Sehr guter Ort. Einrichtungen sind von hoher Qualität und gut gepflegt. Das Essen war sehr raffiniert, obwohl das Frühstück für ein 5-star Hotel mehr Variabilität bieten konnte (z.B. es gab kein geräucherter Lachs für das Frühstück - ich halte Lachs für Standard bei 5-star Hotels, die international Kundenservice betreuen). Das Resort bietet auch Spa- und Tourbuchungen an, aber wir haben diese nicht genutzt. Für unsere Reisedaten war das all-inclusive Paket auf trip.com weitgehend der beste Preis für Geld im Vergleich zu Buchungen direkt oder über eine andere Website. Ein möglicher Bereich für Verbesserungen ist die Bereitstellung eines Mini-Racks auf dem Balkon/Veranda, wo Gäste nass Kleidung nach einer Tour aufhängen können - wäre eine schöne Sache, die ich in einigen anderen Resorts gesehen habe, da einige Gäste nur ihre Kleidung trocken wollen, Nicht unbedingt gewaschen.

Diese Anlage können wir aus vollster Überzeugung weiter empfehlen. Hier stimmt einfach alles!!! Essen sehr gut Zimmer in Ordnung alles sehr sauber. Pool Poolbar super. Alle, aber ausnahmslos alle sind hier sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Meer ist hier traumhaft schön, wie im Bilderbuch!! Was ich hier nichtmehr machen würde ist zum Schnorcheln fahren das zahlt sich nicht aus, da dieses kleine Riff total überrannt ist da stehen zig Boote.... Aber das hat nichts mit dem Hotel direkt zu tun.

Stayed @ Smiles Beach Hotel for 3 nights, 4 days. Meal plan was Half board (Breakfast & Dinner). Road Access The road to the hotel starts off ok, but towards the middle has HUGE pot holes and after a rain it’s completely filled up with mud. The driver has to move very slowly to avoid any damage to the car. On arrival On arrival we were greeted warmly with a nice cold drink, check in was quick and we were taken to our rooms. We booked 2 rooms. Both were located upstairs but not in the same building. To get to the rooms we have to climb a spiral staircase. Rooms The upper floor has 2 rooms side by side. The room door is a split door with a sliding lock and a padlock. There were a few outdoor furniture in the balcony area. The room itself looked very clean and smelled clean. Coffee & tea station, LCD TV, Mini Fridge, Safety deposit box. The bed is built into the room walls. The orientation of the bed is weird. I am an average height guy, 5’8”, and when I lie down to sleep, from my ankle down is off the bed. But if the bed was orientated the other way, there would be more than enough room. The rooms are old and needs some TLC, ceiling is wood and black dirt keeps falling from the cracks. We were told that the room service will come over around 7.30 at every night to “turn d own” the room. Technically, spray some bug spray outside the room door and setup the mosquito nets. From our 3 nights, this happened only on the last day. That too, the net had a 1cm hole. Bathroom Pretty large bathroom, basic toiletries available (No body lotion or dental kit). The toilets are clean. The sink is a little on the high side. If there are children, it’s a bit hard to reach to brush teeth etc. Garden, pool and private beach front Garden is kept very neat and tidy. We saw a gardener every morning sweeping the grounds. Pool is clean. The tiles on the outside of the pool were cracked and need to be careful while walking. Especially with bare feet. Private beach front is nice and clean. Its, on a higher elevation so you get a nice view. Hawkers and Masai beach boys The are friendly, but can become a bit annoying after some time. So best advice is to be polite, say no thank you. (they are not allowed in the private beach area) Food & Restaurant Breakfast was not bad, it’s a buffet style menu and had a decent variety, each morning something different. Sometimes in the morning there a few flies around and will hover over the fresh fruit. Dinner was a la carte menu and different for each day as well. The downside is that the food quality drops when they have more occupancy. The biggest issue we had was the meal service times. We had to wait almost 1 hour between entree and main and another 45 min for dessert. This was the case every day. There are few felines (cats) inside the restaurant premises. They roam freely and sometimes come and rub themselves on your legs. There were a few other guests that were not very comfortable with this. Als

Really nice place, extremely recommended. Small enough to be quiet and cozy, big enough to give you the possibility of relaxing (two swimming pools to relax; two restaurants: one in the resort, one at the beach). The personnel was extremely nice and helpful. The resort is located in the north part of the island, and at the moment is the last resort/hotel toward the east side. This allowed us not to be in the middle of the touristic area, but at the same time to reach the most famous beaches with 10-15 minutes of walking on the beach. What we also appreciated is the possibility of still experiencing the tides (and, as said, with a few minutes of walking still reaching beaches where you do not have it). The restaurant on the beach is open during the day and it is an amazing place to relax if you want a cold drink or to read a book. The turtle aquarium is close by, and once a year they do the ”turtle release” day (we luckily managed to take part in it). We would 100% come back.

Die Lage des Hotels ist großartig, im Zentrum des Tourismus, alle Arten von Meeressport, weißer Sandstrand ist besonders schön Die Umwelt ist besonders gut. Sie können alle Arten von Meeresorganismen sehen, und ich habe sogar die Familie von Seehecht und kleinen Fischen gesehen. Der Nachteil ist, dass das Zimmer klein ist und die Einrichtungen einfacher sind. Wir haben auf dem Strand eine legendäre Schlampe gefunden, und beachten Sie, dass Sie nicht anfangen.

Perfekte Woche, da wir nicht viele Reservierungen haben wir kostenlos eine upgrade unseres Zimmers, vor dem Strand Meerblick, wunderschön! Das Personal ist super freundlich und verfügbar, Cyrus Manager hat auch für uns eine Überraschungs-Dinner am Strand organisiert, sehr nett! Das Meer vor dem Resort ist wunderschön, unter dem Phänomen der Meereswellen, oft ist es also schwer zu baden, aber durch die Sandsprachen, die die Landschaft auftreten ist verrückt! Für die Ausflüge können Sie vor Ort mit einem lokalen Touristenbetreiber reservieren, Abdul ist dafür zuständig, die uns in jedem Antrag zufrieden, auch durch die Organisation privater Touren so, dass sie frei entscheiden können, Reisen und Zeitpläne, Es war schön und lustig, Zeit zusammen zu verbringen! Das My Blue Hotel ist sehr schön und sauber. Der Pool ist das absolute Highlight. Aus dem Pool aus kann man den Sonnenuntergang super genießen. Am Strand gab es immer viele freie Liegen, so dass man zu jeder Uhrzeit eine Platzauswahl hatte. Das Personal hat täglich Kokosnüsse am Strand verteilt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, Essen lecker und Frisch, Abendprogramm war abwechslungsreich, ein sehr sauberes Hotel. Wir würden es jedem weiterempfehlen. Die Lage sowie der Strand sind super. Im Hotel werden Massagen angeboten zu einem guten Preis. Wir haben den Urlaub in vollen Zügen genossen. Das Internet war allerdings meist schlecht. Im Zimmer kaum Empfang. Dies hat Verbesserungspotenzial.
