if i could give it 0 or negative stars i would! my mom and i came from 4 hours away in order to get away for the weekend and enjoy a swimming pool, as im on bed rest while pregnant & close to birthing my first child. when we arrived, the pool was discolored (a light greenish color) and the parking lot was almost vacant. first red flag(s)! we entered and there was nobody at the desk to greet us; when they finally came to the desk, we were hardly spoken to. we asked if the pool was in use where we were further informed it was not, but was not given a reason besides “maintenance”, we proceeded to ask why it wasn’t on the website as that was the sole reason for booking, and we were again not given a solid answer. we proceeded to our room to figure out what we would do next, where we were then told the general manager was on vacation and the best we could do is pay for another hotel and “hope for a refund when he returns”. while speaking with guest helpline, we found a push pin needle in the carpet, the fridge was not cold, nor was it stable. the paint was peeling off of the dresser, the walls & the shower was disgusting. we had no microwave, no chair, no bucket for ice, and the bathroom was dirty. VERY unhappy and not pleased at all.
