South View House

We have booked the apartment last minute, the booking process was easy and checking instructions informative. The apartment is situated in great location and the viewed from the conservatory are amazing. Overall the apartment is well equipped, unfortunately our Nespresso machine started leaking but the host replaced it for us the next day. The furniture in the apartment would benefit from replacing as it looks tired. Overall a great place.

We,are frequent visitors to lovely Alnmouth but this was a first visit to Beach View House. The property is in a great location in the village with smashing views to the beach. Beach View House is a great place to stay with friends. The living/dining/kitchen area is ideal for socialising. The property is clean and well managed. We found all the technology a bit overwhelming at times. We never did find out how to put the light on in the utility room!! The second TV wasn't working and the beds were really too low for holiday accommodation which otherwise is suitable for those if us getting a bit creaky!! Considering it is a seaside property we felt that there should have been somewhere to hang wetsuits etc. We had a great break however. Alnmouth never lets us down. The baltic easterly winds were brual but we can't blame anyone for that!

Middle apartment was huge with lovely sun room and bathrooms but the amount of unnecessary tech in the house and the fancy bits and pieces was at the detriment of things we needed. A 2 slice toaster for up to 6 people, no draining board, a small, awkward fridge, bottles in the kitchen but with no labels on etc

What a fantastic ground floor apartment which had loads of rooms and space. We have two German shepherds, so the layout was amazing for them too. In all, the apartment was great; a few little things I would add or change, and the sky was a bit flakey in the lounge, but we loved it. The village is beautiful with fantastic walks all around. The views all around are amazing. We will definitely rebook, we tried for New year, but it was fully book, but we found somewhere down the street. Thank you!

From booking to leaving this review the whole process was simply amazing. Karolina is very chatty and answered all the questions we had. The area is amazing with plenty to do! The accommodation itself is lovely. Can’t wait to go back next year!

I spent the whole winter in the middle apartment and loved it, a dream space to spend time staring at the sea as the tide comes and goes. Lovely bathrooms, comfy bed and good kitchen. In a great village. I'll miss it.
