Hotels mit Frühstück in Alghero

We were impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and the very helpful and friendly staff. This hotel is right on the seafront opposite a lovely beach of white sand. It takes 20 minutes to walk to the old town along a lovely wide promenade. The hotel rooms have basic furniture, air conditioning, quite firm beds, fridge, safe and TV. We were on the 4th floor with lovely views of the sea from the balcony. The bathroom had a shower, toilet. Sink and bidet. Also a hairdryer and a bottle of shower shampoo and a small bar of soap. Breakfast was the usual offering of eggs, bacon, cheese, ham, cereal, fruit, yogurt etc and a selection of cakes. There are two machines for hot drinks but the staff will make fresh hot drinks if asked. There is a nice swimming pool, not heated. The restaurant is also open to the public for lunch and evening meals. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at Carlos V again this year, just like last year. What made us really happy was that Daniela from the restaurant, the reception staff, and even the cleanup lady remembered us. (The cleanup lady even remembered which floor we stayed on last year!) Once again, we had a wonderful summer vacation here. To start, at reception, we were upgraded from a garden view room to a sea view room. The view was absolutely stunning! The restaurant staff were very kind, and we were glad we chose the half-board option. We also enjoyed using the pool bar. Although we saw a few negative reviews, after seeing how hard the staff work in such hot and busy conditions, I can’t bring myself to say anything negative. Thank you again for another fantastic summer. We truly had a great time!

Wie viele Gebäude in Italien sieht das Hotel von weitem imposant aus. Aus der Nähe aber sieht es ganz anders aus. Die Fassade bröckelt, alles macht einen veralteten Eindruck. Die Lage und die Aussicht sind top, das ist es aber auch schon. Wir waren mit einer Gruppe angemeldet zum Apéro und Nachtessen. Den Apéro wünschten wir auf der Terrasse. Als wir kamen war nichts bereit. Holzstühle und -tische ohne Kissen und Tischdecken, keine Kerzen oder Blumen auf den Tischen.. Wir mussten dann fragen, ob es mit der Anmeldung geklappt hat, was die Dame bejahte. Wir bekamen dann schliesslich unseren Wein und etwas zum Knabbern dazu. Beim Nachtessen (nur drinnen möglich) ging es ähnlich schräg weiter. Die KellnerInnen hatten keine Ahnung vom Wein (wir reden hier von einem 5* Haus...). Das Essen war okay, aber zu teuer. Es herrschte eine morbide Stimmung, da lediglich drei Tische besetzt waren. Alles in allem mehr Schein als Sein. Obwohl das Hotel zumindest innen noch recht schön aussieht, hat es sicherlich seine besten Zeiten hinter sich.

We stayed for 8 days. The hotel was very clean through out. The staff were very friendly especially the Breakfast staff who were always smiling. The breakfast was fabulous. Fresh fruit was on hand everyday to make your own fruit drinks. The omelettes and fried eggs cooked fresh in front of you. Great variety of cheeses, breads and cakes. They provided gluten free items also. The bedrooms were very clean and bright and the bathroom had a fab spacious shower. Kettle, tea and coffee were provided in the room. The hotel is setback from the roadside and this means no traffic noise. The beach is across the road where there are beach bars, beds and umbrellas. There is a lovely clean safe promenade from the beach side all the way to old town which is about a 15 mins walk. Short walk to train station. Good supermarket 5 minutes away. There is a roof top swimming pool in the hotel which has beds and umbrellas, the water in the pool is very clean but cold. The bar facilities appears not to be used very often due to its small size. This was the one area that let this lovely quiet hotel down. We went to the old town most nights. We were very happy with our stay in this hotel and would recommend it to others.

My husband & I spent 2 weeks at this hotel on bed & breakfast basis. Here is what we think. Hope you find it useful PROS - 2 lovely pools plenty of beds Nice beach, again, plenty of beds/brollies. We preferred to use the grassy area behind the beach which also has plenty of beds etc. Shallow water at beach - so good for kids Gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Location is nice ( see cons re flight path! ) and the views on a sunny day are gorgeous. Our room was adequate and serviced well. Lots of storage space. Although the website says they don't turn on Aircon until end June, they do turn it on if asked. They also provided us with a kettle in our room when asked, though tea/coffee/milk had to be bought at the local shop. Best WiFi we have ever experienced in a hotel anywhere. Strong in the garden/pool area too. Pool/beach staff attentive. All bar staff were good. A special mention for the only member of the restaurant staff who made a positive difference to our breakfast experience - Rafaella, thankyou. You are a star. Breakfast was ok on the whole but would benefit from an omelette station in order to have something hot to eat ( their 'hot' selection is lukewarm at best and by the time you get it to your table, it's cold. CONS - The sunbeds are very hard and have the choice of just one angle .. or flat.! We know these beds can come with a cushion as they are the same as the ones at Bombarde beach and they had cushions! I used my flight neck pillow a lot You are on the direct flight path for Alghero airport and the local military training airport which are less than 4 miles away so that should tell you how low they come over the hotel. Our bed in our room was so hard ( I appreciate that this may be a pro for some ) We asked for mattress toppers and these were provided which helped a little. The shower cubicle was very small and the water pressure is dismal. The drain in there was covered by a loose tile, and trying to shower whilst avoiding this obstacle required some skill. When it rained the roof above our room was extremely noisy. All in all I think we paid a lot of money for what we got. 4 star in Italy may be different to elsewhere maybe?

Das ist ein Firmengefühl Hotel, das Gruppen und Konferenzen zu betreut. Die Zimmer sind ok und funktionell, aber einige Probleme veranlassen mich, andere Aufenthalte zu empfehlen. Wichtigstens ist die Einstellung des Restaurantpersonals nah. Sie würden mich nicht in wenigen Minuten vor der Öffnung lassen, als ich nur die Sonnenaufsicht von der Terrasse des Restaurants sehen wollte. Dann waren sie besorgt, dass meine Schwester nach dem Tee in der Gesetze einen Kaffee beantragt. Die meisten enttäuschend, würden sie nicht eine einfache Omelette für meine Tochter, die Crohn ist, und vermeiden Öl und Butter. Der Server sagte, wir sollten Eier geschrotet oder ein gebraten Ei aus dem Buffet (was wirklich grundlegende war). Ich kann mich nicht daran erinnern, als ich zuletzt in einem High Star Hotel geblieben bin, das keine Omelette machen würde. Aber die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist wunderbar. Die 2 Aufzüge sind für dieses Hotel nicht ausreichend, so bereiten Sie sich auf Ihre Fahrt einige Minuten zu warten, aber das ist das kleinste meiner Probleme. Ein Lächeln und angenehmen Service bei der Frühstücksterrasse hätte alles andere viel besser im Hotel gemacht. Oh... die Lage ist ausgezeichnet.

Die Möbel lassen viel als Datum und ein unerfreulicher Geruch in dem Zimmer wünschen. Am zweiten Tag hatten wir den Reinigungsdienst in den Zimmern und das Badschuh wurde nicht ersetzt. Ich hatte viel mehr erwartet, was wir bezahlt haben, da nicht einmal das Frühstück in den Preis einbezogen wurde.

Schöne, naturbelasene Lage in der nähe eines Naturstrandes. Camping größtenteils im Wald. Zur nächsten Stadt fährt man je nach Verkehr maximal 30 Minuten.Der Pool war stets sauber und in der Zeit nicht überfüllt. Nur die Badekappen sind nicht mehr zeitgemäß (:-)) Saintäre Anlagen waren stets sauber. Manche Bungalows sind in die Jahre gekommen. Mit paar Investitionen auf dem Gesamtgeländer könnte das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sicher viel besser ausfallen. Wir nutzten Mobil Homes.Dort war alles,wie auf der Web-Seite beschriebenn. Preise etwas überhöht für die Lage-daher waren gefüllte Hälfte der Mobilhäuser und ungalows nicht vermietet. Ansonsten sehr freundliches Personal. Wir würden wieder kommen, sofern paa Schönheits im Camping gätätigt wären, ansonsten nicht zu dem Preis.
