Dies war unsere erste All inklusive Reise und auch die erste Reise nach Griechenland mit unserer 2 jährigen Tochter. Wir waren von der Größe der Anlage sehr überwältigt. Wir hatten öfters gelesen, dass diese in die Jahre gekommen ist. Das empfanden wir so nicht. Natürlich es es nicht brandneu und ein paar Bereiche sind definitiv schon älter. Es gibt das Main Restaurant und vier weitere (asiatisch, mediterran, beach Restaurant und ein Brunch Restaurant). Das Buffet hat für jeden was zu bieten. Natürlich ist die Qualität bei den einen oder anderen Speisen nicht so wie man es erhofft hat, aber das ist beim Buffet ja oft der Fall. Im großen und ganzen gibt es eine sehr große Auswahl und wenn man nicht ganz so schlimm penibel ist, dann findet hier jeder was. Die anderen Restaurants muss man separat buchen. Dieses darf man nur einmal die Woche tun. Wahrscheinlich damit jeder mal die Chance bekommt in den weiteren Restaurants zu essen. Das Asia Restaurant war hier wirklich sehr sehr gut. Da wären wir gern öfters essen gegangen. Am besten reserviert man schon von zu Hause aus!! Die Termine sind schnell weg. Die Cocktails sind überall auch ganz ok. Am besten jedoch waren die Cocktails an der Main Bar. Besonders abends. Das Personal ist zu 99,9% sehr freundlich und man wird immer sehr herzlich begrüßt und bedient. Besonders im Gedächtnis wird uns Vasilis und Maria aus dem Main Restaurant bleiben. Maria ist total lieb zu unserer Tochter und natürlich zu uns gewesen. Sie hat sich immer gefreut Maria wieder zu sehen. Vasilis ist ein sehr lieber und offener Mensch, der uns jede Frage gerne beantwortet hat und immer sehr hilfsbereit war. Es gibt auch einen Mini Club. Dort steht ein ziemlich cooles Piraten Schiff, was zum phantasiereichen spielen einlädt. Es gibt im Gebäude des Mini Clubs auch Gelegenheiten drinnen zu spielen. Mit Matten, Stiften und sonstigem Spielzeug. Desweiteren gibt es dort noch einen Pool für die kleinen. Dieser war für unsere Tochter dennoch etwas zu tief (niedrigste Stelle 0.5m). Aber sie war sowieso am liebsten zum planschen am Strand. Im Großen und Ganzen war es ein total toller Urlaub und für eine Pauschalreise wirklich schön. Wir sind eher drauf los Reisende und nicht lange an einem Ort, aber hier gibt es einige Möglichkeiten und zur Not auch Mietautos um mehr als nur die Anlage zu sehen.

I celebrated a significant birthday on a 7 night stay with a large group of friends and relatives (17 people in total, 13 x aged young 50+ and 4 x aged 20 somethings) at Aldemar Knossos Royal and it was the perfect place. I made contact with Mr Ilias Papadomickelakis, the Guest relationships manager prior to travelling to ensure they would be able to accommodate my group, as I know it is not always easy to accommodate large groups and also to allow us to dine together for my birthday and on another few evenings. Ilias was so helpful and accommodating and he assured me that he would try to accommodate us as much as possible. I asked if the restaurants offered a good range of gluten free meal options as myself and 3 other members of my party had coeliac disease and required gluten free meals. I also requested a gluten free birthday cake and was prepared to pay for it if necessary. I was assured that there would be a good range of gluten free meal options in all the restaurants and that was me experience during the holiday. I was provide with a gluten free cake for my actual birthday celebration and we were allocated a section of the Artemis (Greek Taverna) restaurant for my birthday celebration. I wanted advise and suggestions on how I could pre-arrange a day excursion/trip with my group, so we could all get out the resort and have a fun activity together and Ilias suggested a local tour operator and put me in contact with Fivos Travel who arrange a site seeing late morning tour of the Minoan Palace and an afternoon sailing on a yacht with lunch. The tour was not to everyone's taste as it felt a little too long but everyone really enjoyed the yacht and the crew was absolutely great and the food they prepared was really delicious. Everyone really loved the resort even a member of my party who had mobility difficulties and was initially worried about taking the trip with me, but she was picked up and transported to all the restaurants and other areas in the resort as required on the golf buggies which was also available to anyone else if requested. I particularly enjoyed the sense of space, as nowhere felt crowded, there was several pools, so there was always sunbeds available and each accommodation area had its own assigned pool as well as the 2 main pool areas. My room was a ground floor sea front room with beautiful sea views and it was amazing. We were initially offered a first floor room in the same block but the balcony was tiny and the ground floor room which I had originally requested had a large patio and it was much better for us. I would like to thank Ilias and all the staff at Aldemar Knossos who took care of me and my group and made my special birthday celebration such a great occasion and left us with such fond memories. Ich habe mit meiner Familie im Annabelle Hotel Urlaub gemacht. Es ist ein sehr schönes hotel mit zwei swimmingpools, stränden, gutem essen und gärten. Das Hotel verfügt auch über ein Spa, das einen besuch wert ist. Ich hatte eine kretische massage von Nasia, therapeutisch und entspannend. Vielen dank an das gesamte Spa-Team und hotelpersonal!!
