Hotels mit Frühstück in Ar-Rayyan

Wir waren während der hessischen Winterschulferien in Qatar. Die ersten zwei Tage haben wir Doha besucht und sind dann in das Hilton Salwa umgezogen. Ein Uber hat uns bequem und preiswert von Doha nach Al Rayyan gebracht - Fahrzeit etwas mehr als eine Stunde. Das Hotel liegt abgeschieden in der Wüste und ist ein wirklich tolles Resort. Die Herzlichkeit der Mitarbeiter war direkt bei Anreise erlebbar. Die Zimmer sind groß und modern und mit allem Luxus. Ein liebevolles Willkommen im Zimmer war eine schöne Überraschung. Das Resort bietet viele Betätigungsmöglichkeiten - wir haben Go-Cart probiert. Die Restaurants bieten Speisen in guter bzw hoher Qualität. Der Service aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstücksbuffet sowie das Abendbuffet-Restaurant bieten eine kulinarische Reise um die Welt. Die A-la-Carte Restaurants sind ebenfalls einen Besuch wert. Unser Highlight war aber der Sonnenuntergang am/im South Bay Pool Restaurant. Ein Lagerfeuer wurde um 5:30h am Strand gezündet. Es war jeden Abend ein tolles Schauspiel - gekühlte Getränke, Snacks und eine wunderbare Kulisse. Ein hervorragend geführtes Hotel.

i stayed in West Walk Retaj Hotel for 7 days, it was a very pleasant experience the staff are so welcoming. Breakfast was huge and it had many option with the chefs frying the eggs for you with multiple toppings and smells that will wake you up.Fancy coffee machine and fresh fruits Room: very new they just opened the hotel, many rooms in the floor (only three floors) served by 2 lefts area's (each have two) with a big parking space in the basement. i remommand that you ask for a room near the lefts otherwise you will walk around 1 min or so from the left to the room. The room is small, everything is compact i.e the cupboard is just a corner in the room which a sliding metal door which does not block everything, the safe was on the same place where you keep your bag so i kept the safe on top and put my bag where it belogs & the automatic light is annoying i had to cover it so that it does not turn on when i move while sleeping The shower is amazing good pressure with the bodywash & soap available Location wise you will not sleep hungry, everything is around you from restaurants, coffee shops, cafes, etc. it is quite busy in the evening but clears by 10 PM with less traffic

Do not be fooled by the web site and nice photos of this resort. Their customer service is appalling. We arrived on Xmas day only to be informed that the only restaurant at the resort would be closed that evening, but we were welcome to join them for a ”special” dinner on the beach. Except there was nothing special about it. We were sat in the dark, with a table covered in sand, and chairs that sank into the damp sand. The plastic glasses and cutlery were also covered in sand and condensation. The cushions on the seats were damp resulting in our clothes being stained. And the food was inedible. Then there was the DJ who was playing a continuous stream of horrible and loud techno-type music all through dinner. Halfway through our meal the servers started to clear all the other tables and remove all the portable lights from the tables resulting in it being even darker on the beach. The whole dinner experience was unacceptable for a resort that advertises itself as a luxury wellness resort. In the end we decided to abandon dinner and go back to our villa. Only to find that our villa was in darkness. No external lights. And that our room key had stopped working so we couldn't even get into the villa. Be warned that the design of the villas means that the noisy pumps for the pool heating and the air-con are housed on the other side of the bedroom wall. This means that in the bedroom there is a constant loud hum. The resorts engineer came out to fix this by turning off the pool heating. So you can have a quiet bedroom. Or a heated pool. But not both!! The following morning we asked reception to confirm that the restaurant would not be closed again on any of the remaining nights of our 7-night stay. They said they couldn't confirm that, and they would decide each day whether the restaurant would be open or closed that day. And if we were not happy with this arrangement, and didn’t want to eat on the beach, then we could use the in-room dining and eat in our room. At which point I informed them that we hadn't flown 4,500 miles to the resort and paid £1000 per night to eat dinner in our room. But, they didn't seem to care. At this point we decided to have breakfast, only to find that the breakfast service was taking up to 2-hours. We were then informed that our half-board stay covered breakfast and lunch. Not breakfast and dinner. When we questioned this we were told that it was the resorts policy. Even though other Our Habitas resorts operate a different policy. Again, they didn't seem to care. In the end we decided that if we continued with our stay at Ras Abrouq then our entire holiday in Qatar would be ruined. So we decided to leave the resort. At which point we were informed that the resort would not be able to arrange transport back to Doha city until the following day. So we called the Fairmont hotel in Doha and they arranged a room for us and within 10 minutes they had a 4x4 on its way to pick us up. The 4x4 arrived at the exact time they had stat

The service was absolutely outstanding, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The venue was beautifully maintained, and the buffet for 25 guests exceeded expectations with its delicious variety. The staff and reception were incredibly attentive, ensuring every detail was handled perfectly. We truly appreciate their efforts and will undoubtedly return for future bookings. Highly recommend this fantastic place for any gathering or event!
