Hotel Montané

Stayed for week in Hotel Montane. Staff friendly. Right beside rental shop and Gondola and in centre of Arinsal which was brilliant. 2adults, 2kids in the family room. Rooms are basic but clean. Food was great every night for the dinner with 3 choices for starters main and desert and different every night . Kids also could have adult meal which was great. More plugs in rooms would be handy for charging phones.

Stayed here for a week during family ski holiday. Very convenient for ski gondola which is just across the road. Food was very good, especially the deserts. Very clean throughout and very friendly and accommodating staff. Nice views of the mountain and river. Only minor quibbles was the rooms could do with a lick of paint. Excellent overall and if I was coming to Arinsal I would stay here.

Room viewed to ski lift. Nice clean room. Staff friendly & keen to help. i didnt eat here this time but have a few years ago. Great for transport buses stop very near. Did feel they have put the prices up quite a bit compared to the last time I stayed here.

We had an amazing week at the Hotel Montane. We stayed the 5th - 12th March. Everyone was very helpful, food was very good. Room clean and warm, we had a room with a double and 2 bunk beds (only 3 of us), so plenty of space! We were also given a picnic breakfast when we left for an early flight. Thank you for a great week.

What a fantastic hotel. The staff were super friendly and the food excellent throughout the week. Ski locker in the hotel is a bonus and the location, literally 15 seconds walk to the gondola station, is unbeatable. Rooms are well maintained and cleaned daily. Yes the rumour of cake, coffee and hot wine is true. 25 min bus ride into Andorra La Vella with the bus stop right outside the hotel.

Comfortable, good food and friendly Across the road from ski chairlift Afternoon tea, coffee and cake provided-free. Cold buffet breakfast plenty of choice. Evening 3 course meal. Staff very helpful and friendly Well done Hotel Montane

We had the pleasure of staying here for 7 nights. The Hotel is immediately opposite the gondola. Our room overlooked the mountain, all of the staff are extremely welcoming & work very hard to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Breakfast is a continental buffet with 3 hot choices, evening meal of 3 courses. Each course having 3 choices, the portions were extremely generous & it felt like an a la carte meal every evening. The drinks are a reasonable price. Mulled wine, coffee & cake is available in reception after 4pm daily. Kettle & hairdryers are in the bedrooms. Our room was cleaned every day to an excellent standard. Anna & Mark who run the reception are very efficient, welcoming to all of The guests. It is clear to see the focus from the entire team is ensuring the guests have an amazing time. We will definitely return, thank you to all of the staff.

We stayed here in Jan 23 and it was fabulous. The location opposite the Gondola is superb. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Hot mulled wine at 4pm was a bonus! The evening menu was excellent with a great choice throughout the week. Breakfast was great, again with lots of choice. Rooms were very clean and tidy. It was our first trip to Arinsal but it won’t be our last. We will definitely be back and will definitely stay at the Montane again.

This hotel is fantastic for so many reasons, it is spotlessly clean, warm and very comfortable. The rooms are a good size and the ones at the front look on the the mountain. The main highlight for me being a solo traveller was the staff who were all super friendly and went above and beyond to be helpful, and that really makes a difference. The location is literally 30 seconds to the gondola on the other-side of the road - you can’t do better than that if you want to ski.. Also the ski hire place is next door too and they had top quality Salomon skis gear to hire or buy some of the best I have hired anywhere. People have complained previously here about the sound of the river noise being a problem and that’s just ridiculous, it’s on the otherside of the road, and the rooms all have modern double glazing - plus you are in the mountain and that’s the sort of noise you want to hear! The food is delicious - a choice of three items for three courses and all left me wanting more and everyone eating seemed satisfied. Check in and out was speedy and the Andbus from Barcelona airport dropped off and picked up outside the front door and is super easy to use on the app - I even changed the time and was instant - no point driving much more comfy on the bus. Hotel has a ski locker and they charge a small daily fee. Defo worth the extra money for food and comfort than the cheaper local 2star hotels this is an excellent choice..
