Booked Novotel at AKL airport since it was the closest hotel. Room was fantastic and since we had a flight out the next day, saved a lot of stress of getting a shuttle bus with our bags. The room was furnished with a very comfortable bed and bathroom was huge. Even though the AKL airport runway was visible from the room, due to double pane glass windows, we did not hear sounds of jets taking off or landing. Highly recommended if staying to catch early flight out to save time and hassle

Es war nur ein kurzer Aufenthalt, aber es war sehr bequem, angesichts der kurzen Spaziergang vom Flughafen zum Hotel!

Absolut super ist der Airportshuttlebus. Wir sind die 800 m vom Airport (Arrivel) mit unserem ganzen Gepäck gelaufen. Im Hotel haben wir erfahren, dass es einen Bus direkt vom Hotel zum Fluhafen gibt (mit genügend Platz für Gepäck) für 6 NZ$ ab 12 Jahren. Wir haben die erste Fahrt um 5:21 Uhr genommen und wurden direkt zum ”domestic departure” (Inlandsflüge) geshuttelt. Was für eine Erleichterung!!!! Es werden im Zimmer Wasserkocher, Gläser, Tassen, Tee, Instantkaffee - und Kakao bereitgestellt (sogar ein kleiner Kühlschrank mit Kondensmilch) und in der Lobby gibt es einen Kaffeeautomat, Getränke- und Snackautomaten sowie ausreichend Sitzmöglichkeiten. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Rezeption war immer besetzt. Alles top sauber!

Die Lage ist durchschnittlich, das Zimmer ist sauber und ordentlich und die Dekoration ist im Maori-Kulturstil gehalten. Besonders gut ist, dass mir die Rezeption eine Karte mit 100 Megabit kostenlosem Notfallverkehr gegeben hat.

Das Hotel überstieg unsere Erwartungen in allen Aspekten. Sehr freundliche und professionelle Mitarbeiter, von der Eincheckung zum Frühstück. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel und ich war so froh, Federn-Kleidung zu haben! Einige Seitenleuchten wären nützlich. Das Badezimmer war spotless und die Körperprodukte waren sehr nett. Großes Frühstücksbuffet, großes Kaffee- und Eistation. Wir erwarteten ein Bett nach einem langen Flug, ankommen in der Mitte der Nacht, wir haben so viel mehr und werden zurück sein

I needed a hotel room with 2 rooms in it for 6 people. Somehow the booking booked in 2 hotel rooms with 2 rooms in each and therefore could sleep 12 people. I think it is a description thing - communication went wrong I did ask but the receptionist could not give me a refund .. we end up using both hotel rooms any way. This is not a complaint. This is only to raise your awareness to the description of 2 rooms - means 2 rooms in the one hotel accomondation vs 2 hotel accomondation The location is amazingly close to the airport. If you could start replacing the mattress it would make a difference. Nothing minor cosmetic changes will make the place come up a million dollars. Hope this helps Regards Gorgeous Le

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Gateway Airport Hotel in Mangere, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service at the Gateway Airport Hotel was top-notch. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. From the warm greeting at check-in to the helpful assistance with my luggage, every interaction I had with the staff was pleasant and professional. The hotel's facilities were modern, clean, and well-maintained. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a plush bed, a large flat-screen TV, and a convenient workspace. The bathroom was clean and well-appointed, with a great shower and plenty of towels. I also appreciated the hotel's fitness center and business center, which were both well-equipped and easily accessible. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The hotel's restaurant served a delicious breakfast buffet, with a wide range of options to suit all tastes. I also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, which offered a great selection of local and international dishes. The food was tasty, well-presented, and reasonably priced. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the Gateway Airport Hotel in Mangere. The combination of excellent service, modern facilities, and delicious food made for a truly enjoyable stay. Easy check in. Front desk customer service is awesome! Only one entrance to the hotel which meant the carpark was far away from our room. The foyer had an off stench every time you walked in. The room was great, especially for what we paid for it. The buffet breakfast closes earlier in comparison to other hotels we’ve stayed at so we didn’t get to enjoy brunch for long. Also would be beneficial to have a little sign for items you can order somewhere near the buffet as we didn’t know you could order hashbrowns. The only hassle we had was housekeeping. 2 days we had left early and arrived late to our room not done and the sign still on the door. One of those days, we had popped back in to pick up some clothes and housekeeping was outside our room when we came out. Excuse the guitar in the pic, was taking a shot for something else but here’s a snippet of the decor.

Wir hatten dieses Hotel ausgewählt, weil man in der Nacht 1AM erreichte und das Hotel zeigte eine kostenlose Shuttle die ganze Nacht. Auf unsere große Überraschung begann der Shuttle (gelbe Bus) bei 4AM. Also, beachten Sie, wenn Ihr Flug in der Nacht kommt. Das Personal war sehr nett,, sie haben uns einen späten Abflug angeboten, ohne dass man es fragt. Mikrowelle im Zimmer, Große Zimmer, saubere Bettwäsche, aber der Rest war nicht sehr sauber. Haar in der Mülleimer, Haar elastisch im Bad, man sieht im Boden Staub und voll schmutziger Finger auf den Türen.

I am very thankful got to stay at Airport Kiwi Motel as I left my bag on the yellow bus and reception gentleman helped me to track it back for me wothout missing anything. The room is spacious and cups and bowls with other kitchen items are very helpful and clean. just that i heard neighour room's noise like kids talking and adult snooring :D I will book again if i need to change flights in short days.
