Delayed flight had us arrive at VAL after midnight, 65 Euro cab ride; we had a 6 year old, no cabs had booster seats...they wouldn't take her (1 finally did). It is a local hotel, not a resort; keep that in mind when you expect accommodation or amenity.I should caveat that with: if you speak Spanish, there are a lot of activities for the family, otherwise, there is nothing to do at the hotel aside from the pool. No English, but their website says that; I enjoyed brushing off my rusty college Spanish, but it could only get me so far in stores, with cab drivers, and with the hotel staff. So, if you don't speak fluent Spanish, just be prepared to get your Google translate out. Everyone brings their beach gear; no rental places (including at the hotel) which gets brutal when you are on the sand with no umbrella. Breakfast was fine; did not pay for lunch, dinner on 2nd night got a ground chicken patty (raw) and meatballs (raw). Understand the siesta; impacts pool times and bar times as well as the few stores nearby. The beachfront comes alive around 9PM; merchants set up, and restaurants open prior to to that, the few restaurants that are open are packed, and the couple of stores near the beach have siesta hours; plan accordingly. Within a couple of blocks there is a gas station and supermarket (Consum) that maintain regulars hours where you can get what you need. The mini-fridge in the room was not particularly cold, and it took along time to cool things down. On Sunday, there was a flea market near the hotel where you could get beach towels or beachwear for cheap as well as some local food. It closed at 1200 or 1PM; highly recommend if for no other reason than the experience. Cab back (left at 1230) to airport was 50 Euro; so, about 120 Euro in cabs without going anywhere else by cab during our stay. Overall, I think it is a bit overpriced, but, again this is informed by a language barrier. If you don't speak Spanish, I would look elsewhere.

Wir haben ein Wochenende in vollen Pensionen. Das Zimmer ist einfach, aber komfortabel, das Beste war der große Balkon, den wir sehen konnten, das Meer (Wir waren auf der sechsten Etage) und das war ein Dreifach-Standard! Die Dusche ist auch sehr geräumig wie das Badezimmer im Allgemeinen. Der einzige Nachteil ist der Fernseher, relativ klein für die Größe des Zimmers sowie die Qualität der Küken. Das Buffet ist für einen drei-Sterne-Stern variiert und der Preis für das Getränk ist nicht zu teuer. Das sehr angenehmen und Servicepersonal. Absolut empfehlenswert, wenn Sie nicht Luxus suchen und nicht viel Zeit im Hotel verbringen.

My husband booked this hotel for a weekend as we had been away for a weekend in Rome, on arrival we parked and went up to check in, not sure if the reception person was new but he didn’t seem to know what he was doing and it took ages, we went to the room which didn’t look like photos, the balcony was filthy and was the furniture on it, the room was old and needed painting and general tidy, hardly any of the tv stations worked only a handful of Spanish but not even bbc world, unpacked went for a drink, stood for ages receptionist came over gave order he wandered off and started checking some builders in so we were just stood there for ages. Eventually for a drink from a girl who also didn’t seem to know where anything was. Had a drink and went to our room with a pizza! Next morning went for breakfast same situation no hot water so I could get tea, women had no clue, we’ve used your hotel a lot in spain so this was very disappointing especially as it was Valentine’s Day

I fell in love with Barú and with the silence of the sea over there. I visited the place middle November 2023 and there were no people on the beach but still pretty warm and sunny - 23-27°C. The hotel is just perfect - not so huge but smaller with personal touch and just couple of steps to the beach. Clean and the stuff very friendly, they speak you up and help. Very nice chilling areas, big bathroom, comfortable bed ... and simply quiet. So nothing to complain. You will love it!!

Ich habe dieses Hotel reserviert, weil es gut auf den Fotos sah und es war alles ein Verrat, das super-Zimmer ist unwohl und schlecht, das super-Kleine Bett und hatte eine Ehe beantragt, Ich hatte einen Buffetservice bezahlt und es gab ein super arme Menü und zusätzlich das gleiche Mahlzeit- und Abendessenmenü für jeden Tag, war voller Schalenfrüchte. Der Empfang dieses Hotels gab niemand, der Sie empfangen musste, um die zweite Runde, die am anderen Ende des Steinchens war , und das Schlimmste, dass für den gleichen Preis, den sie für ein zweisternes Hotel zahlen, finden Sie Bessere Bedingungen sind Dinge . La habitación cuádruple es amplia y el baño es moderno, aunque con bañera que resbalaba y el techo estaba descorchado. Ventana con vistas a patio pero para una noche no nos ha importado. Tenía minibar que para meter unas aguas viene bien. Mención aparte la cena. Pensábamos que era buffet, pero no. Servicio malo, no sabían lo que nos entraba con la media pensión. Era primera hora y faltaban platos del menú. La bebida como en algunos sitios no está incluida. El camarero que nos cobró no fue muy simpatico y la chica que nos sirvió estaba un poco perdida, quizas era su primer día. Menos mal que a la mañana siguiente en el desayuno nos recibió un señor muy amable, además los camareros eran muy eficientes y simpaticos, así que nos llevamos mejor sabor de boca. El buffet del desayuno muy completo. Desde el hotel a Valencia capital se tardan unos quince minutos.

Sehr neue Einrichtungen und eine ziemlich ausgestattete Küche, mit Ausnahme von Schleier. Einfacher Parkplatz, gutes WLAN und eindrucksvolles TV. Sehr gute Wahl, wenn Sie in Auto und Silber Frühstück und die Küche verwenden. Wenn du nicht fahren kannst, ist es weit entfernt und ohne Küche würde ich ein konventionelles Hotel suchen.

Ein einfaches, aber sehr sauberes Hotel, sehr nahe dem Zentrum. Sehr neugierig, wie man mit einer Maschine Check-in machen, wenn man ankommt, wenn die Rezeption geschlossen ist. Es ist in jedem Fall sehr intuitiv, und es gibt eine Nachverfolgung mit den Rezeption Mädchen, wenn Sie Zweifel haben.
