Der Aufenthalt im Waldorf Astoria Lusail war etwas vom Besten, was ich in meinem Leben an bereits zahlreichen Hotelerlebnissen bisher hatte. Ich habe schon einige Hotels auf der ganzen Welt besucht und glaube, dass ich aufgrund von diesen Erfahrungen einen aussagekräftigen und objektiven Vergleich habe (im Premium-Sgement). Von der ersten Minute an wurden wir so empfangen, als wären wir die einzigen und wichtigsten Gäste in diesem Hotel. Michelle Macapu***, unsere Personal Concierge, machte einen unglaublichen Job: sie war für uns wie ein Engel, der jeden Wunsch erfüllte. Sie betreute uns von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute ausgezeichnet. Sei es, dass Sie sich im Namen des Hotels für das Verhalten unserer Zimmernachbarn entschuldigte (mit einer süssen Begleitung) oder vom Morgen bis zum Abend einfach für alles besorgt war, was wir brauchten. Der Tisch im hoteleigenen Restaurant war nicht einfach nur reserviert (per WhatsApp spontan angefragt aus dem Tram, als wir aus der Stadt zurückkamen), sondern mit Rosenblättern für uns gedeckt. Ganz lieben Dank, Michelle, wir werden Sie nie vergessen! Jedes Hotel kann sich eine solche Mitarbeiterin, welche die Wünsche der Gäste immer erahnt und ernst nimmt, nur wünschen! Das Waldorf Astoria Lusail ist sehr geschmackvoll und gleichzeitig sehr modern. Die Restaurants sind einfach toll, gerade auch als Abwechslung mit den verschiedenen Küchen (von Sushi im Sushisamba bis zur Pasta im Scarpetta). Zudem sind die Preise sehr fair. Alle Mitarbeitenden begrüssen die Gäste mit einem Lächeln, das nie aufgesetzt wirkt, sondern stets von Herzen. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals legt den Teppich für einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Die beste Visitenkarte für das Hotel sind sicherlich auch die zahlreichen einheimischen Gäste (in traditioneller Kleidung), die das Wochenende mit ihren Familien im Hotel verbringen, auch wenn das dazu führt, dass beim Frühstück dann ziemlich Betrieb ist :-) Aber auch in der Hektik verfliegt die Freundlichkeit des Personals nie und es finden sich immer für alles gute Lösungen. Die Poolanlage ist sehr schön und es gibt auch immer freie Liegen. Das gilt auch am schönen Strand. Auch dort ist das Personal stets sehr aufmerksam und kaum hat man sich auf der Liege eingerichtet, sind schon die Flaschen mit gekühltem Trinkwasser da. Ich könnte noch so vieles aufzählen, was dieses Hotel ausmacht (die kleinen und grossen Dinge, die den Unterschied machen zu anderen Hotels). Ich kann das Waldorf Astoria einfach vorbehaltlos empfehlen und ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch. Noch einmal ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön vor allem an Michelle Macapu***, unseren Personal Concierge. Ebenfalls gerne erwähnen möchten wir Abdusaid, der uns wunderbar betreut hat im Scarpetta. Sehr schönes neues Hotel, das in die 'Place Vendome' Mall integriert ist. Im Moment die beste Mall. Es liegt im neuen aufgeschütteten Teil Lusail. Die Zimmer waren sehr modern ausgestattet, der Service war sehr gut. Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank an Motasem.

Agora autograph collection and Agora team have been my home and family for more than 7 month, and I was so sad leaving cause of work relocation. I have been living in Qatar for 8 years, and only Agora made me extremely happy ❤️ starting with Valet team, reception team, Raeesah and Tahir you have been my problem solvers, they way how extremely professional they are🙏🏻 Maggie from house keeping is like part of my family in the house, I trust her professionalism, she would notice every detail, keeping my place so clean and neat🙏🏻 Pool and gym team, you guys have been making my each day at the pool and gym so positive 😍 and of course Cristian, who is the most visionary leader and GM of the Agora hotel, managing a great team, leadership and teamwork, you can see how his team even so happy and love their job, that can happen only when you have a great leader! 👏🏻customer care is his greatest quality, not every hotel has such a great, professional GM in hospitality in Doha. Das Hotel ist nicht schlecht, das Frühstück ist auch groß, der Service ist sehr gut, es gibt eine Bar in der Nähe der Nacht, sehr heiß

We booked 3 rooms for 2 nights for family to attend the AFC finals. The main reason behind this choice was the cowvineniat location 10 min from the final stadium and the claimed 24 hr mall(which turned to be a hypermarket, no even pharmacy or atm machine). We arrived around 17.30 which should be convenient time for check in. But the reception had only 1 receptionist who was thriving to assist everyone, which was too hard. Later on she had Nisreen who attended us and was trying to allocate our twin preferred rooms. She was so nice altough too much pressurized by the demand of guests unlike Hamza who was so rigid in dealing with us. At last we got 2 rooms one with king and 1 ready twin and other was collected after 1 hour. Strangely, due to the structure of the hotel, the higher you go the smaller your room became 🙈i totally understand that if the view shall compensate but unfortunately due the steel design it does not at all. So i ended up with small king room and obstructed view. I was fine due to the quick stay and high demand. Morning i found out there was no hot water in the shower !!! Here it really comes on my nervous. I called requesting room change and was promised this shall take place at noon. Breakfast in the hotel is too normal. Nothing to highlight. I packed up so they can transfer my luggage to the new room and came back around 15.15!! And apparently no one had any action toward my demand. Nisreen again was so nice to assist me and get me another nicer room with a working shower! And she accompanied me to the room ensuring everything is fine and had complimentary cake and fruit to us too. She is the only person who seems to care about the guest impression about the hotel. Finally we settled in, rooms are generally specious don’t get higher floors. Acceptable cleaning level. Soundproofing is too bad! I could hear the noise in the street and corridor. We can hear other rooms through the joining door too! Bathroom is specious with generous amenities. In room dining is affordable but low quality. We tried kids sliders, pasta and mozerlla sticks were not that good. Pizza was fine. Checking out was easy.

Superb hotel, this was our first trip to Doha, hotel is in an excellent location, with The Mall Vendome a 5 minute walk away and well worth a visit or two. Joannd was very helpful and called us as soon as there was a room available, so after a long flight and not much sleep surprising us with an earlier than expected checkin and a fabulous upgrade was very much appreciated. Room and view were amazing, bathroom was fabulous, you could lie in the bath and look at the superb view. Bed was very comfortable and room had everything you needed. Breakfast was between 630-1030 and was excellent, lots of different options, the pastries and the coffee were exceptional . Staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing at all was ever a problem. Thank you again for making our stay so lovely and thank you again to Joannd.
