"We had a reservation to see the eclipse. We booked 4 months ago. They called today, 6 days before our reservation to say “something broke” and they had to cancel us. They would not give us another room at a comparable price. Looked on the website and they have openings for 4 times what we paid for the same type of room. NOT OKAY!"

"We stayed at the Centennial Inn B & B in October. It was absolutely fantastic. The owners are great and helpful. They were very accommodating and very nice. We stayed in the room "Love" and it was perfect. The bathroom was located down the hall but we were the only ones to have access to it during our visit. Great 1820's decor and style. I will be be booking again next year."

"Relaxation, rest, solitude. I booked the boathouse knowing it was off season and would be very quiet. It was spectacular. The room is fabulously appointed with everything you need for your stay. I found guest services, Patrick in particular, to be very responsive. They made sure I had everything I needed and that I was well aware the restaurant was closed certain nights and what services were and were not available. Honestly though the solitude was what made the visit great! I sat on the deck without another soul around, without car noises or anything else and just relaxed. You can hear the waves from the lake crashing while sitting in the room and have a beautiful view. Pros: room was very clean, breakfast was fresh and very nice. view was SPECTACULAR. I can’t wait to go back. Staff was very responsive- they were able to provide a packed breakfast in the room for us one morning that I had to leave super early. Nice snacks and drinks provided in the room. Beautiful Christmas decorations! Bed was firm and the couch is lovely to nap on! Cons: requested a vegetarian breakfast and was given two breakfast sandwiches with meat one day. Not a big deal for us but if you have a serious allergy maybe double and triple check with staff. Definitely a couples room- the glass shower is see thru into the room and while the bath has a curtain for around it- it only blocks about 50% of the tub and it’s very visible to anyone in the room. Overall it was a wonderful retreat weekend. I can’t wait to go back when the spa and restaurant will be open although I worry that it won’t be quite a quiet if they are."
