My flat is at the first floor of a four-storey residency with lift. Property is less than 30 mins away from the city enter either driving yourself or take public transportation. A just right distance for travellers who want to enjoy the quietness of local Edinburgh community and free of car parking. Few minutes' walk-distance to bus station, supermarket etc.
The flat is recently refurnished with IKEA furniture. The flat is bright and warm thanks to its location and large windows. Central heating and 24 hours hot water.
I am renting the whole flat or two bedrooms separately subject to the actual situation. The whole flat can host 5 persons max. One bed can host two people, another bed for three people. During the peak time, the two bedrooms could be fully booked but most of the time I enjoy just hosting one or two guests.
Airport pickup, in-city delivery and highland trip can be discussed at reasonable price.

GGastnutzerThe hotel is perfectly situated near the theatre making it easy to access on foot. My room was spotless and the bed was so comfortable, I had a great night's sleep. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful, empathetic and understanding as ended up being a solo guest due to unforeseen circumstances and going out of their way to accommodate needs . Food was lovely and staff so attentive . I would recommend and will go back

JJenni RWe stayed for 2 nights at Pillars House. Edna and Craig were very responsive to emails ahead of our stay and even though there wasn't a hot breakfast, I appreciated the well stocked fridge and pantry complete with Irn Bru. The room had every necessity, including a hair dryer. We had a room on the second floor in the back, which was very quiet overall. There is no elevator, so if you need that, you may want to inquire about a ground floor room. The location is great- very convenient to the tram line which will take you toward Ocean Terminal (to see the Royal Yacht Britannia) or down to the city center with convenient stops at Princes Street and St Andrew Square. It's maybe 60 minutes from the airport via the tram (use the Foot of the Walk stop). Coming from the US with an early arrival (meaning middle of the night for us!), I appreciated the 10AM check in time. It can be quite a drag (sometimes literally) when you can't check in until the afternoon after a long overnight flight. Thank you Edna and Craig!

We stayed here in order to visit family in Newhaven. It was Christmas Market time so a busy time in Edinburgh. There was good communication from the property prior to our visit with regards check in. They were understanding when we were late due to bad weather driving up. We felt very welcomed to this refurbished house which has real character. We had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was so comfortable. The house is on a busy road (it is a city after all) but the road noise does not disturb sleep and the owners provide ear plugs but we didn’t need them. The room and en-suite bathroom were immaculately clean. We got parked close by and the side street by the park has plenty parking if you arrive at a time when local restrictions are in place on the road outside. The bus stop is very close for buses into the centre. You are also well situated for Leith. The reception has lots of information for travellers to the city and there is water and a small selection of snacks. The owners have thought of everything. We chose to stay here as it was very good value. We would definitely stay here again.

GGastnutzerLeider haben wir keine so guten Erfahrungen mit dem Southside Guesthouse gemacht. Wir haben dieses Hotel auf Grund der sehr guten Bewertungen und tollen Bilder gebucht. Wir kamen spät im Hotel an und vor dem Haus war ein Berg Bauschutt aufgetürmt. Das hat uns zunächst nicht gestört und da niemand da war um uns in Empfang zu nehmen, haben wir den Schlüssel durch den Türsafe erhalten. Dies war erst einmal positiv. Das Treppenhaus war sehr schön und geschmackvoll gestaltet. Anscheinend haben wir aber im Vergleich zu den anderen Bewertungen in der ersten Etage ein Nieschenzimmer erhalten. Der Teppich war sehr schmutzig, die Gardine zerrissen das Zimmer unfassbar klein, im Bad konnte man sich kaum drehen, der Stuck bröckelte von der Decke über dem Bett und die Fugen der Dusche im Bad waren schimmelig. Und das für mehr als 500€ für 3 Übernachtungen !!!!Wir haben sofort den Veranstalter kontaktiert und uns geweigert in diesem Zimmer zu bleiben, ein anderes konnte man uns nicht geben, bot uns aber an kostenfrei zu stornieren. Da es aber bereits mitten in der Nacht war mussten wir in diesem Zimmer bleiben und sind am nächsten Morgen sofort ausgezogen und für das gleiche Geld in ein tolles Hotel (Hollyrood Apartment Hotel auf der Royal Mile) gezogen, wo wir in 2 Monaten wieder übernachten werden.

This extremely well appointed holiday home which sleeps 6 in Kilchoan, Ardnamurchan, has views to die for and has everything that you could possibly want for a family holiday. Very child and pet friendly. Kilchoan is the most Westerly Village on the British mainland and is an incredibly special place. Situated on the Sound of Mull, with regular vehicle/passenger ferry service to Tobermory, Mull, it is a little bit of paradise. Good local facilities, with a thriving local shop, hotel and community centre with a delightful cafe and a stone’s through from the Ardnamurchan Lighthouse and unspoilt white, sandy beaches, it’s the place to come and forget your troubles, detox from city life and enjoy the wildlife. Sea Eagles, otters, dolphins, whales, pine martens, red squirrels are all resident and can easily be viewed. The water is chrystal clear and our starlit nights are just stunning. This is a little bit of heaven. Yes, it’s remote and the roads are not for the fainthearted, but it’s more than worth the trouble. An extremely warm welcome from this crofting community awaits.

GGuest UserDie drei Personen sind ein Dreier-Gebäude im dritten Stock. Die Lage des kleinen Bettes kann nicht direkt stehen. Das Hotelzimmer ist charakteristisch 😁. Die Lage ist hervorragend. Es ist zu Fuß möglich, Restaurants und Geschäfte zu erreichen, Parken ist auch bequem.

IIrshadI stayed at the Adelphi Hotel on a recent trip to Edinburgh. It's definitely a budget-friendly option, which was perfect for me. The room itself was clean and functional. The bed was comfy, there was a flat-screen TV to unwind with, and the shower had great pressure with plenty of hot water.
Heads up, there's no breakfast offered at the hotel. I grabbed food at a nearby cafe each morning, which wasn't a problem, but be sure to factor that extra cost into your budget.
The room was a little on the small side, and I heard some noise from outside at times. It's not a fancy hotel, and there aren't any amenities beyond free Wi-Fi.
The location, however, was fantastic. It's just a short walk from the tram stop, and most of Edinburgh's attractions were within a 10-15 minute drive. There's even free parking on-site, which is a major plus in the city.
Overall, the Adelphi Hotel was a decent choice for my short stay. It's perfect if you're on a budget and don't mind a basic room without frills. Just be prepared to find breakfast elsewhere and manage your expectations.

GGastnutzerZunächst einmal sind die Rests dieses Hotels schön, nicht nur das menschliche Poo hat eine schöne Anzeige zu den Bettblättern hinzugefügt, sondern der Geruch hatte einen schönen Aroma, der mich wie ich zu Hause wiedergefühlt. Die Menschen in diesem Bereich sind fantastisch, ein gutes Beispiel dafür ist der Mann, der spezielle Links, die mir (ein Schlag) auf seinem Rohr angeboten (Ich fragte nicht, was in ihm war), ein weiteres großes Beispiel der Güte ist die Einzel Akademie Schüler, die mir einen “Bat” angeboten hat, Weil “es klingt wie Ihr, um es ya fenien” Ich war unsicher Wetter er meinte ein Haustier bat oder ein Fledermaus, um Kugeln mit wie in Rugby zu schlagen, so habe ich sein Angebot freundlich abgelehnt. Zurück zum Hotel, der Hotelassistent, der mir die Hände gegeben hat, war sehr nett, fragte ich, ob er wusste, was ein ”Chav” war und er mir das Angebot gegeben hat, er kam nie wieder zu mir mit den Informationen, die ich suchte. Auf meinem Weg zurück zum Flughafen fragte ein junger Erwachsener mich, ob er mein Telefon Sp schulden könnte er seine Mutter anrufen, sobald ich es herausgezogen habe, um es ihm zu geben, und er sie gefangen und lief weg, ich hoffe, seine Mutter ist in Ordnung.

DDaviesRobertWenn Sie auf der Suche nach einem Zimmer in Edinburgh ohne Schnickschnack, aber erschwinglich sind, ist dieses Hotel genau das Richtige für Sie. Es ist nicht viel teurer als ein Schlafsaal, aber viel privater mit einem Zimmer und einer Dusche. Bis ins Zentrum sind es außerdem 15 Minuten zu Fuß, bis zum Holy Rood Park und Palace sind es 10 Minuten. Gegenüber gibt es eine Kneipe und ein Restaurant. Es war dort sehr friedlich und ideal für einen preisgünstigen Stadtbesuch

GGuest UserWe just needed somewhere to sleep for 1 night and it provided exactly that. I had read the reviews but wasn't fussed as was the cheapest hotel room we could find in all of Edinburgh. Room was clean. Only 1 pillow so that was uncomfortable though. Bathroom looked recently refurbished. Furniture in the bedroom was tired. But it did the job for 1 night at a very cheap price. Tea/coffee etc available in the room. We knew we would be arriving late at night as flight was delayed, I called the hotel number in advance and explained, lady on the phone was very pleasant and gave me the code for the door and told me which room we would be in. Entered the hotel without any trouble at all.
