The stay was nice, the servants and housekeepers are helpful. The environment was very cozy. They served supper which is very soothing and warm during the cold weather, which is very thoughtful. Only thing is the toilet will have smoke smells from the ventilation fan, the smell gets stronger when i try to put on ventilation. But overall it’s a very satisfying stay.

We had a wonderful five-day stay at The Outside Hotel by Lake Fuxian. Our two hosts, were absolutely outstanding — friendly, generous, and full of local knowledge. We stayed in a lovely balcony room overlooking the lotus fields. The room was spotless, the setting was peaceful, and the hospitality genuinely exceptional. They also serve great coffee. For those who like the outdoors there is lovely walking all around. We've been travelling through China for two months now and this has been our favourite accommodation so far - and the breakfast noodles were the best! Highly recommended for a relaxing stay.

We are American expats living in Hong Kong and came to Kunming area for our school’s Easter holiday. We cannot say enough about this beautiful hotel, located in a picturesque village along the northeastern coast of Fuxian Lake. Positives: 1. the location is AMAZING. The village itself feels very Mediterranean and houses over 30 boutique-style hotels. 2. This specific hotel has the most beautiful Chinese garden. My husband and I spent ample time just sitting in the garden chatting and looking at the beautiful flowers. They also have a basket swing our kids played on. 3. The design of the hotel is beautiful…..thatched roofing and wooden doors on the outside, reeded ceilings with wooden beams on the inside…..it all looked so warm and lovely. 4. Our specific room was a 2-level lake view family suite that had a terrace outside the upper level bedroom (which was the “master”). The view from this upper bedroom was so gorgeous….prime view of the lake. 5. The bathroom in our suite was modern and seemed to have some kind of heating fan over the shower area which was an added bonus. 6. The breakfast was traditional Chinese style. By this time, we were at the end of our trip and were a bit tired of rice noodles for breakfast (we are used to western-style breakfasts), but as soon as we tasted this hotel’s rice noodles, it was easy to forget we were tired of them. They were delicious! The owner also served us steamed milk and some kind of sweet steamed bread. It was all very tasty! Negatives: I truly do not have any. And I usually always have something I critique about hotels. But this place was truly a 5-star stay for us. It was gorgeous and the owner was so sweet.

5-Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A truly wonderful hotel, impeccably curated down to every detail, from the color palette to the lighting, everything feels thoughtfully designed. The manager was incredibly kind and welcoming from the start, offering us local teas and explaining their origins with genuine passion, which we really appreciated. Breakfast is simple yet very good, with fresh, well-chosen products. Highly recommended: elegant atmosphere, impeccable hospitality, and an attention to guests that truly makes a difference. We’ll gladly return!

Hygiene ist gut gemacht 👍 Ich bin ein sehr schwieriger Mensch, aber ich fühle mich auch zufrieden 👍 Das Zimmer verfügt über einen Waschmaschine, es ist sehr bequem zu spielen, 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Museum entfernt. Das Zimmer hat einen kleinen Hof, der sehr gemütlich ist, weil es nicht früher war, aber es fühlt sich gut 👌

Ich bin zu viele Überraschungen, dass dieses Hotel zu viel geliefert hat! Um die Sonne zu sehen, habe ich das Landschaftszimmer mit dem Balkon spezifisch festgelegt. Es ist nicht enttäuscht, dass ich am ersten Tag des nächsten Besuchs den super schönen Sonnenuntergang im Balkon mit einem Wind gesehen habe. Die hohe Sichtbarkeit am Abend ist auch der Himmel voll. Am nächsten Morgen war der verhärtete Tee-See so leuchtend. Eine Tasse Tee oder ein Kaffee kann einen Nachmittag bleiben. Der Chef war sehr enthusiastisch und aufmerksam, das Zimmer war sehr sauber und sauber und schlief sehr lecker. Ein kleiner Schritt um die Stadt ist der Ort, an dem warmes Essen gegessen wird. Das Rote Internet-Kanal ist nicht weit weg. Der Preis für das Hotel ist sehr hoch!

Großer Ort zum Aufenthalt! Wir wurden auf eine Wohnung mit erstaunlicher Aussicht upgradiert. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und so komfortabel, mit einem schönen weichen Bett (gut zu wissen für Europäer wie uns). Die Eigentümer und die Janitoren, die im Feriendorf arbeiten, waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Ein großer Ort, um sich zu entspannen!

Nice local hotel close to the lake. Spacious and comfortable room, but could be cleaner. However, the sheets and towels were fresh and smelled nice, which is the most important. Also, there was no strong cigarette smoke smell in the room, which is always great. The food at the hotel's restaurant was really tasty, recommended! The family running the hotel is very nice too.
