Perfect location for our drive Perth to Melbourne, easy access from and to the highway. Spacious, clean room with table, couch, TV, aircon and very comfortable bed. Ensuite a little outdated but the room had been freshened up. We had trouble connecting to the wifi. The restaurant was closed on our visit but we ordered room service and enjoyed our meal. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Be aware that while there is a 'late check-in' window, a sign on the door said that reception hours had changed to 8am - 8pm (when we booked the site said it was open all night... it might be wise to check ahead if you're likely to be later) Good, clean accommodation. We had a good stay.

Als Sie am ersten Abend aufhalten, ist Freitag, sehr scharf, der Ton bis um 3 Uhr morgens ist immer noch ein Ton. In den nächsten Tagen ist es besser. Die Lage ist bequem, die nächste Straße ist ein Fußgängerfest. Wenn Sie Kinder mitbringen wollen, dass die Umgebung besser ist, das ruhige Hotel, wird das Haus nicht empfohlen.

We stayed here for a two night break, lured in by the stylized photographs. The hotel itself was built in 1926, and I think the rooms were last refurbished around 1976 the furniture is old and dated. The med was comfortable, but we found some serious stains on the bedding. The location is excellent for trams and access to Rundle St Mall, however being so close to Hi key Street means that there are council street sweeper trucks passing around 430am ever morning. Also, the lane way that has access to the hotel had a few undesirable characters camping in the doorway of the hotel, and having a little drink and argument to themselves quite late. The cold water tap in the bathroom didn’t work. We alerted the hotel reception who told us there was someone booked to come and fix it whilst we were out. When we returned it had not been fixed. We told the receptionist that it hasn’t been fixed so if the plumber had billed them, then he hadn’t done his job. Finally, the hotel policy has a clause for “night workers” who are to “escort their guests out of the building and ensure the security fort is closed” I wasn’t quite sure what that meant at first, but it didn’t take long for the penny to drop. Several times during the night there was a rhythmic banging of the headboard in the adjacent room ….. business must have been good! Overall, I guess you get what you pay for. We lamented over the additional $20 a night extra we could have spent to have a much nicer hotel, just an extra block away from being smack bang in the middle of the city.

Überschaubar grosses Mittelklassehotel in bester Lage zum Zentrum. Sehr freundliches Personal. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und recht gross. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist sehr reichhaltig und man kann zusätzlich Eispeisen bestellen, Kaffee und Tee werden kostenlos den ganzen Tag lang angeboten. Nur vom ”Roof Garden” sollte man nicht zu viel erwarten, das ist ein etwas grösserer Balkon.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Adelaide. Very convenient location and great view

Decided to try he Arkaba Hotel bistro twice during my stay in Adelaide. I'm glad I did. Whilst this is a huge complex that has the bistro, pokies, sports bar and accomodation, it is a family friendly place that is well patronised. When I was there on a Friday and Sunday night, the dining room was bustling, with diners having a meal before theatre/comedy shows and birthday celebrations, in addition to the usual casual dining. On Friday night, I tried the sourdough garlic bread with cheese, which had some nice density to it, grilled to perfection with stretchy cheese. Then I had the beef schnitzel with mushroom sauce. The schnitzel was crunchy and I really liked the mushroom sauce - lots of mushrooms in a possible cream of mushroom soup base. Lots of crispy chips were on the plate too. When I went back on the Sunday, I had the Yoder smoked scotch fillet, once again with mushroom sauce. I didn't need the sauce, as the steak had a lovely Smokey flavour that stood on its own. I ordered mine medium, and it was cooked perfectly. The Caesar salad was fresh and tasty, and the dressing was not too heavy. The chips were crispy once again, but the only downside were the two onion rings, which could have done with a bit longer in the fryer. Meals are ordered and paid for at the register, with drinks purchased separately at the bar. Multiple televisions screens showing sport and select commercial stations are also present in the bistro. All in all, next time I visit Adelaide, I will be heading back to Arkaba Hotel for a meal.

Echt sauber und modern Wohnung mit zwei guten Schlafzimmern. Die Küche hat einen Ofen, Geschirrspüler und alle elektrischen und kühlschränken Sie brauchen. Perfekt für Familien, die vielleicht nicht immer gerne essen wollen. Freundliches Personal. Woolworths ist ein 5-10 Min. Spaziergang entfernt. Es gibt auch Jenny’s Backe 15 Min. Spaziergang entlang der Glen Osmond Road in Richtung der Stadt, die einen großen Kaffee und erstaunliche Backwaren auf der Website serviert! Es ist nur ein 5-10 Min. Fahrt in Adelaide. Nur Rückmeldungen habe ich ist die Block C 102 Erdgeschoss Wohnung, die wir benannt wurden, um sehr laut mit der ganzen Türschlamm von Menschen, die in und aus dem Gebäude gehen. Es kann wirklich laut sein, wenn Sie schlafen, da die Wohnung direkt neben den Haustüren ist. Sie werden überlegen, wenn wir nächstes Mal Adelaide besuchen.

Der Service war gut. Da die Toilettenbereiche häufig waren, wurden sie sauber und hygienisch gepflegt. Das Personal ist auch freundlich. Insgesamt Mein Aufenthalt war gut und komfortabel.

A truly amazing experience, everyone who is involved here is friendly and so accommodating from the moment we walked in. The room is very comfortable and well appointed. The restaurant is top class, the guy running food and beverage is in a class of his own, he has made our stay an experience. Cannot recommend it enough we will make this our place to stay on our visits to Adelaide.
