Great onsen with shared baths, allowing couples and families to enjoy the hot springs together. Dinner and breakfast are simply amazing! Before you have time to finish one dish, they are already bringing you another. The staff is extremely polite and ready to solve any problem! The downside is the remote loc nuation, but there is a shuttle to the onsen. Also, we did not have amenities in our room, only on the floor, but this is special about our building.

Der Park ist auch sehr schön, um in der Nähe zu gehen, aber der Parkplatz ist sehr gut, aber das Hotel ist nur 1.2 Kilometer entfernt, wo es Autos gibt, die Fahrzeit ist schnell fast ein Autos gibt, das sehr bequem ist, das Hotel ist sehr gut und seine eigene Wurzelsuppe ist sehr glatt Pass auf, dass du nicht schläfst. Es gibt viele Japaner, die sich selbst schläfst.

Es war nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Bushalteplatz Minakami Onsen entfernt und das Zimmer war sauber. Liebe den privaten Start übersehen auch den Fluss. Wir hatten dort nicht Frühstück, da der Preis für uns ein wenig steif war (~27 SGD) aber es gibt eine nahegelegene Backwaren und andere F&B, so dass das Essen nicht ein Problem war. Sie bieten PJs und ein Kardigan, um auch über. Personal war auch nett.

food is amazing so as the onsen, we went all the way out to try all the different onsen waters in a night. attentive staffs who greet whenever they see us. one thing might be the private onsens rooms are a bit dirty & not looked after since they only clean once every day I think.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tokinoniwa Onsen Hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in a sense of tranquility and luxury that defines a perfect Japanese ryokan stay. The hotel effortlessly blends traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern comforts. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, ensuring every aspect of the stay was seamless. The check-in process was smooth, and the hospitality throughout my visit was outstanding. The tatami-style room was beautifully designed, offering both elegance and comfort. The highlight was the private open-air onsen on the balcony, where I could soak in the natural hot spring water while enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. The serene ambiance made it a truly rejuvenating experience.

Ein atemberaubend schönes, stimmungsvolles und unglaublich gut gestaltetes Ryokan. Es gibt drei Onsen (jeweils mit separaten Öffnungszeiten für Männer und Frauen). An alles wurde wirklich gedacht: Badetücher für mehrere Onsen-Besuche und die besten Toilettenartikel, inklusive Haargummi. Yukatas und warme Yukata-Überwürfe werden bereitgestellt. Und (ich habe das noch nie gesehen) Socken mit Zehenkappen und alle anderen notwendigen Dinge. Der Innenbereich ist wunderschön, mit einem kleinen Garten mit Wasserfall. Die Lage ist ideal – der Yubatake, der Garten und der Busbahnhof sind alle bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Abendessen und Frühstück sind sehr reichhaltig. Die Mahlzeiten werden im Speisesaal serviert, jedoch in einem separaten Raum auf Ihrem Zimmer. Tee und Kaffee stehen in der Lobby bereit.

Location was good,big place with a lot of things.Rooms seems old but very clean and have a balcony with nice view.The free hot spring was quiet ,not much people.I was almost using all the time. Very good experience,definitely recommend.

Das Hotel ist zwar alt, aber die Hauptattraktionen sind die heißen Quellen und das Skigebiet, daher sind die veralteten Einrichtungen akzeptabel. Wer einen luxuriösen Urlaub mit komfortablen Zimmern und entspannenden Thermalbädern sucht, sollte sich für ein anderes Hotel entscheiden. Die Skipisten sind direkt vom Hotel aus zugänglich, was für Skifahrer ideal ist. Das Restaurant ist gut. Es bietet ein Buffet und Kaiseki-Küche à la carte. Viele taiwanesische Gäste übernachten in diesem Hotel, und im Erdgeschoss befindet sich auch ein Skitrainingsteam. Dort spricht man Mandarin, und es wird nur Bargeld akzeptiert. Nachts konnte ich keine Sterne sehen. Das Hotel war fast ausgebucht, daher war das Personal sehr beschäftigt. Es war fast unmöglich, im Zimmer telefonisch jemanden zu erreichen. Das Hotel liegt hoch in den Bergen, ohne Apotheken in der Nähe und mit ungünstiger Verkehrsanbindung. Familien mit Kindern sollten ihre Medikamente selbst mitbringen. Skifahren und die heißen Quellen sind großartig!

Stayed for 2 nights in early Dec 2024. Booked the mountain view twin room with cypress bath which comes with both dinner and breakfast. The ryokan styled hotel is located diagonally opposite from the shibukawa bus stop and about 5 mins walk (turn right from the hotel) to the Ikaho stone steps around the mid section of the steps. The hotel is old ryokan style but well maintained and does not see much wear and tear. The lobby which is on the 3rd floor (ground level) is big. No shoes allowed in the hotel, guests have to deposit their shoes at the entrance. Staff were all friendly and polite though not all can speak well in English. They do go much more to make you feel at home. Yutaka is provided at the lobby. My room which is located on the 4th floor corner is considered big. Old styled ryokan kind of design but with western bed. Though the room is laid with tatami on the floor but can still hear people walking if they area heavy or run. Corridor noise does filter in as well but muffled. Unblocked view of the mountain as the hotel sits on an elevated hill. I would recommend to stay with mountain view. The cypress bath can fit 2 person but takes a while to fill, I rather go to the public onsen. Besides the usual amenities, they even provide face wash, face moisturiser, etc in the room. Safe box is provided in the room as well. Wifi seems weak. No place in the bathroom however to hang your clothes or towel. There is an indoor onsen on the first floor and an outdoor one on the 8th floor. The onsen are gender separated. They rotate the male and female onsen on the first floor though both has the same look and facilities. The onsen on the 8th floor has a nice view of the city but no shower facilities. There is a massage chair on the first floor as well. Breakfast and dinner are served on the 2nd floor. I would not say that this is the best, but definitely delicious and sufficient. Check in at 3 pm and check out at 10am which I find a bit too early. Hope they can consider to extend. Overall I would recommend this place to stay if you are coming to ikaho.
