Beste Hotels mit Bar in Ambleside

Insgesamt hatten wir einen schönen kurzen Pauschal im Wasserhaus. Große Lage mit Blick über den See. Ich fahren nicht so benutzte öffentliche Verkehrsmittel, die leicht vom Hotel zugänglich waren. Das Personal war hilfsbereit und freundlich nichts für viele Probleme. Das Frühstück war großartig mit kaltem Buffet und eine Auswahl an kochenden Speisen, die auf Ihrem Tisch serviert wurde. Gute Auswahl an Speisen für Abendessen, obwohl ein wenig preiswert, aber was Sie in der Seebezirk erwarten würden. Unser Zimmer war ohne Spott sauber, aber sehr warm, auch mit beiden Fenstern offen. Es gab Tee, Kaffee, warme Schokolade in den Zimmern. Viele verschiedene Tee aus wählen, aber nur die eine Art Kaffee wäre schön, eine Auswahl aus Kaffee zu haben, als nicht jeder ein Tee-Trinker, sondern dass nur persönliche Wahl. Es war ein ganz lautes Zimmer, besonders mit Fenstern offen, aber neben einer Hauptrunde nur das, was Sie erwarten würden. Der Feueralarm ging ein paar Mal am Abend/Früh abend, wir gingen zum Treffensort, aber es gab einige Leute, die noch im Bar sitzen und das Personal, das noch bediente, während der Alarm ausging. Bei der Ermittlung wurde gesagt, es geht immer nur ein Fehler. Ich denke, jemand hätte zum Treffen kommen müssen, um die Situation zu erklären, anstatt Menschen verwirrt zu lassen, warum einige das Gebäude evakuiert haben und andere nicht.

酒店離火車站有段距離，但公共交通還很方便，岀站坐555或599都能直達，不過下車後需要步行500米左右。酒店提供的英式早餐很棒👍。 不足的地方：我們當天定的是花園景觀房，但是前台給的房間卻毫無景觀可言，因為語言溝通的問題，我們也沒和酒店前台指出，就默認辦理入住了。第二天我又重新點開攜程提供的其他客人同樣房型的圖片，越想越不開心，於是聯繫了客服人員，希望幫忙解決，由於客服人員的專業能力水平不夠，給我的解決方案完全不不是站在客人的角度，只是敷衍了一個我無法接受的方案，當即被我拒絕，最後攜程海外客户主管出面解決，才勉強接受了他們的解決方案。 作為黑鑽會員，對攜程的服務一直是滿意和認可的，希望這次是偶然事件，攜程作為一個旅遊平台對於海外酒店的供應商要加強管理，讓遊客去國外旅遊不因為語言溝通的問題，造成入住的困擾。

Wir sind gerade von einem 4-Tage-Pauschalreise bei der NDGH zurückgekehrt. Wir haben dort einige Male vorgeblieben und hatten bei jeder Gelegenheit eine wunderbare Zeit. Das war keine Ausnahme. Die Lage ist großartig und das Hotel hat alles, was wir brauchen, um unseren Urlaub außergewöhnlich zu machen. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, das Personal war immer hilfreich und das Zimmer war komfortabel. Danke an Diane und ihre Kollegen. Wir schätzten wirklich, was Sie getan haben, um unseren Pausen zu erinnern. Wir sehen uns bald wieder.

What a wonderful hotel experience! Everywhere was well decorated and spotlessly clean and the food and service were absolutely superb on all three days-both dinner and breakfast. What a chef! All the waiting staff were first class- just the right balance between friendly and formal. You really felt that they were happy and well looked after themselves too! Nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel welcome and really at home. A sumptuous and comfortable hotel (and not too stuffy either which we don’t like). We shall certainly be going back to Rothay Manor. Thank you to all the staff 👍

I live in West Cumbria but decided to book an overnight stay as I was walking in the area. I didn't want to remove a star as I had a great stay, the only negative was that the outside of the building looks a bit shabby, could do with a paint, as it doesn't give a good first impression. However, loads of good points. Plenty of parking. Lots of space and different spaces for guests to sit. Historic building. Good clean kitchen facilities. Really good reception, sells Dizzy Blonde beer on draft! Cake and snacks available. Really good breakfast, well cooked with proper bacon and sausage. Clean and tidy. Comfy beds. Outside seating areas and space for kids to play. Good base for walking. Comfy and clean beds. I think it was a bargain, I booked a bed in a shared dorm with full breakfast on a special deal and it was just over £20. Would I recommend, yes! Thank you for a great stay!

Myself and my partner stayed in one of the premium bell tents, we were greeted kindly at reception and given all of the handy information needed! The tent itself was really spacious, bed were super comfy and had plenty spare blankets for the cold (as there was only 2 of us in a 5 person tent). There wasn’t WiFi but the data signal was completely fine and would definitely recommend taking a fully charged laptop with films download or a portable DVD player if wanting that kind of entertainment! There were a group of boys in the text next to us that were pretty loud but it didn’t bother us at all, weren’t causing any bother they were just lads having fun. But definitely something to consider if it’s something that would annoy you! Only thing was that the tent itself had no way of locking it (when camping we would usually padlock our zips but for safety) but that didn’t make us feel any less comfortable again just something to consider if that would bother you! The kitchen and toilet area were left super tidy and there are toilets in the building if you’re not wanting to go outside. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!

We're no strangers to the lakes and we are no strangers to staying and visiting The Wateredge Inn. We stayed in July for my dad’s Birthday, it was amazing and such a lovely spot. last week we stayed in Bowness and we had a trip over to see our fave spot! We went for a birthday meal, and I have to say If this had been my first visit I wouldn’t rush back! The large portly man behind the bar was very unfriendly and for many years I can safely say the staff here have been A* however he was drab, snappy and a person who is never wrong! We asked for Cava with my partner being Spanish and his birthday it would have been a nice touch we rudely got snapped at and he said what is it the 80's nobody drinks that! (clearly never been to Spain) I do believe he was trying to be funny but just came across passive aggressive! I said Well who drinks prosecco to come back from his rather abrupt comment his right handman who clearly loved to stick up for buddy snapped and said why do you think we sell it! It was all very silly and unnecessary to attempting to argue with a customer who asked for a drink. The best response would have been ‘Very sorry we don't but we do have prosecco? but we'd rather have a very odd interaction & one which left us a bit off guard. I have left a 3 star rating because the food was fine and usually it’s a very nice place so I’m hoping we just caught the staff on an off day, I will say though it costs very little to smile but makes a big difference!

Bewertung des Aufenthaltes im Temperance Inn. Wie bereits erwähnt, ist dies meine ehrliche Meinung zu unserem kürzlich geplanten Aufenthalt im The Temperance Inn auf der Lake Road, Ambleside im Seebezirk.. Der Aufenthalt war für fünf Nächte im September 2023 und war für ein paar. Die Schlafzimmer sind gut mit komfortablen Betten und einer ausgezeichneten Dusche, mit Handtüchern ausgestattet. Es gibt keine Parkplätze auf der Website, Wenn Sie kein Auto haben oder wenn Sie nicht wollen, Ihr Auto zu benutzen, dann ist die Busbahnhof in sehr nahe, nur um die Ecke. Die Buszeittabellen sind im Buchhaus direkt gegenüber der Busstation verfügbar.

Had a lovely visit to The Three Shires last week and today we discover that it now has new owners! We have visited many times over the past 46 years (we honeymooned there!), and have never been disappointed. Last week the food was superb, and our stay was so comfortable and relaxing Thank you to James and Tony for the amazing times we’ve had, and to all the staff for their attentiveness and kindness We look forward to visiting again soon, and wish the new owners the best of luck in their new venture. Please don’t make too many changes, we love it the way it is!
