Montepulciano Apartments

酒店比較偏遠，衹能開車到達。我們從錫耶納開過去約一個半小時。開到皮恩扎需要約半個小時。 整體自然環境很棒。酒店接待處和房間裏面是非常簡潔的設計。 餐廳處於另一幢樓，內部裝飾貼近文藝復興壁畫設計。

This was a great place to stay in Montepulciano. Luca and Victor were both very helpful in getting us to the hotel and back and forth to the parking. Driving in Montepulciano is an experience - steep with switchbacks and stone walls and buildings on both sides. It is worth it, though. The views from the Locanda and from across the street were spectacular. Our room was lovely although the bathroom was very tiny. If either of us was a large person, I don't think we'd be able to get in the shower! Breakfast was delicious. Be sure to try the baked goods and the chocolate brioche, if they have it. Our first day, Luca was very helpful with suggestions of where to go. We had a wonderful time in Cortona on his suggestion. The second day he told us to call his good friend with a winery in Montalcino and we would be able to get in, but they were completely booked! Book in advance if you can. We ate at the enoteca one night and it was delicious. We did have a little communication mishap. I had emailed Luca a few months in advance and he offered to make our other dinner reservations while we were in Montepulciano. He confirmed these with us when we arrived, but when we went to Acquacheta for our reservation, the owner told us she had made a mistake and had sent a message to Luca a few days earlier saying they could not get us in. Luckily, she called several restaurants for us in the area and was able to get us in somewhere. Most restaurants were booked. If we had known when we arrived at Locanda, we could have easily made another reservation then.

Wir hatten unsere Hochzeit hier ab Juni 30 - Juli 1. Wir buchten mehr als 2 Zimmer. 5 Jahre im Voraus und arbeiteten mit Antonella während des gesamten Prozesses. Sie war erstaunlich, mit zu arbeiten und sehr empfehlen, eine Hochzeit in Borgo zu haben! Wir vermieten das ganze Eigentum ausschließlich für uns und Gästen für das Wochenende. Die Grundstücke sind so schön mit Blick auf den ganzen Borgo. Die Zimmer sind auch sehr schön mit einem rustikalen Tuskan Gefühl. Antonella und das gesamte Borgo Personal arbeiteten mit uns zusammen, um unser Hochzeitsende perfekt zu machen. Im letzten Moment mussten wir die Abendessensoren wegen Regen ändern, und das Personal war schnell, um alle Tische in der Innenstadt zu ändern. Ich hatte Gäste zu mir kommen und sagen, das war die beste Hochzeit, die sie je hatten. Wir werden zum Borgo für unsere Geburtstagstag zurückkehren!

Es ist schwer in Worten zu beschreiben wie schön es im agriturismo merigge ist .Man muss es einfach erleben! Unglaublich freundliche, liebenswürdige und hilfsbereite Eigentümer, eine warmherzige , immer fröhliche Küchenfee und auch die Putzfrauen und Gärtner sind alle sehr freundlich und bemüht . Die Anlage ist liebevoll gepflegt . Der Pool ist fantastisch mit einer unglaublichen Aussicht auf Montepulciano . Manchmal wirkte es richtig unwirklich weil es so wunderschön aussah ! Die Lavendelfelder sind ebenfalls eine Augenweide. Das Frühstück konnte man sich täglich selbst per QR Code zusammenstellen und für den nächsten Tag bestellen . Es war eine sehr schöne,vielfältige Auswahl an Produkten , aus denen man wählen konnte . Auf einer gemütlichen Terrasse mit schönen Tischen und Geschirr , hat man dann sein Frühstück, mit Blick auf ein Lavendelfeld serviert bekommen . Tiziana und Raffaele, die Besitzer waren stets bereit Tische für Restaurantbesuche zu arrangieren oder Tips für Restaurants oder Ausflüge zu geben . So liebe Menschen arbeiten im Agriturismo Merigge - alle von ganzem Herzen bemüht einem den Aufenthalt so angenehm und entspannend wie möglich zu gestalten. Uns war die Abreise sehr schwer gefallen . Wir waren fast 2 Wochen da , hätten aber am liebsten noch 2 Wochen verlängert . Danke für die schöne Zeit und hoffentlich auf ein Wiedersehen eines Tages!

Stayed for a couple nights in the Rossa Suite. This is lovely guesthouse, with our Suite being on the top floor of the building having stunning view of the countryside and other buildings in Montepulciano. Rossa suite was large with plenty of space. What I really liked was the communication from the owners. The day before I received a whatsapp message asking when we will be arriving and giving us general directions to the hotel. During the stay they would also message you to make sure everything was OK. Other points to note: - Location is about 100m from the bottom of the hill where the main entrance of the old town is. - The hotel is on the top floor, so you need to walk up 3 flights of stairs to reach. The Rossa suite is up another very narrow staircase. We were travelling with 2 large suitcases. It was OK for us but it is worth noting for anyone who may have issues with this. - Our suite did have an aircon unit but didn't seem to be working as the control on the wall did not operate it. When we were staying in June the temp was generally cool, but i imagine it could be an issue in the heat of summer. We did not ask if there is a separate remote control for the aircon unit. - There is a nice rooftop balcony that is available for all guests. Good views and there a chairs if you fancy a late afternoon drink. - Small kitchen area on the main floor. - Breakfast was at a cafe about 100m from the hotel. Its a nice historic cafe. The standard breakfast is just drinks and pastries. Through the hotel we paid an extra 3 euro each to include a hot option that was basically eggs and piece of bacon. - There are plenty of places for lunch in town but they do get busy with large tour groups and day trippers. If you are having dinner we strongly recommend booking in advance as not all places are open in the evening, particularly on Mondays as we found to our peril!
