Der Hotelaufenthalt war weit weniger zufriedenstellend und hier sind die Gründe: 1. Einige Front Desk-Mitarbeiter wussten nicht, wie das Bonvoy Ambassador Hotel Kredit funktionierte, um Beweise zu liefern, viele sind schlecht ausgebildet. a. Der Morgen Front Desk-Mitglied sagte mir, dass er “nur Hier arbeitete” und der Manager würde in ein paar Stunden kommen, um mir zu helfen. Keiner kam zu mir zurück. b. Angefragt Manager Unterstützung, kein Mensch kam zu mir zurück. 2. Hotelzimmer hatte: a. Gefallene Kuchen auf dem Sofa. b. Scheiße im Badezimmer c. Gebrochene oder extrem verbrauchte Möbel. d. Geschirrte und gebrochene Fensterdräder 3. Die Rechnungsstellung war falsch und schwer zu korrigieren. Unsere Familie wuchs auf, um Hotels zu verwalten und ich weiß, dass das Eigentum und die Betriebsführung eines Hotels sehr schwierig ist, dieses Hotel zeigt nur, wie schwer es ist. Ich werde nicht wieder auf diesem Hotel bleiben, weil es so viele andere Qualitätshotels in der Umgebung zu den gleichen Kosten gibt.

Our family of 5 stayed here for a week. Everything was clean and in good working order, the staff was pleasant and helpful and the location was close to everything we needed. Parking was easy and free and breakfast was adequate. We felt the fitness center was larger than expected. We REALLY appreciated the daily housekeeping at this property as that doesn’t seem to be common these days. Though this hotel doesn’t have a pool, there are several community pools within 15 min of the property that allow you to swim for a small fee. We went to the one in Old Town and an indoor one at a recreation complex and greatly enjoyed it. Though we found this on our own, it would be great if hotel staff could recommend these options.

I stayed at this property a little more than a year ago for work. It was satisfactory, although I used the fitness center on that visit and the equipment was not all in working order. Although my expectations for this hotel were not high, the experience was still disappointing. The room was fine, although there appeared to be water damage in the ceiling, visible in the form of paint discoloration (room 706). When I checked in for the two-night stay, I requested housekeeping. It said on the website that housekeeping is done every other day, except on request. The person who checked me in seemed a bit unsure, so I verified the following morning. I arrived back at my room around 7 p.m. to find no one had come. Ironically, the housekeeper left a paper with a QR code waiting for me when I checked in to leave a tip. When I went to complain, I was told (by the same person who checked me in the previous evening) there was nothing that could be done. Really? There was no one from housekeeping on site? No fresh towels in the hotel? I also paid for a rate with breakfast. I was not provided with any information when checking in, until I asked. At that time, I was provided with a card explaining what I was entitled to. On both mornings I ordered the yogurt parfait with fruit and granola, a fruit cup, and a small coffee. On both mornings the fruit was tasteless. This included hard strawberries, unripe cantaloupe, and blueberries. Even the blueberries were tasteless. This really is shameful. Had I not paid for a rate with breakfast, those items and a small coffee would have cost me more than $25 with tax. Finally, I delayed writing this review. I completed the survey sent automatically, providing the information above. Today, I received a pro forma response from the Assistant Manager. This lackadaisical response was the last straw and I feel that it is appropriate for me to share this experience with others.

Second time-even better! We chose this hotel again because of its proximity to the Metro and Old Town. It was a win-win on both accounts. We loved walking around the area and eating locally plus we loved having easy access to DC for the museums etc. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a large desk for the bit of work we needed to do. The Wi-Fi was free but I had trouble with it using AT&T but my partner has Verizon and had no issues. I did love the digital key on the app. It didn’t work a couple of times as my Wi-Fi was iffy at times in and near the room. We went to the diner next door for more reasonable breakfast prices.

Das Restaurant war nicht zu schlecht und das einzige, was ich normalerweise nicht gerne mit einem Valet verlassen möchte, aber sie waren schnell und freundlich. Sie schreiben sie und sie antworten eine geben Ihnen Zeit zu kommen, um das Auto zu holen. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie etwas Geld handvoll haben, wie sie Sie überwältigen und beginnen, Taschen zu fangen und das Auto zu parken. Ich war unvorbereitet und musste sich erinnern, wer später bei dem Besuch zu tippen. Die Zimmerluft war perfekt und der Besuch war fantastisch.

Ctrip buchte zwei Doppelzimmer, die an der Rezeption zum Einchecken bereit waren, und nur ein Doppelbett wurde beantwortet. Der Ctrip-Kundenservice war immer beschäftigt. Später rief mich ein Kundenservice an, um mit der Hotelrezeption zu sprechen, und gab sie dem Hotel. Nach einem Bestätigungscode im Inneren fand das Hotel einen anderen Abschnitt der Abteilung oder ein Doppelbett. Das Kundendiensttelefon verwandelte die Hotelrezeption in ein großes Bett. Die Rezeption weigerte sich, sagte, es könne nicht geändert werden und musste schließlich warten, bis Ctrip verhandelte, etwa eine Stunde vorher und nachher. Schließlich ging ich zum diensthabenden Manager des Hotels, um die Situation zu erklären, bevor ich einchecken konnte. Meine Zimmerkarte bekam ich um 20.50 Uhr und um 22 Uhr. Nach einem langen Tag voller Müdigkeit war es ein bisschen hässlich, diesem zu begegnen. Die Lage ist relativ nah und der Preis ist relativ günstig. Hilton ist schließlich ein großer Name, aber diese Art von Hotel muss teuer und teuer für das Frühstück sein. Ich denke immer noch, dass Holiday Inn und Crown Plaza besser und kostengünstiger sind.

We were only in Alexandria, VA for one night, arrived early and room was ready. Location was great, we were able to walk with luggage from metro. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and made the stay that much more enjoyable. Room was clean and comfortable. There is a Whole Foods block away, very convenient. First trip with 8 year old Great Niece for her birthday and the staff made her feel very special. Special thanks to Tam, Mr. Molla and Shaquera (apologies if names bit off) for all recommendations and assistance! Will definitely be our choice of hotel when we return to area.

Das Hotel war in einer wunderbaren Stadt nicht zu weit von DC entfernt. Die Architektur war erstaunlich, und das Zimmer hatte eine ganz einzigartige Einrichtung. Service war gut und ich hatte keine Beschwerden.

I am glad I didn’t pay full price ($350/night) for this. Great location and everything looks nice from the outside and the lobby. The room is decent from the looks but once you stay in there, you will realized nothing is working properly. The AC/Heater was not working, the control for the AC/Heater doesn’t work so the AC was blasting cold air all night on NYE!!! So we were both freezing and it was 2am! The TV only have 5 channels and 2 are the same as the other 2, so in reality only 3 channels. The TV quality is also very outdated. Feel like we were watching TV from the 80s/90s when it was the actual 2024 NYE concerts. And on the 5th channel, it is just showing how DirectTV subscription is expired, like what? The Wifi in the room is not free unless you are a Bonvoy member. There was less than a quarter roll of toilet paper on the Tp dispenser and they also didn’t provide a second roll. The body wash pump was empty and the shampoo ran out. The bottom side of the toilet seat looks very filthy as if they haven’t clean that part of the toilet seat in a while. The floor of the bathroom was also very dirty. We usually check if we can ask for a late check-out the night before, but we called the front desk with no answers. When they finally answered, they said we have to call back at 7am to let us know. Ehh Hello? The whole point of getting a late check out is so we can sleep in? So I had to set an alarm to call back at 7am to get a 1pm check out. It was a bit annoying. This was a big disappointment for me because this was supposed to be a nice hotel from Marriott as the Autograph Collection. Especially for $350 a night in the middle of Old Town Alexandria, I had expected better quality. Not to mention the chaos during check-in. Seems like there were only 4 workers there for HUNDReDs of customer. People were angry about being stuck in the parking garage and no one can help them and they gave a lady a room that currently already have someone checked-in. Apparently the lady opened the door when the guy was showering in the room. What a chaos!

Insgesamt gebe ich diesem Aufenthalt 5 Sterne. Das Personal an der Rezeption war SEHR freundlich! Die Location ist episch! Während aufgrund von Covid 19 derzeit kein Reinigungsservice angeboten wird, kamen jeden Tag Haushälterinnen ins Zimmer, um alle gewünschten Zimmerartikel (z. B. Kaffee-Pflegehandtücher) abzugeben. Das Hummingbird Restaurant ist geöffnet und lecker. Weitere Informationen: Parken auf einem Stadtdeck direkt hinter dem Hotel für deutlich weniger Geld als Hotelparkplätze. Die Wände im Hotel sind SEHR dünn - ich habe meine Telefongespräche buchstäblich mithören können (& ähm ... andere Aktivitäten).
