The ambience , the location of the hotel the concept of angels, is heavenly. The starters can be a little extra yet we continued to indulge in the food satisfactorily. Please look after the staff who are doing an excellent job following the Hotel Mission and Vision. Safety for women was guaranteed and felt safe at all times and we will visit and recommend this place again. Good luck people, Maintain the good work . Ruwaiza Sela and her friends

The reason is I felt quite disappointed when we arrived, having booked directly with the hotel and asking for “Superior” rooms which bear no resemblance to the Superior ones shown on the well-known booking site. I initially thought we’d been given the wrong rooms and had to double check with reception . We had two rooms which at $96 per night were the most expensive of our trip. We don’t normally spend a lot on hotels so this was meant to be a treat at the end of a long tour. These rooms were pretty basic, smelt quite musty as they were built in to the rock face, had many steps to reach and the sofa in one room was torn. The mosquito net had several holes in it. I understand that Sri Lanka has had a rough time recently but to charge these kind of prices, especially in the low season is not really justifiable. The hotel really needs a good returb, and I noticed that the rooms below ours were being updated during our stay. Plus points were the staff - absolutely amazing, helpful and polite and the food which was delicious- try the fresh fish/seafood plates. Also it was really difficult to find! Put up a sign board! The hotel has some way to go before it can be accurately described as a “luxury boutique hotel”. Overpriced.

Пишу свой отзыв в сравнении с отдыхом в январе этого года в другой части острова. Для знатоков побережья Чёрного моря очень просто. Это Джемете. Для других подробнее. Унаватуна небольшой городок, полностью заточен на отдыхающих. Ближайший супермаркет с ценами для местных через 5 км., в Галле. Здесь же цены на фрукты завышены минимум в 2 раза. Пример. Папайя. Здесь 1 кг 600 рупий, в гипере 380 рупий. Банан мини Здесь 800, там 230 рупий. Кофе Здесь 700 рупий, около 2,5 долларов. Прямо, как раньше в Венеции. В кафе набор из : чикен, бургер, пиво, коктейль. Про хопперс, стритхопперс, роти и другую местную еду вообще не видно и не слышно. Рыба в очень ограниченном наборе, морепродуктов в обед ни в одном кафе на всей прогулочный улице нам не предложили ( это минимум 5 кафешек). Залив океана рядом. Зонтиков и пляжных полотенец нет. Теперь отель. Это тройка . Но даже двойку жалко выставить. Первое и главное. Расположение хуже нет. До воды 400 метров или около того. Своего пляжа конечно же нет. Отель на горке. Дорожка из камней. 100-150 метров дорожки в горку выложена камнями. Чемоданы придётся нести. Радости хозяина при нашем появлении заметно не было. Мы его звали и дозвались как то. Нас никто не встречал. Двое его молодых помощника очень красочно показали, что нужна благодарность за принесенные в номер чемоданы. Лучше бы они их от дороги донесли. Было бы за что дать денег. До основной дороги, где ходит местный автобус на Галле не менее 3 км. Да. Так далеко. Магазинов рядом, чтобы купить питьевую воду- нет. До море в пляжной одежде тоже не пройдёшь. На курортной улочке куча кафе и тук-туков. На пляже раздевалок нет. Слышимость в номере просто отличная. Все, что делают соседи , слышно. Общей зоны отдыха у отеля нет. И нет бассейна. Терасса есть . Только жарко на ней. И комары. Днем и ночью. Ещё у нас муравьи. Зелень вокруг. Но не для вас. Походить и посидеть на ней нет возможности. Видимо, она от другого отеля рядом. Да. Ещё очень важно. Я столкнулась впервые с грязным номером. Плед на кровати вонял немидосердно. Будто кто то очень потный в него неделю заворачивался. Стол с пятнами. Стала оттирать, оттирается, запах рыбы и консистенция чего то как мед. Естественно, шампуни, геля нет. В номере обилие светильников. Но они такие тусклые. Так что полутемно. Вот как то так.
