Premier Inn Alnwick

Stayed for 3 nights. Good position for accessing local area and amenities Easy booking in system, very friendly staff, breakfast was lovely. The bed was incredibly comfortable , with lovely clean room. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Standard facilities but shockingly understaffed. After a complete nightmare checking in due to an error by central customer services the room and facilities are as you would expect. However it is clear from the first minute you arrive that Whitbread have taken multi tasking to a ridiculous level. A receptionist that is expected to serve behind the bar and clear tables just leaves a poor impression on all arrivals. No fault of the staff but it’s penny pinching gone too far.

A more than decent Premier Inn. Polite friendly staff everywhere. Hotel was clean and bright. Plenty of parking available. The Premier Inn is on an industrial estate but it wasn't overly noisy. It's a few minutes outside Alnwick centre so very handy for getting into the town or gardens. We had breakfast - the food was nice, but both days things had run out. No fruit apart from some oranges, and no yoghurts on one day. Scrambled egg available one day, but you had to ask for it on the other. The bar cafe area is nice enough to sit in in the evening and have a drink or something to eat. We had some minor problems in our room, but when mentioned to reception there was a fast apology and the problem was fixed. We would certainly stay here again despite the small issues.

A great location for where we needed to be that weekend. Great breakfast, lots of choice. Staff were brilliant, very helpful, sorry to the bar staff we kept up, we were catching up with family and friends. Room was clean and comfortable, plenty of parking space.

Arrived Friday 21st at lunchtime and was greeted by Holly at reception who was ever so helpful to my group Over the whole weekend George and Lucy were also exceptional in our enquiries and helpful/knowledgeable too Well done to Holly, George and Lucy for making our stay for 3 nights an enjoyable one We shall return

Just had two night in this premier inn having been in Scarborough and Newcastle gate On a trip up the north coast this week and can honestly say had a great time all hotel staff very professional and very friendly having eat in Alnwick on the Friday night couldn’t help but notice how short staffed in the restaurant and Bar and waitressing the place was but the girls were all very nice and run round like blue arsed fly to keep all the customers happy. , food and service was amazing but come on whitbread shame on you they were so over worked. One girl was serving behind the Bar, waitressing and collecting pots and washing them , only one girl in the kitchen , you have great staff just seems like you over work them come on look after your staff
