the hotel is very nice, located 3 minutes' walk from the train directly to Shinjuku. The staff is kind. The breakfast has many options, the onsen is clean and was not crowded in the evening. The only issue is that our room was so small we could not move around.

Highly recommend! We had 2 rooms, one with a private bath, the other was the special room on the 6th floor. The special room appeared to have the original materials and fixtures, which we appreciate. Everything was maintained very well. If I could suggest one thing, it would be having the carpet replaced in the room, as well as in the public spaces. Breakfast had a good variety of western and Japanese foods. The fixed course dinner was exceptional, from the presentation to the taste. One memorable experience for us was the table tennis. Our whole family had such a good time! Last but not least, the service was top-notch. From the moment we stepped in the hotel, Kitabori was there to welcome us and ensured that we had everything we needed. His professionalism and attention to details truly enhanced our stay! We would definitely stay there again.

Araki Kousen Ryokan was absolutely lovely and felt very welcoming for our family. This was our first stay at a ryokan in Japan, and while we were initially a little worried it might feel old or uncomfortable, it was actually very clean, cozy, and full of charm. The staff were incredibly kind and made us feel right at home, even helping us secure a dinner reservation at a local restaurant. The onsen was relaxing and the water temperature was just right. Breakfast was a highlight as well—delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and a wonderful way to start the day together. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return with our family again.

I had a wonderful stay at Yuno Yado Wadoh with a friend, the scenery out there is absolutely beautiful, the staff were so helpful and attentive, the food was so delicious! The staff were all so kind and went above and beyond to help with any issues we had. The public onsen and private open air bath was heavenly. There were also some very fun hiking trails within walking distance from the Ryokan. I would highly recommend this Ryokan as a fun get away from the city to really get to see and experience the countryside of Japan while not having to travel so far.

Die goldene Woche ist sehr belastet, aber die Lagerhalle der Schale ist nicht leer, so dass ich mich in meinem Zimmer verwalte. Ist es weniger als das Zimmer? Der Freibad ist komfortabel und das Frühstück zufriedenstellend.

Booked this hotel for overnite stay while on the way to Nikko. The are is quiet at night time. The room is just a standard Japan hotel room, though size is bigger compared to those in Tokyo downtown area. The hotel spa (or onsen) is actually few mins walk away (and need to go up to footbridge to cross the road). We drove to the spa mainly because there is a restaurant that we could have dinner. As we arrived late, we didn't try the onsen there. The spa looks good and staff there is very nice.

The public Bath onsen is really relaxing The quality is basically the same as those paid path house outside I will definitely come again Although the location isn’t too close to the main train station, but it’s a close walk for around 15 minutes.

Außenstehende bewahren.  Der scharfe Kopftücher mit Brillen auf der Rezeption ist ein schrecklicher Gastgeber. Er weigerte sich, uns in unseren Zimmern zu zeigen und uns mit unseren Gepäck zu helfen.  Er hielt auch nicht mit dem Gepäck bei der Abfertigung Hilfe bei der Auscheckung. Als wir herausgefunden haben, war er auch nicht freundlich, mit Taqbin zu helfen. Glücklicherweise war Familiemart genügend, um uns mit unserem Taqbin-Gepäck zu helfen.

Die Lage ist super, viele tolle Restaurants und Geschäfte in der Nähe. Das Hotel ist blitzsauber und sehr einladend. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind sehr hilfsbereit. Das japanische Frühstück war zwar nicht mein Fall, aber die Auswahl war gut und wechselte fast täglich. Die Zimmer haben eine ordentliche Größe (für japanische Verhältnisse). Ich kann das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und komme gerne wieder!
