Very rude receptionists when I asked for return of deposit taken at checkin even though room had been paid for in full. Was told it would take a few days and if it didn’t come into my account to contact my bank because they sometimes hold onto money and don’t pay it in. Complete rubbish!!! I’m sure my credit card company would be interested to know about this policy to refuse to return deposits at checkout … attitude of male receptionist spoiled my stay I was made to feel uncomfortable because I asked for return of deposit. Would not stay here again or recommend based on this.

Das Einchecken dauerte etwas länger als ein 5-Sterne-Hotel sollte sein. Ich bin um 1 Uhr nach einem Übernachtflug angekommen und benötigt einen Ruhezustand. Das Zimmer war nicht bereit, so gut kann ich warten. Bis 3 Uhr war es noch nicht bereit... nur in das Zimmer um 4 Uhr schließlich. Der erste Eindruck ist zerstört.

While everything about this hotel was excellent, the staff stood out. Whether reception, room cleaners, or the concierge, they couldn’t have been more helpful and pleasant. The rooms have floor to ceiling windows and are up to date with electronic features such as touch lighting. A 10 minute walk takes you to the harbour with a vast variety of restaurants and the Maritime Museum. As well it is only a 2 block walk to Queens Street with upscale and regular shopping. The location couldn’t be better. A skywalk takes you to the Sky Needle as well

Die Barclay Suites befinden sich in einer sehr guten Lage, obwohl der Bereich derzeit unter Straßenbau vorne ist. Die Rezeption-Personal war sehr freundlich und auf unsere Anfragen und Bedürfnisse zugeschnitten. Das 2-Zimmer-Suite, 2-Zimmer-Suite war sehr bequem auf unseren Reisen zu haben. Es ist ein großes Angebot nicht viele der anderen Hotels haben. Die Reinigung war jedoch nicht bis zu par, da es mehrere verfärbte Möbel, Pilze-Fälle mit Abfällen, Schmutz und Staub in der ganzen Einheit gab. Einheit könnte eine sehr gute gründliche Reinigung verwenden, um sie zu standardisieren. Darüber hinaus sind die beiden in einem Waschtrockner nicht sehr gut. Machen unsere Weiße grau und nicht richtig trocknen. Die Zyklen sind Stunden, etwa 4 Stunden länger, so dass es nicht wirklich effizient oder überhaupt nutzbar.

Kids wanted pizza. The pepperoni was actually a peppercorn salami which the kids really didn’t like.. the pizza was also extremely cheese.. as in over the top cheese. Even the kids couldn’t finish all the cheese. The rooms are definitely not for a family of four. Our girls are small but you absolutely cannot maneuver around the room with bumping in to each other. And because we are a family, we have two suitcases, which have to go on the floor (very valuable real estate lost there). So we were constantly have to open and close and shuffle our suitcases to get our stuff. Other than that, the room did its job for two nights. It was clean and the staff were accommodating as they could be.

Clean and new hotel. However, the pillows were too soft/flat and not enough hangers provided. Location was great! Except that it’s on a slope, so there’s climbing up and down when u wana go out and get back. There’s road works going on just outside. Breakfast spread was ok. Overall a comfortable stay.

Während des Aufenthalts (5. Tag, 4. Nacht) gab es keine Hausaufbewahrung. Sie müssen in Trip.com Hotel reservieren, es sei denn, Trip.com hat keine Zimmer. Normalerweise nehmen Sie keine Reservierung vor. Ich schätze Trip.com wirklich. The kids loved their own separate sleeping area which had a single bed and a bunk bed that is capable of housing up to 4 kids. Room price included a complimentary visit to the top of the sky tower.

The room was furnished with a very comfortable bed and bathroom was huge. Even though the AKL airport runway was visible from the room, due to double pane glass windows, we did not hear sounds of jets taking off or landing.
Highly recommended if staying to catch early flight out to save time and hassle

FFungThe hotel have an open kitchen, good to communicate with my boys while cooking. The hotel also have washing machine and dryer, very convenience for long staying. The hotel staffs are friendly.
The room service is by requested on or before noon time one day before. We forgot to request 2 days, the dirty towels like a small mountain in the bathroom. I called the house keeping 10 times and only got 1 time had been answered. I need to go down to the reception to get the salt , pepper, dish wash detergent, towels etc. There is only one air-con unit in the living room, bedrooms doesn't have, the fans in the bedrooms are not working properly.

Das Bett war sehr komfortabel und ich war so froh, Federn-Kleidung zu haben! Einige Seitenleuchten wären nützlich. Das Badezimmer war spotless und die Körperprodukte waren sehr nett.
Großes Frühstücksbuffet, großes Kaffee- und Eistation.
Wir erwarteten ein Bett nach einem langen Flug, ankommen in der Mitte der Nacht, wir haben so viel mehr und werden zurück sein

GGastnutzerThis hotel is a great value choice if you're arriving in Auckland and want to establish a base. My sister and I stayed there on 10th-11th July as I had made the reservation because of the hotels proximity to Auckland Airports and to Snap Rentals, a car hire company (very good) I have used before in NZ. We called the hotel reception and shortly afterwards they collected us (Exit door 9) in a minibus. Our transfer to our hotel took about 12 minutes. Check-in was quick, our room was very clean, en-suite, the beds were comfortable and we had a fridge and usual toiletry accessories. Food and beverages were still available (at 23.20hrs) from the bar.
We both slept well and the next morning, a transfer service was available back to the airport to very near the car hire business location, but the driver very kindly took me directly to Snap Rentals, and I returned to the hotel which has easily accessible ample free parking to collect my sister.
As the hotel had been so good, fantastic value and the staff had been so helpful, I decided to re-book for 15th-16th July for the night before our return flight to the UK. Once again, a great value price with the helpful service as on our previous visit. My sister ordered some food on this occasion - and it was very good and again, great value. Don't be put off by the remarkably keen prices, this is a great little hotel with more to offer than we had time to enjoy (swimming pool etc). I'd highly recommend it.

GGastnutzerI am very thankful got to stay at Airport Kiwi Motel as I left my bag on the yellow bus and reception gentleman helped me to track it back for me wothout missing anything. The room is spacious and cups and bowls with other kitchen items are very helpful and clean. just that i heard neighour room's noise like kids talking and adult snooring :D I will book again if i need to change flights in short days.

I also appreciated the hotel's fitness center and business center, which were both well-equipped and easily accessible.
One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The hotel's restaurant served a delicious breakfast buffet, with a wide range of options to suit all tastes. I also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, which offered a great selection of local and international dishes. The food was tasty, well-presented, and reasonably priced.
Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the Gateway Airport Hotel in Mangere. The combination of excellent service, modern facilities, and delicious food made for a truly enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and memorable place to stay in Auckland.
