good locatio, good service but the price is a bit high, good for business trip as well as holiday

It was awesome to watch the Ships Tug Boats and fishing boats right by our windows. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast served. We had to switch rooms during our stay and it was great that the staff put our luggage in our new room while we out exploring during the day.

An Exquisite Riverside Experience that was perfect in every way. Absolutely luxurious with large passing boats that get your attention. Excellent rooms with amazing views. A Rolls Royce that will drive you into town? Why not? Will be back again someday for sure!

We stayed two nights at Canery Pier in a 2 room suite. We had a great corner view on the water with windows in the living room, bathroom, and bedroom. The room was lovely, but a bit dated. There were scratches over the walls, dirty coffee mugs, dirt in the corners of the shower, and the bathtub jets have seen better days. The location on the water is great and John who drives the car is wonderful. If you plan to walk the Riverwalk, it is about a mile into town (where restaurants are) and the Riverwalk is also what the trolley uses, so in some spots it can be a tight walk. Use the car if you can. The bar was fine. Reasonably priced and the $25 Credit a day usually is good for 2 drinks. The service was interesting... But there were some new team members, so you just have to be patient. I was a little annoyed at how unfriendly the Front Desk staff were most of the time. Rarely (like maybe one time did it happen) did they even acknowledge us walking by. You usually get a "good morning" or "welcome back" at most hotels. I wouldn't consider Canery Pier 3 star, more like 2. It was fine, but not the caliber we expected.

Our room was wonderful - the view, the spaciousness, and comfort. The sofa bed was the most comfortable we've experienced at a hotel. The spa was lovely and both the esthetician and massage therapist were friendly, professional and very skilled. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip to the coast.

This is a lovely hotel with well-appointed rooms, all of which face the water and views of the bridge. Lots of attention to detail and comfy beds. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We forgot a jacket in the room and they sent it back to us before we even noticed it was missing. Great customer service!! We will definitely return.

This is really a unique, fantastic hotel right smack on the Columbia River. It is unique in that every room has a view to the river and a front seat row to ship traffic. The breakfast was great and the $25 credit for the bar was a nice touch. The staff were extremely helpful and kind.

My husband and I had been wanting to stay at this hotel for a couple of years and our schedule finally made it possible this past weekend. When we travel, we intentionally pick 4 and 5 star hotels because we want a great experience. We have stayed at some amazing hotels and I am putting this one near the top. I love that it's a smaller boutique hotel. The interior is very well done and cozy. We loved our room and the view of the Columbia River, ships (!) and the bridge was wonderful (and I've been to Bora Bora)! The hotel room had so many great details ... multi-head shower, makeup organizing drawer, a beautifully sized EMPTY mini fridge where we could chill our wine and beer. THANK YOU for not loading it with beverages and trying to charge us for them like other hotels. There's a water bottle refiller in the ice room which WE LOVED as well as a free bottle of water in the room upon check in. They also provide bathrobes, slippers and plenty of towels. A nice, lighted closet holds plenty of clothes and travel items. We visited the bar for cocktails and bites. Both were excellent! Not a huge menu, but great for what it was. A $25 bar credit is included in the room price. We had one issue with an employee, but I communicated that to the GM and trust that will be taken care of. Every other employee was fantastic. The breakfast was fine, but really we just needed coffee. They could skip the food and maybe just do coffee and pastries as I don't think the omelettes add much (and would require less staff to run breakfast operations). We are very picky about our hotel stays and we were beyond impressed with this little gem. We will be back since we are now only a two-hour drive away. I highly recommend staying at this well appointed, clean and friendly hotel. It maximizes every ounce of its nautical charm. I am so glad we finally got there! (Next time we'll try the car service to town for dinner. What a great perk!)

Beautiful location very nice rooms with a great view. Easy access to town. All the staff was very pleasant and the commentaries were very nice Did not use spile or fitness center, but they seemed like they would’ve been very enjoyable, it adjusted we did not need them at the time
