Holiday Inn Express is one of my favorite hotels during my 2-week stay in New Zealand. It is located in the heart of Auckland’s cbd area and close to everything (shops, restaurants, bars, harbor). It is a 6-minute walk to the Sky Tower where you can pick up the Airport Express bus for $17 nzd. The hotel entrance is on a significant incline. The reception is on the 2nd floor which you can take either an elevator or escalator up. The cafeteria and small lounge are to the right of the reception desk. Breakfast was the usual scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, toast, yogurt, cereal, fruits, muffins, and other pastries. Due to the high volume of clients the 2 coffee machines were usually low on milk to make certain coffee drinks. I love the room set up. The closet is across of the bathroom and had plenty of room for your luggage. The shower is enclosed in a glass cube with wave designs. A nightlight in the bathroom saved on electricity if you need a little light to move around the room. The bed was comfortable and the a/c worked. The reception staff was kind to let me stay an extra hour past the check-out time for the room that I had with my tour. The room that I booked after the tour was ready early and I got to settle in at 11 am before my afternoon tour. Construction is happening around the hotel with the streets being torn up and a new building under construction next to the hotel. The hotel is well insulated that I couldn’t hear any of the construction.

The main advantage is the location, just off the main shopping area of Queen Street, less than 10 minutes walk to the Viaduct and Britomart areas. Supermarkets less than five minutes walk, SkyCity just up the road, etc. The building itself is nothing flash with a small reception area and two small lifts. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment on the 7th floor and the apartment was quite comfortable and had plenty of space to relax. The WiFi worked well. The small kitchen had the basics we needed to have breakfast and prepare a light meal and snacks. One bathroom was an en suite off the main bedroom whilst the other bathroom was larger and contained the washing machine and dryer. Unfortunately we suffered from the construction noise in the street outside which of course is nothing to do with the hotel, but meant we had to sleep with the air conditioning on rather than have a window or sliding door open. There was less noise on the weekend but there was still some construction taking place.

This is definitely the best hotel with top service in Auckland. We were on a group tour and stayed in several hotels all over the country, Horizon stood out as the most accommodating, comfortable, and friendly. It's just a few minutes walk from Weta, the neighborhood is clean, modern and convenient, surrounded by convenient stores and restaurants. I carelessly left my spare phone in a hotel in Wellington, and I am super grateful that the Concierge at Horizon went out of their way to help get it back... (it was a slightly complicated situation as I left New Zealand before the phone reached Horizon).

Schnell in Prozess, komplette Einrichtungen und komfortable Zimmer. Express-Check-out und nützliche Aufenthalt. Kleine Ausgabe mit Sicherheits-Depositbox, die den Fehlerstatus beibehalten. Jedoch Concierge helfen, es mit Schlüssel zu öffnen. Problem gelöst. Die Rezeption war nett und gab meinem Kind ein kleines, schlaues Spielzeug. Bitte schätzen Sie diese kleine Sache. Hotellage in der Tourismuszone und mit ****** verbunden, so viele Menschen in der Nachbarschaft mit Auswahl an Restaurant, Bar und Mini-Mart, die bis spät geöffnet.

Ehrlich gesagt, im Allgemeinen genossen ich den Aufenthalt im Copthrone Hotel in Auckland. Die Lage war gut und das Personal war freundlich. Die Bar war gut (obwohl alles wie alles in Auckland überpreist wurde) und die Pasta, die ich eine Nacht hatte, war wirklich gut. Leider brauchte das Hotel einen Gesichtslift. Die Farbe auf den Wänden wurde geschnitten, der Teppich brauchte Ersatz und die Türen würden nicht ordnungsgemäß schließen. Die Badezimmer waren unzeitig und sehr klein. Es war auch ein sehr lautes Hotel. Sie müssen für diese Anlage etwas Geld ausgeben, weil es ein tolles Hotel sein könnte. 3 Sterne.

Ich möchte Ihnen für Ihre Gastfreundschaft danken. Wir haben 3 Nächte in diesem Hotel geblieben. Unser Studiozimmer war sauber und hatte alles, was wir für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt benötigt hatten. Großer Service von Harshna. Sie ist erstaunlich! Danke ! Wir freuen uns auf eine baldige Rückkehr!

Overall, it was pretty good and very cost effective. Helpful staff. • Luggage storage room available. Laundry service avail on site (4 bucks for washing machine, 4 bucks for dryer & 2 bucks for washing powder), Ironing service was free of charge. • Toothbrush & Toothpaste were available upon purchase @ the reception. Hot water, box fan, kettle, small fridge, tea, coffee, sugar, clean towel, soap, shampoo were all avail. The first two nights I stayed, I had to use a shared bathroom, however, it was very clean. After that I extended my stay where I was moved to another room which included a bathroom. Also, perfect location as it is situated on the busiest street in the city centre where you'll find a lot of restaurants & shops nearby even supermarkets. * The down part was that it gets very noisy at night, you could hear the traffic & people on the street screaming. Plus, the mattress wasn't in its best shape.

Nicely appointed rooms, if a little small. Good bathroom space. Wardrobe a little small for two people for a few nights stay. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We had excellent service during our entire stay. Housekeeping staff were lovely and checked each day to see that we had enough coffee, etc. Parking onsite is helpful, if cramped, and does need good driving skills and a small vehicle. It is easy to get to places from here. A short walk to K Road, only 2.5km from New Market (walk, don't use a vehicle). An easy walk to Britomart and even though we did not use the buses this time, on a bus route, with the stop almost outside the door. We would easily stay here again.

Diese Unterkunft ist auch unter dem Namen 'Auckland Airport Kiwi Hotel' und Auckland Airport Kiwi Backpackers', die Backpackers wurden jetzt in das so genannte 'Premier Studio-Apartments' umgewandelt. ”. Als wir die Dame an der Rezeption angekommen waren, sagte sie, dass sie nur unsere Karte für die erste Nacht geschuldet hatte, wir hätten für die zweite Nacht bei der Abreise bezahlen müssen. Unser 'Premier Studio Apartment' war eindeutig ein ex-Backpackerzimmer, Unser Grasblick war 2 mt unrein Gras, das direkt in die Zimmer über uns sah. Das Zimmer war sauber genug, aber extrem unter Ausstattung. Wir hatten für 3 Personen gebucht, wir hatten 2 Handtücher, 2 Gesichtskleider, keine Handtücher, Kein Teehandschuh oder Geschirrspüler. Nach dem 3. Auffordern für diese Artikel haben wir endlich zwei zusätzliche Gesichtskleider als Teehandschuh und Geschirrspüler verwendet werden, eww! Die Küche hatte 1 Backofen, 1 Teelöffel, 3 Messer und große Lippen, 1 Glas, keine Weinglasses. Ungewöhnliche Tassen und Platten verschiedener Größen. Es gab eine Mikrowelle und Heizplatten, aber keine anderen Werkzeuge über die genannten Bitze und Stücke hinaus. Kein Eisbehälter. Keine Coatings. Das Badezimmer Licht flickerte ständig, es gab Rubbel unter den Betten, und nach weiterer Inspektion, der Feueralarm enthält keine Batterie. (illegal) Bei der Auscheckung wurde gesagt, dass unser Konto abgewickelt worden war. Die Bankkonto-Inspektion zeigte, dass unsere 2. Nacht zwei Stunden nach der Eincheckung abgezogen wurde und ein zusätzlicher $4.50 genommen wurde. Anfrage auf ihrem Chatfenster (wie wir unseren Aufenthalt gebucht haben, weil niemand auf das Telefon antwortet, jemals) und wurde zurückgemailt, sie erklärten, dass diese zusätzliche Kosten von Visa zu zahlen. Keine Erwähnung von diesem während unserer Buchung oder auf ihrer Website. Ich würde nicht wieder hier bleiben.

After 20 hours of traveling we missed our connecting flight and had to find accommodation for the night. The Jet Park Hotel staff took our call and made things easy including arranging for the shuttle to come to the airport to collect us. Our room was lovely with huge, comfortable beds, a refreshing shower and yummy meals from room service we couldn't of ended a stressful day better. Would not hesitate to use again as nothing was a problem with the staff and the room was relaxing, clean and peaceful.
