A lovingly decorated Hotel in the beautiful old town of Obidos. We visited when the renaissane fair was in town, which led to a great atmosphere in the historic city. The common and private rooms are kept in a medieval-ish style but sport all the modern amenities you could need. The breakfast is well prepared and deliccious and the pool a welcome addition in the hot summer months. There is not too much to visit nearby beside the beautiful old town, but that can easily fill multiple awe-inspiring days. There are multiple restaurants and bars in Obidos that i well recommend. A good mix of relaxing holiday and culture. 9/10 Interior 10/10 Location 9/10 Staff 10/10 Breakfast Das Hotel ist liebevoll in einem mittelalterlichen Stil eingerichtet, die Zimmer verfügen aber natürlich über alle modernen Annehmlichkeiten. Der Pool ist eine willkommene Abkühlung i n den heißen Sommermonaten. Während unseres Aufenthaltes gab es in der Stadt einen großen Mittelaltermarkt, was ein sehr schönes Erlebnis war. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es nicht allzuviele Sehenswürdigkeiten, mit Ausnahme der Altstadt von Obidos. Und diese ist wunderschön, beeindruckend historisch und mit sehr guten Restaurants und Bars ausgestattet, so dass man ohne Probleme einige tage hier verbringen kann. We stayed here for 3 nights. We arrived by hire car, the access to the hotel from the main routes was easy and there are some parking spots reserved for guests right outside the hotel, otherwise there seems to be plentiful parking at the back of the hotel (we did not need to use this as we were always able to get a parking space out the front). The hotel is located just outside of the walls of the old town of Obidos with very easy access to the old town and all that is has to offer - there are plenty of restaurants within a 5 minute stroll of the hotel. The hotel itself is quite comfortable - good buffet breakfast, nice comfy beds, good water pressure in the shower. We did not eat at the restaurant except for breakfast. It is also very easy to visit places such as Peniche and Nazaré from here. I would stay here again were I to return to Obidos.

Though I did not aim for playing golf in this hotel, but it is still worth staying if you plan to stay in Obidos and will drive. The hotel is about 15 min. drive to town centre and parking is easy in the town. Hotel offers free parking and there are quite a lot of park spaces around the area. Some rooms are further away from hotel lobby and restaurant but there are different parking areas around the hotel so that it will still be closed to your room. The room and bathroom are spacious and my room has a stunning view overlooking a large green area and ocean. Bed is comfortable and the room is clean with overall good condition. I had dinner at the bar and breakfast was included in the restaurant, food was ok and you could stay in the bar untill 11pm or 12am (did to remember) if you want to have a drink. You can use the swimming pool (indoor and outdoor) and sauna and you can borrow the robe, towel and locker from them which is convenient. They also have a gym room but I did not use it so I am not sure whether it is also free or not. I will highly recommend this hotel considering the price and everything.

Der Hotelparkplatz ist sehr klein (nur etwa 7-8 Parkplätze am Straßenrand, die Koordinaten sind 39.363078, -9.156986), was das Parken schwierig macht. Bitte kontaktieren Sie das Hotel, um die Route vor dem Abflug zu bestätigen, um Blindheit zu vermeiden. Für unseren Aufenthalt im April 2019 kann nur das Tor Porta do Vale oder Senhora da Graça die Stadt betreten. Biegen Sie dann rechts ab, folgen Sie R. do Cel. Pacheco bergab nach oben und biegen Sie rechts ab. Fahren Sie 50 Meter weiter bis Unter dem Schloss befindet sich ein Straßenparkplatz. Die Rezeption befindet sich im Garten am Ende der Straße. Wenn Sie die Stadt verlassen, kehren Sie zuerst zum Tor der Porta do Vale oder Senhora da Graça zurück, biegen Sie dann rechts ab (das Graça-Tor kann nur die Stadt betreten, nicht außerhalb der Stadt) und folgen dem inneren Durchgang der Stadtmauer bis zum Portal de Óbidos (dem Tor) Kann nur die Stadt verlassen, nicht in die Stadt) und dann aus der Stadt. Es kann viele Schritte vom Parkplatz zum Hotelzimmer geben. Es wird empfohlen, dass ältere oder gebrechliche Personen einen Hotelpage-Helfer an der Rezeption arrangieren (bitte zahlen Sie ein entsprechendes Trinkgeld. Wenn wir zwei große Gepäckstücke haben, zahlen wir als Trinkgeld ein Trinkgeld von 5 Euro). Das 24-Stunden-Personal an der Rezeption ist begeistert, professionell und zufrieden. Die Innenausstattung des Zimmers entspricht der Website-Einführung und ist komfortabel. Das Zimmer wurde täglich vom Kellner gereinigt, der Müll herausgenommen, die Handtücher gewechselt und die Betten gemacht. Ich war zufrieden. Duschen heißes Wasser war gut und problemlos. Es gibt keine Hausschuhe im Zimmer, bitte bringen Sie Ihre eigenen mit. Hotel Restaurant Blick und Service sind sehr gut. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und von hoher Qualität. Das Abendessen war wunderschön. Die Lounge ist sehr komfortabel, vergessen Sie nicht, sie zu genießen. Im Restaurant befindet sich eine versteckte Tür, die direkt zur Spitze des Schlosses führt. Obidos vor der Ankunft der Menschenmassen am frühen Morgen und nachdem die Menschenmassen in der Abenddämmerung zurückgegangen sind, ist das Licht weich, ruhig und voller des ursprünglichen Geschmacks der antiken Stadt. Es ist einen sorgfältigen Straßengeschmack wert. Die Innenstadt ist nicht groß, es gibt nur 3 Hauptstraßen von Nord nach Süd und es dauert nur 1-1,5 Stunden, um den Einkauf zu beenden.

Sie setzten mich in ein anderes Zimmer als das Vertragszimmer (Ich habe ein oberer Zimmer mit Balkon gebucht und ich wurde in ein Zimmer ohne Balkon gestellt, 20 Euro billiger). Ich fand diese Haltung falsch. Das Hotel ist gut. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet.

Wir sind in Obidos, um die letzte Nacht einer Tour im Norden des Landes zu verbringen. Obidos ist eine bewölkte Stadt mit Verkehrsbeschränkungen, und der Zugang ist nicht sehr bequem, aber es ist es wert, weil das Volk wunderbar ist. Das Hotel ist ein wunderschönes Haus voller Charme und gutes Geschmack im Zentrum des Dorfes. Die Straßen sind voller sehr angenehme lokale Geschäfte, wo Sie regionale Produkte beobachten können.
